Come to RELAX and PLAY at our BIG PINE RETREAT!

RELAX in our three story 4-bedroom/3-bathroom villa with beautiful views of Wynne Lake. Featuring two spacious bedrooms, living room with 2 story field stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, expansive deck and 3/4 bathroom on the main level. Upstairs you’ll find a large loft with a bedroom and 3/4 bathroom. In the lower lever find a walk-out basement with second living room, game table, bar area, gas fireplace, patio, large bedroom and full bathroom with jetted tub. Accommodation also include a washer and dryer.

PLAY in the heart of the Giants Ridge Recreational area.
Enjoy all the activities you can handle, literally right outside your door! One of the premier downhill ski slopes in Minnesota, Giants Ridge, is right across the street. Miles and miles of groomed cross-country ski and bike trails start out our front door. Spend the day on the lake, boating and fishing. Or test your skill on two of Minnesota’s best golf courses, the renowned Quarry and Legends Golf Courses. Take the paddle boards or kayaks out on the lake, play a game of tennis and pickle ball, or go for a swim in the outdoor pool and hot tub. There is always something to do all year round at the Villa. At the end of a day filled with adventure and fun relax back at the Villa with a movie (cable and WIFI included), unwind on the deck overlooking the lake or make an appointment at the Aveda Spa in the lodge for a manicure or massage.

Nice place for two families!

Right over the lake and close to shops, restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay! We did wish there was a private grill and a bit more everyday items available throughout our stay. A handful of items were broken or on their last leg, I’m sure on the list to update.

Golf Trip

2nd visit (stayed in 2023).very nice property, clean, well stocked with essentials,. Mechanically and electricallyall the entities worked. Outdoor barbecue situation old original "park like grill" could stand replacement with a more modern propane style setup. Note: it appears all nearby villas currently have same setup and maybe due to being a part of a maintenance "association", these type of things are budgeted down the line possibly.*New maintenance free decking, posts and deck furniture were an upgrade this year. Overall, great place!

Nice home

The home is cozy and nice but the description says there’s a hot tub and pool. We rented the home BECAUSE of the hot tub. What the description failed to mention is that both the pool and hot tub are closed in the winter. I can understand the pool - but hot tubs closed in the winter at a SKI RESORT??? We were extremely disappointed. However, our host was attentive when needed, the home has many pluses (kitchen has almost every utensil needed) the beds were comfortable, it was clean and it was across the street from the skiing! The refrigerator does not produce ice or water even though there are both on the door. It was a tight squeeze for 8 adults in the home and the kitchen lacks lighting. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Great for family ski weekend

Very nice and attentive hosts. Bathrooms very clean. Kitchen was better stocked than renting through giants ridge proper (ie coffee filters, spices, basics etc). A little smaller than other style of the 4 bedroom villas we've stayed at; very comfortable for 8-10.

A great place to stay

This home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We had a group of adults and there was so much to do right on the property we rarely left. We used the pool, hot tub and tennis courts that were set up as pickle ball courts so we played that a lot. The lake was right out the back door and a nice view. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck. The Only thing that was a little tough was the loft bedroom is open to the living room and kitchen areas so if anyone was there, it was loud and lights shine in. After telling everyone to go downstairs, it wasn't an issue and the downstairs area was great with couches, tables for playing games, etc.

Disappointed

We were so excited to stay at this cabin due to its past stellar reviews! However, we were really disappointed. There were no sheets on the loft bed when we arrived, which wasn’t a huge deal. We found the sheets in the dryer. The owners need to remove the rusted patio table and chairs from the deck. We also found out that renting from all of the other owners at this resort includes free canoe/kayak/paddle board rental, but this cabin’s owner did not participate in that program. However, the very most disappointing part of this stay was the jacuzzi tub. We couldn’t use the jacuzzi tub at all because the jets are DISGUSTING and FULL OF MOLD! Other than the minor issues listed above, (along with the major bathtub cleanliness issue) this is a nice cabin on a serene lake.

Good value

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend golf trip. Our group actually rented two villas and we ended up mostly hanging out at the other villa (because that's where all the food and drinks were. Ha!). This villa was in good shape and had plenty of comfortable furniture and room to hang out. Since we were able to compare the two villas, this one could use a little updating, but it was also quite a bit cheaper than our other villa, so it was a very good value and we were happy with it. The owner was very responsive and everything went smooth for the weekend. We would book again!

Delightful Stay
