267 Palisades Drive is in the high-end Palisades neighborhood of Kirkwood. Our home is conveniently located between the two express lifts (Chair 6 & 7) for easy access to skiing. Our custom-built home has the finest materials and significant douglas fir timbers throughout. Our guess love to ski home for a homemade lunch and then get right back after it. The house is designed to allow maximum sunlight and views of Red Cliffs. This singe-family home can accommodate multiple families and friends. You will enjoy easy access to skiing, dining, hiking, biking and other year-round activities.

This 3,600 square foot home has all the amenities you need. The beautiful custom kitchen has granite counter tops, 6-person island seating, custom cabinets, Thermador range and 2 Bosch dishwashers. The home has 6 bedrooms: two master suites, two bunk rooms (with 3 bunk beds in each)and two additional bedrooms (one with a queen and the other a king). There are 4 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. 2 south facing decks with a gas grill. 2nd refrigerator in laundry room. High-speed DSL and Wifi on all 3 floors. Top of the line AV system: 2 flat panel TVs each with 5 speaker surround sound, built in sub-woofers, HD, DVR, iPod docks and Blueray DVDs. Radiant heat with each room on its own thermostat.

Skiers will love the custom designed ski room with a 30 pair boot/snow rack. Kirkwood Ski Resort often records the most snowfall of any resort in North America.

Upstairs over the garage: 2 bedrooms w/ King Beds and each bedroom has their own bathroom.
Upstairs on the right side of the house: 1 bedroom with a queen and a bunk room with 3 bunk beds. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom.
Downstairs one bedroom with a king and a bunk room with 3 bunk beds. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom.
In the downstairs family room.

Great, spacious cabin

I've stayed at this cabin for several years now with a group of friends. Excellent house with everything you need and plenty of space. The location is great, close to many lakes, hiking, and more.

The Palisades Home was ideally located for a September wedding in the Kirkwood Meadows and reception at the Lodge. During our stay we were able to hike Emigrant Trail to Emigrant Lake; and get in some fly fishing on the Carson River

Beautiful house

This was a great quick stay while we endeavored on some of the near by trails. We were a small group and enjoyed all the space, but this would also be a perfect space for a big group.

Very nice cabin in Kirkwood

We enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great location near several lakes and everything we needed was available. The house was clean and in good order when we arrived.

Perfect place to enjoy Kirkwood

We've spent a wonderful time opening ski season here with our friends. This house is very cosy, spacious and well equipped. Location is perfect to get on the mountain and back, kids enjoyed playing inside and outside, we'll definitely would like to come back!

Overall very happy with our stay. Spacious and roomy. Was kind of hot at times in the rooms. No fans. Property owner quickly responsive. Great stay and great views in the home.

A Dream Home for our family reunion

This home was a perfect place for our family reunion. 19 people all enjoyed having a comfortable bed to sleep in. There was plenty of space for everyone. The home was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans you could need. The towels and linens were plentiful. Everyone in our group loved the house, and hope to come back again!

Great Vacation with Family

We spent six days at this homeā€”excellent accommodation for our group. Our only concerns were that some of the bedrooms and bathrooms had cobwebs hanging from ceilings and windows (inside and out). The non-stick cookware is old, and the non-stick surface is scratched. I would not cook on any of those skillets or pots. Maybe the owner could replace them? The hair dryers in one of the master bedrooms did not work. My family and I would stay at this location again. Maybe next time during the winter season!

Family Reunion

The property was perfect for 7 adults and 5 kids ages 10 to 16 months. Liots of bedrooms to chose from and an apartment type area downstairs. Lots of seating for eating. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great group getaway

The house was well appointed and had plenty of beds for our 4 families. Radiant heat, and constant hot water make for easy end to a king ski day with family. We look forward to coming back next year!

Family reunion ended in a babymoon

My husband and I were going to have a family reunion with our five children and their families. Unfortunately, my husband ended up in the hospital due to heart problems. My youngest daughter, who is pregnant with her first baby, decided to have a ā€œbabymoonā€ with her husband. They both could not believe how beautiful the home and area was. She was constantly sending us photos! Everything was perfect!!!

Great Location and Place to Stay

Great view of the mountains. The house is very spacious. The minor issues were the remote controls to the TV/Amp may need new batteries and the bathrooms don't have vents (need to open the window or have fabreeze ready :))

Enjoyed a white christmas with family in the perfect house!

Three brothers, their wives, parents, 3 grandparents and 6 children ages 6-21, all packed up in 4 cars, Christmas presents loaded and headed up to Kirkwood for a white Christmas. We parked two cars in the garage, and two on the driveway and rarely had to use 1 of the cars.The house did not disappoint. It was big enough for all of us and the two gathering rooms meant the kids could hang out in the lower level and the parents on the main level. The ski in ski out was so much better than driving or shuttling to the slopes! Especially with the little ones who do not like to carry their skis very far. The kitchen was fully stocked. Some of the pans were a bit worn out, but we always found the right pot for our needs. It was so nice to have two master bedrooms as well as two bunk rooms. We had a great time and highly recommend this house for large families.

Beautiful cabin in the woods
