Waterfront Beach House

Welcome to our Shore Rd beach house! This single family home was recently renovated in 2021 - brand new stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, laminate hardwood flooring, tile bathroom with walk in glass shower & more.

There are 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs both with king size beds. On the main level there is an additional bedroom which has a twin day bed with trundle which makes our home comfortable for up to 6 people. We also offer a pack and play for those traveling with little ones! The upstairs loft area has a desk for those working from the beach!

Outside you will find our front deck with fire pit over looks private sandy beach and Long Island Sound.

All bed linens - sheets, blankets, quilts, pillows
Towels - face clothes, hand towels, bath towels (NOTE: Beach towels NOT included)
Hair dryer
Iron/Iron Board
Paper towels, toilet paper, hand / dish soaps
Full equipped kitchen: pots/pans, baking sheets, cutting board, cooking utensils

Beach chairs (located in side shed)
2 Lounge chairs

Great spot on the beach in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. Very short drive to groceries and other food options. I stayed on this beach growing up, and it is much the same as it was back then. Kids had a great time!

Cute house, excellent location! Comfortable beds and plenty of ac units and fans to keep rooms cool for summer sleeping. Awning over patio area made such a nice place to enjoy the beach in shaded comfort. Thanks for a great weekend!

We loved the cottage—the view, the cozy space, and the beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed peaceful walks and wonderful time with friends. Unfortunately, there was an active construction project at the cottage next door that began around 7 a.m. each day. The noise was abrupt and lasted throughout the day. We completely understand this is not the owners’ fault, but it did affect the level of peace and quiet we were hoping for during our stay. Aside from that, the property itself was absolutely lovely.

Great family vacation

This was the perfect place for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the view was top-notch. Great neighborhoods to walk through and tons of restaurant options. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Beachfront Cottage

The cottage is a perfect cozy stay on the water - we stayed in the winter and still were able to enjoy the sand and the sunrises right outside the window. House is well-appointed and well-located within area with access to restaurants and shops in Clinton, Madison, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, etc.

Thanksgiving stay

Very cute house. Probably bright and cheerful during summer months but rather dark during our stay. A lamp in one bedroom was broken, while a reading light in smaller bedroom would have been nice.

Perfect!

This was a perfect location for our young family of 5. Very kid friendly, clean and beautiful home. We were in town for a funeral and local motels/hotels just didn’t have the options we needed. Our kids loved the house and our whole family hopes to return for another visit.

Beach Getaway

Our stay at Kates property was wonderful. The house is exactly as described in the positing and the beach is stunning. The house is very well thought out with everything we needed. Comfortable rooms, large beds, well stocked kitchen, updated bathroom, great fire pit (solo stove), and plenty of beach essentials like chairs and toys. Kate is very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in great location. Worked perfectly for our family. House was in amazing shape, outdoor patio was awesome! As prior reviews have said, make sure you have water shoes, the water for the first 5-10 ft is very rocky. But overall everything was amazing

Great for Our Family

Everything is as advertised. Very very clean house that's actually on the water. It was easy to supervise our kids on the beach so we could relax. I thought it was going to be rockier on the beach and it was really a good mix of sand and pebbles. Bring water shoes and you have a great, safe area to swim. Any beach neighbors that we had shared the beach wonderfly. You could spend each day at the beach in the backyard but we took a trip to nearby Hammonasset Beach State Park that had a great swim and nature area for only 15 to park. Plenty of space and bathrooms there too and a couple places to get food. The house allowed for the 5 of us to spread out nicely, all the kitchen stuff you need, and a nice Weber grill. Everything was clean and the shower made it easy to rinse off the sand whenever we needed to.

Great little beach house

My family and I had a great stay. The house is very cute and comfortable. Great access to a nice private beach right out of your door. All of the neighbors were very kind and friendly. Katelyn was amazing. She was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The area is amazing. There are so many beautiful towns to explore and so much to do. I definitely would recommend. Thank you!

Relaxing beach vacation

Perfect little house right on the beach! Updated and clean. Although the neighbors are very close, all were quite pleasant. House was well equipped with everything you could need. AC units were only upstairs, and one of the units stopped working 4 days into our vacation (I think it was overworked due to the heat wave!), but the unit in one of the bedroom hung in there thankfully! Overall a lovely home in a lovely neighborhood directly on the beach - wonderful!

Can't Wait To Go Back!

My husband I stayed for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! The house is perfect for a couple or small group to relax, well set up for children, and the location can't be beat! We had some mixed weather but even on the rainy days there is a beautiful view of the sound and plenty of amenities to relax inside while listening to the waves. At 6 1/2 months pregnant I loved that everything was so clean and the beach was relatively private. So we also felt very safe, which was extremely important to us at this point. We will definitively be back with our little one!
