Nice quiet home all to yourself! Centrally Located

I am a travel nurse who is looking to help other travel professionals! With that being said, I am slightly germ-a- phob...so no shoes or inside pets allowed. People from all backgrounds are welcomed in my quite & friendly home!

This private home is located in a great Winston Salem neighborhood. It is professionally decorated with an modern touch. From the covered front porch, you will walk into the spacious living room and around to the dining area which opens to the kitchen. The dining room boast a nice 4 top table and access to the deck through the french doors. The kitchen includes all new appliances, refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a center island. It also has a 2 sit breakfast table. There is a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and all utensils available as well. There is a array of seasonings and herbs in the pantry. Please note there is a half bath on the bottom level not pictured.

The master bedroom includes a pillow top Queen size bed, smart television, in suite bathroom with walk-in closet. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed/tv with a slightly firmer mattress and also has a closet. The 3rd bedroom includes an Ultra Plush Inflatable Pillow Top Bed Air Mattress with Headboard, Built-in Internal Electric Pump. We provide 100% Egyptian cotton sheets for every bed. The TVs include a digital antenna which provide local channels. There is also a firestick in the home. The smart TV in the master BR allows access to HULU and NETFLIX. There is a total of 3 TVs in the home. There is a separate laundry room with a washer, dryer, detergent and a door that may be closed to minimize noise.

There is also a deck attached to the back of the home for a quite space to read and relax.

Sorry no garage access but there is plenty of free parking in the driveway.

My space is very safe. There are cameras at the front and back doors for our safety. Retired police officer and preacher & wife are my neighbors to the left and right. Please respect the neighbors. I am also very close to a fire station and a police station. Yes! Safety matters :)

Please consider my place. I'm sure you will find it nice, clean, warm and safe!

The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We did have a minor issue with missing kitchen knives, and other cooking utensils, but the host got some to us quickly.

Just for sleeping

Stayed here as this was right around the corner from my nieces house where all the family fun was taking place. Worked out perfectly to be 4 tenths of a mile away. We only slept there. It was clean and comfortable.

Vaca home with great location close to WS / GRB area attractions.

Lots of room for a family of 6 . Nice and clean home. Well stocked. Back yard area for kids to play. Little issues were dealt with in a timely manner. For sure would want to stay here again when we return to visit grandkids that live near by.

NICE GOOD SIZE HOME THAT WAS NEAT AND CLEAN OVERALL. THE BIGGEST DOWNFALL THAT IT IS ON A BUSY STREET AND LOTS OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES AND HEAVY FOOTED DRIVERS RACING BY AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT BUT OVERALL A VERY NICE PLACE!

Cute and Convenient

Our stay was enjoyable and we did not experience any issues. I would make a couple of recommendations: 1. Check the shower in the master bedroom; low pressure and one nozzle does not work at all. 2. Leave more than 3 rolls of tp! With 5 women, it was challenging and I actually had to buy tp, Also, a better quality of tp is recommended. What's used is so thin that more than the normal amount had to be used. 3. Leave an extra roll of paper towel. We ran out of the one roll that was there and I had to buy additional paper towel.

Great home away from home

Staying at Deirdre's felt like a home away from home. We are NYC folk who live in an apartment and this place had our 5 -year-old asking about getting a "real home." It was so easy to check in Deirdre simply gave us the code to the door, and we were in!- Great as we arrived late at night. We did secure front and back doors with a chair at night, as there's no door chair on similar once you're inside. One of my favorite parts was the lovely deck in the back and our kids enjoyed going in and out (and in and out) and into the nice-sized and flat back yard. I know the area and we picked it for its proximity to my parents' home- it's also about a 12 minute drive to the main drag in Kernersville with several fast and casual restaurants, grocery stores, Walmart, etc. This would be a very easy place for an extended stay, and if camp wasn't calling, we would've been tempted to extend. Deirdre was very responsive to some very small issues including the fact that we could never quite get the Firestick in the living room to work for us. But we were out and about having fun and mostly saved TV for enjoying shows after our littles were asleep on the massive Master Bedroom TV. With a giant TV and soaker Tub, the master suite almost has a relaxing baby/honeymoon vibe to it. We hope to return and stay in the house again!

What stay?

We attempted to rent this house to attend a family function nearby. We needed a house big enough for 6 adults. After communicating with the host and meeting her requirements, we moved forward with the reservation and she took our money. During the ensuing weeks, VRBO contacted us multiple times confirming the reservation. We were supposed to receive access codes, etc, on the day of check in. Check in was at 3:30 As we were driving the 6 hours it took us to get there, I kept checking for check in information. Finally, after 4:00 pm, I tried to contact the host to ask how we could gain access to the property. After driving 6 hours, and an hour after the earliest allowed check in time, we received a notice that our reservation had been cancelled and our payment refunded. I can understand circumstances arising that could Make renting the property unrentable, but to receive multiple confirmations that the reservation was complete and our funds deposited, and then to be canceled after a 6 hour drive is inexcusable. Terms were agreed to, money changed hands, and the reservation confirmed only to be cancelled at the latest possible moment is totally unprofessional. Obviously, we will not attempt to rent from this host again.

Wake Forest Graduation.

We came in for the Wake forest graduation and this was a bit far away from most things but the house was immaculate and comfortable and we would stay there again.

Beautiful and comfortable

This property was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. Myself, my adult daughter, my sister and 3 friends (all females). Very clean, beautifully decorated, great location. The host was very polite and prompt whenever we reached out with any questions or concerns. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again n highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in this area.

Big and clean

The pictures didn’t do this place justice. The house is a lot bigger than the pictures show. The owner was really nice and responsive. She answered any question I had right away. The next time we’re back in the area, we will rent the house again.

Everything as advertised

My family and I came for a family celebration of our brother's homegoing. The house was very inviting and very clean as advertised. The owner was responsive when contacted. Sorry the weather didn't allow us to take advantage of outdoor deck. I will keep this as a "favorite" and recommend it to others visiting and wanting a home away from home. Thanks Deirdra
