Just cross the street from the community, you’ll find the Timpoochee Trail—a 17-mile paved path perfect for biking, walking, or jogging. And when it’s time for dining, shopping, or family fun, you’ll love the convenience of having so many great options, many within a mile of the cottage.

Steps to fun: Less than a 1-minute walk to the big (7500 square feet) community pool and just a 5-minute stroll to our private deeded beach access that leads to a Blue Wave Certified Beach (which means it is recognized for its cleanliness, responsible management, and commitment to protecting human health and the environment), known for dunes, white sand, and emerald water where you can relax and set up your beach gear. No need to worry about waiting for shuttles or looking for parking spaces when you're heading to the beach.

Family-friendly comfort: Spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath, single-level freshly renovated cottage with old Florida charm and modern conveniences comfortably fits up to 7 people. Our guests appreciate that our small gem of a community, as well as the deeded beach access, stay peaceful even during peak seasons. A lovely bonus: The Good Life cottage is one of the closest to the beach when you want to slip away for your sunrise walks and sunset strolls.

Unwind on the large covered and furnished front porch, perfect for dining al fresco, sipping morning coffee, or playing games on a rainy afternoon. Inside, enjoy the freshly renovated living space with hardwood floors, comfy seating, and a large smart TV for streaming.

The modern kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, plenty of dishware, glassware, and cookware, and everything from a crockpot to a waffle maker—so whether you’re cooking for two or twelve, you’ll have what you need.

Each bedroom is designed for comfort with fresh quilts, blackout curtains for a good night's sleep (or afternoon nap), and streaming TVs. For your peace of mind, we use a professional laundry service to ensure that linens are laundered according to professional-grade, CDC-approved standards. The bed linen program aims to provide guests with a consistently clean and sanitary bedding experience.

The three bedrooms and bathrooms are laid out as follows:

Bedroom with king bed and private full bath
Bedroom with queen bed + twin bed
Bedroom with two twin beds (that you can put together to convert to king)
Second full bath next to the queen and twin bedrooms

We’ve added details that make your vacation easier—plenty of wall hooks and renovated closets with ample storage space for keeping everything organized, hampers in every bedroom, full-size washer and dryer, puzzles, books, games, beach chairs, beach toys, and even a private gas grill. We loved the location - it is steps away from a very nice pool. We also loved sitting on the porch with coffee every morning and returning from the beach to the porch to hose off our things and unwind there. The kids loved the trees out back and watching squirrels and “exploring”. The walk to the beach was literally a few easy minutes walk, and we loved that we could easily bike or walk to Alys and Rosemary! Honestly, we can’t find a negative thing to say about our experience and we are so glad to have found this place for future trips."

Although we personally enjoy pets, no pets are allowed at the cottage due to severe allergies of some of our family and guests

At least one guest must be 25+ and stay at the cottage for the entire stay
