Welcome to your private getaway in the middle of Vermont’s most active recreational region. Skiing, mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, equestrian sports – it’s all just minutes away!

This spacious four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment sleeps 12 and features a fully functional wood stove and a luxury private hot tub (6 person). It is set on a quiet, wooded hillside conveniently located directly off Route 4 and only one mile from the Killington Skyeship Gondola, which transports you to the main mountain.

The house is one minute from the Skyeship Gondola and minutes from the Killington access road. Perfect if you want to avoid the morning traffic! You are also only 20 minutes to Okemo and centrally located to multiple other mountains (1 hour to Sugarbush, 1.5 to Stowe, 1.5 to Mt. Snow), so serious skiers can take advantage of all the diverse slopes Vermont has to offer. The charming town of Woodstock is less than 20 minutes away.

This place looks exactly like the pictures online. Very cute and well decorated without being cluttered. My 79 year old mom appreciated the tall toilets in the bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and silverware as well as cookware. Beds were comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub. Having a washer and dryer was a great luxury! The mountain location is scenic and quiet. If you book this place, just be sure to bring laundry and dish pods as well as coffee pods for the Keurig.

Annual Ski Trip

With a seamless check in and it’s cozy New England feel, Skyeship House instantly made our group feel right at home. The hot tub was nothing short of glorious after a long day of skiing at Killington (a less than 5 minutes drive up the road). Our host was very professional when they needed to contact us for parking arrangements. The accommodations made our trip unforgettable, and I’d highly recommend booking here if you’re looking for a mountain getaway.

Adorable house for large family stay

Loved the details of the house - fresh flowers on the first day, the towels were super nice, there were spices for us to use! The location is great we visited Killington a lot but also went to Woodstock. And the hot tub was a hit. Great house for a large group, we were 9.

Great location perfect ski rental

Location couldn't be better. 2 minutes to Skyship gondala parking lot. House worked great for our big family of 11. Owner was responsive and check-in & checkout was easy. Definitely will be back.

Great house for our stay

This house was perfect for our stay. We came down and competed in the Spartan Race in Killington. When we got back the the house it was clean and ready for us. The hot tub was much needed. The rooms were nice with plenty of places to sleep (Groups). The communication with the owner was excellent.

Good ski getaway option

We enjoyed our holiday at the Skyeship house. Beds were comfy and the house was warm and spacious. Whilst the house and its furniture, fixtures and decor are dated, the hot tub is new and a great bonus. Stephen is a responsive and helpful communicator and we felt the description and photos accurately show what you can expect. It’s not luxury but it’s a good bolthole after a day on the mountain!

Rough stay

This property is old and the interior is the same. The room with three beds had no heat and was unbearably cold. There was very little hot water so our party of 10 mostly took freezing cold showers. One of the two showers backed up and didn’t drain so we couldn’t even use it. It is close to the mountain which is why we chose to stay there but it was not a pleasant experience.

Skyship gondola home

This location is so very close to the skyship gondola, which is the bottom most lift. It’s actually a great spot because you can do the peak to creek run (the great eastern) as a day ender and basically end up walking distance from the home! Overall, the place was big enough to fit all 6 of us very comfortably with plenty of space to get ready and move about. The kitchen was well equipped with all the cookware you can imagine and some. Also, not to mention the HOT TUB!! There were 2, but we only used the one on the deck. It was big enough for all of us, and super clean! If you are coming to visit Killington, you can go wrong with this spot. The host, Stephen, was quick to respond to us through the app which was very appreciative. 10/10!!

Not worth the price

Location was pretty good. Just uncomfortable and very outdated. Drawers stuck, cabinets didn’t close. Closets were full of stuff so you couldn’t hang clothes up. Bears tore up garbage and it was just left all week. Grass and weeds were overgrown, no propane for the fireplace. Air conditioning in two bedrooms only. The living room got very warm. The cover to the hot tub was so hard to open and close that we stopped using it. The grill was left dirty. Just little things but we’ve paid a lot less for so much more. So a little disappointed.

Property was misrepresented in the VRBO discription.

We showed up to the property and had a hard time getting the code to work. Walked around to the other door and it was left unlocked deck was in poor condition and siding missing on the outside of the home. I stepped into the living room and the floors sloped about 6-8 inches from one side of the room to the other side. Kitchen was dirty as well as all the floors. The pictures do not represent the property in the correct way. We called the manager immediately and let him know we could not stay here do to the condition of the place. He stated he would give us a full refund but after following up with him said it needed to be done through VRBO and was on the phone 45 minutes waiting for someone to pick up and then it just hung up. Still trying to get through. We would not recommend booking this property.

Very nice property

Perfect location for Killington ski vacation. Property is clean and the host is very nice. We have two families - 4 adults 4 kids. The property has board games that the kids can play. Kitchen is cozy but it has everything we need. Highly recommended!

Annual Ski Trip

My coworkers and I have been doing an annual ski trip for at killington for 5 years now. This has been the best house we’ve stayed in so far. Comfortably sleeping a group of 11 the photos did not do the size of the rooms justice. The owner was very responsive and attentive with any questions the group had. The home was well stocked with towels, games, and kitchenware. Overall the location was idea for Killington you are right around the corner from the skyeship lift. Will look into staying here again in the future.

Great stay!!

Stephen’s place was great for our group of 6! We’d recommend to anyone. Stephen himself was extremely accessible and communicative throughout the entire process (before we arrived, checking in, and throughout the entire stay). He was also very flexible with us, including when we asked to bring our small dog. Some of our favorite parts included soaking in the hot tub after long day of skiing or sitting in the living room by the heat of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again (already planning to come back!)

Spectacular vacation

just spent the week at the house. We LOVED it. Stephen was available if we needed him but left us to our privacy the rest of the time. This would be the perfect house for a group getaway base for skiing. The house is imperfect (as almost all older homes are) but it was spotlessly clean and well worth the cost. 5 Stars all around Highly Recommended!
