This cottage was perfect for the two of us. Very clean, comfy bed, kitchen had everything we needed. Elaine was great at communicating all necessary info. 5 min walk to the beach, 20 min walk to ferries/restaurants. Loved the outdoor shower! Would definitely stay again.

Thank you for coming! It was a great summer season at the cottages and we are still welcoming guests for the beautiful fall season and holiday festivities. The Saltbox Cottage is cozy and affords guests the chance to simplify and decompress. Sunsets on the beach are all unique and bird migration is in full swing. Nature is here for all of us so come visit when you can.

The cottage was lovely, and we had a wonderful stay. Elaine was an exceptional host - kind, welcoming, and always available to help whenever we needed anything. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience throughout our stay. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would highly recommend staying at her cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Norris Street cottage. It has all the amenities of home to make your stay convenient. It was nice to be in walking distance to a beach and a short drive to downtown for shopping. The host was great at communicating with us regarding any questions we might have before the visit and during. We would definitely recommend this lovely home to friends and family. This was the second summer that my husband and I stayed at the cottage on Norris St. and we loved it just as much as the first time. It was sparkling clean, comfy and well-appointed. It’s walkable to several beaches and also to Main St. Hyannis where there’s lots of restaurants and shopping. The hostess, Elaine is easy to get in touch with and provides information about everything and anything you need to know. We look forward to returning again!

That pretty much sums it up! Fall is a lovely time to visit as well, so bring your light jackets and set out to see the wildlife migration, amazing sunsets and the ocean and its deep colors as the season changes. We welcome you all year round...

Wonderful Cottage, great location

We spent a week at this location, everything was just as mentioned in the listing. Property is extremely well maintained and the owners go out of their way to ensure your visit is a comfortable one.

Wonderful location for this lovely property. Felt very safe walking at night in the neighborhood . Spotless inside and out; obvious they take sanitizing very seriously. Communication with host easy and quick. Will rent again !

Relaxing oasis, but close to everything!

A clean and beautifully kept cottage, in a quiet neighborhood—but close enough to downtown, the grocery store, coffee breaks and the beach! Excellent communication from the beginning of booking through checkout!

Thank you for staying with us at our Saltbox Cottage. It's a great spot to walk along the ocean, and head up to Main Street for local seafood restaurants and unique shops. Both tips of the Cape are easily accessible so its a great home base to explore all the natural wonders of the peninsula. Charming towns dot the length of the area and offer fantastic views of the sea, historical sites and fun activities and fall festivals. Come join us!

Immaculately maintained and super comfortable property within walking distance of beach and Hyannis restaurants. Easy to use, brand new appliances made for a very pleasant stay.

Love this cottage!

The cottage is extremely clean, cute, and cozy. Neighborhood is very quiet and a quick walk to the beach. Elaine is a wonderful host and a joy to talk to! Hope to stay again someday!

A wonderful Cape cottage - perfect in every way

We were very lucky to stay in this newly renovated cottage for Memorial Day weekend. The conditions, amenities and hospitality of the owners were top notch. We would absolutely recommend this cottage if you are looking for a place to stay in the Hyannis area that is walking distance to a beach and a short drive from many more.

Thank you for staying with us! The classic Saltbox cottage has all the charm of yesteryear and the amenities of today. We invite our guests to take a well-deserved getaway during any season. The Saltbox cottage has very efficient heat and AC, so it is comfortable all year round. Fall and Winter walks on the beach have a beauty all their own. We look forward to a great Fall, so please consider visiting the Cape and staying at Norris Cottages.

Hyannis vacation

Absolutely loved this property, so well maintained inside and out, loved the outdoor shower, location was close to everything. Communication with the owner, was the best. Would give this rental 6 stars. Planning on returning next summer.

Fall week getaway

Lovely property. Had a bit of excitement when the hurricane came close but we were provided with everything we needed and the owners came to their home nearby to make sure everything was as it should be . Would definitely rent the same property again!

This cottage is perfect. It’s attractive, clean, comfy, well-appointed and just lovely. There’s a refreshing outdoor shower which we used every day. Anything we needed was there for our use in the cottage. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach and about a mile to Main St. for dining, shopping etc. so you really don’t need to drive at all if you don’t want to. We have no complaints at all about 29 Norris St. and would love to stay at Elaine and John’s place again in the future.

100% Recommend staying here!

Elaine and John were wonderful hosts! They were both there when we arrived and showed us a tour of the cottage. The cottage has everything you need to a fully stocked kitchen, extra towels and linens and even beach chairs! Place was extremely clean. Beach was 3 mins from cottage and about 15 minute walk into town! Would recommend staying here if you come to cape cod!

Excellent!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the 29 Norris St cottage with its airy, coastal design. The kitchen was small but very functional with all the cookware and appliances needed during our stay. The deck was lovely and we used the attached outdoor shower every day. The AC was a lifesaver in the 100 degree temps! The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed all parts of the Cape, from Falmouth to Wellfleet. The owners Elaine and John made everything about our stay easy and comfortable. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. We would definitely return again.

Hyannis Summer

This gem was amazing. The pictures on VRBO did not begin to do justice to this delightful cottage. The interior and exterior were immaculate. The beach was, as advertised, a three to four minute walk. The owners were unbelievably welcoming and available. Just plain good people.
