Internet, large deck overlooking lake, patio in back gets morning sun, shared, private dock across gravel road, fenced back yard, gas grill, fire pit, sleeps 6, gorgeous sunset views!

Downtown Maple Lake has Kings 46 a beautiful vintage style wine bar and Irish Blessing coffee house. Nearby Buffalo offers a walkable scenic downtown and lake walk with park and splash pad. Exactly what we were expecting, conveniently located between Maple Lake and Buffalo. Hosts were there if needed and so accommodating!! The fenced in area for our dog was wonderful. We were only there for a few days and wished there were a couple more.

Great 3 day weekend getaway!

We had a group of 6 stay for a 3 day weekend. The lake is great and it’s a simple to walk from the cabin across a small mostly quiet gravel road to the personal dock. Loved having the dock to leave our pontoon at all weekend! Its a small but very cozy cabin with all the basic amenities. The host was very helpful and responsive when we had a couple questions. Would definitely consider another trip at the same place!

Very relaxing property.

We liked the location and thought Maria and Mark to be very friendly snd helpful. The set up is great for parents with kids or grandparents with grandkids. Would be a great place for a ladies weekend!

Great cabin. Lovely lake.

Stayed for a weekend. Small no fuss cabin with a great set up. Large deck. Kitchen had all the things. Grill. Fenced in yard, great for dogs and young kids. Lake is just down some steps. Great fishing off the dock. Swam in the lake. Rented pontoon for the day from owners just down the block. Had a great time. Cabin had lots of ceiling fans and an ac unit that worked great. Close to a cute town. Plenty of places for people to sleep. Nice for a family not a ton of private spaces. Worked great for us. Deck was the best. Lots of seating. Sun and shade and beautiful view of a loon family on the lake.

Cabin is not on the lake.

The cabin is across the street from the lake. Photos are a bit misleading. Deck furniture needs to be upgraded. There is a high top wood table and chairs that we refused to sit at. Desperately need to be painted or replaced.

Serene lakefront cabin

Mark and Maria provided a perfect getaway for our family and friends. The view of Maple Lake is gorgeous and the downhill walk to the dock was manageable, even for my torn miniscus. We brought 3 kayaks and an SUP for 4 people, and Mark loaned us a personal kayak so we could all be more comfortable on the water. The kitchen was well-equipped. My friends' exact quote: "They literally have everything!". The dining room table sat 8 comfortably when we had guests come over for dinner, and the gas grill is huge. We made 15 burgers at once. The beds were decent for a cabin. Although we never had more than 4 sleeping on a night, there was certainly room for more, and the dogs had plenty of space to settle in comfortably on the couch, which is covered with a blanket. That helped me feel less guilty about the shedding. The best part of the trip was the lake. We spent the majority of our time either in the water, on the dock, or on the deck overlooking the lake. There was minimal traffic on the road between the house and the lake, and as I mentioned before, the stairs down were easy to manage for my town miniscus. The only caution I would put out here is bring drinking water if you don't tolerate well water, and there are some plants in the fenced in yard that are not dog-friendly. As log as you pay attention to your dogs while they are doing their business, everything should be fine. 100 percent will be renting again. Such a lovely, peaceful week for my family and friends. Thank you Mark and Maria!

Gorgeous lake views and fenced-in yard for pups

My husband and I had a fabulous 4-day anniversary getaway with our 2 beagles. The cabin is really cute and private (esp compared to where we live!) and under an hour drive from the cities. We spent most of our time just chilling on the big front deck with great lake views: enjoyed coffee out there, breakfast, mimosas, dinner, played with the dogs, and I spent some alone time unwinding with a coloring book at the tall table (lots of seating options!) It was amazing to be able to let the dogs outside in a fenced yard on vacation. The deck connects to the yard (with a latched gate), so you can let them out from the deck or the back door with ease. If you have tiny dogs, I’d bring something to block the gap under the back gate. The cabin has all the cooking amenities and dishes you could need, and a nice big kitchen table. We stayed in and cooked each night. The lake was nice and quiet on weekdays, but we were told it’s much more lively on weekends. Be sure to go down to the dock for the great sunsets! There’s an anchored Aqua Lily Pad floating right by the dock we didn’t try out (it’s late Sept-too chilly). We borrowed kayaks from our host and cruised to the beach on the left side of the lake and were lucky enough to see the local pair of loons! The lake is really clean, shallow on the edges, and has deep spots for good fishing. There’s a huge fire pit and we brought our own firewood, but didn’t have to since they had a ton. I’d recommend bringing folding camp chairs for the fire–we had to borrow some. And bring binoculars for the great bird-watching! I appreciated the heads-up from another reviewer about the drinking water–there’s a Brita pitcher, but we were happy we brought a 2.5 gal water jug. The main bed was a little uncomfortable, but we got by. The owners live next door and are available if you need anything by text. Don’t worry, they are the opposite of intrusive–we didn’t even meet Maria until our 3rd day, and she’s awesome. Everything was great and we plan to stay again!

Lake getaway

This was a nice getaway from the cities for a few days. Although it rained the whole time it was very relaxing and had a nice fenced yard for our dogs! Thanks for letting us stay it was a pleasure!

Great Location

My family of five- husband and 3 adult children, stayed over Fourth of July weekend. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly. There is a fenced yard connected to the deck, worked out great for our two small dogs. The town of buffalo is so close and has everything you would ever need. We even visited a fun antique store in town . Great access from the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Room to sit

What a wonderful experience. Pleasant, peaceful and quiet. We had 9 people at one time in the cabin. It was amazing that we all were able to sit , converse and relax comfortably.

Great dog friendly cabin right on the lake.

My wife and I brought our 2 dogs to this cabin right on Maple Lake and had a great time. Lots of activities and dining within a 15 minute drive. Hosts checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. I recommend bringing drinking water and give a little time between showers. They have nice touches inside like games and a smart tv. Even the AC worked great!
