Ok, but overpriced for amenities and services provided.

The view from the deck is beautiful, but the condo is average. The lack of amenities and services was disappointing. There were no cushions on the metal chairs on the deck (as pictured) making it uncomfortable to sit. The air conditioner compressor on the deck (next to the bedroom) was very loud, making it hard to sleep and difficult to have conversations. There was a tv in each bedroom but only one had cable/streaming. There were NO blankets except bedspreads on the beds. No extra towels, so laundry needed to be done daily. We had to provide dish & dishwasher soap, laundry soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, and Kleenex. We could not set up beach chairs or umbrellas on the beach directly in front of the complex because that area was contracted to a company that rents chairs and umbrellas (charging more than $300 per week for a family of four). There was no one on premise to assist with problems. The first morning I could not walk the beach to see the sunrise because the gate to the pool - which leads to the boardwalk to the beach - was locked. The agency was not familiar with the property, so the service rep just read the same inaccurate information that was printed on our instructions. Also, they allowed no late checkout when our flight was delayed. The lack of service was especially disappointing since the cost of the condo was raised approximately 30% to cover services for two rental agencies. We will use VRBO again, but we will not return to this complex.

Our stay at Ocean Breeze West

Everything was great until the workers came and cut out half of the parking lot. They started work on the roof and covered the swimming pool. We had no parking pass and got a warning for parking there. I called the Southern Vacation Rentals and had a parking pass within the hour. I really appreciate them for helping me out there.The Condo was as advertised and we had a wonderful time on our visit otherwise. Thank you!

Great Location, Place needs updating

Location is great, beach is not as populated. There were a few disappointing things that could have been better: AC compressor is on the patio. Its loud, runs all the time, and remember these units pull heat from your unit, and push it out on the patio. Patio is already hot in summer, this makes it hotter. Terrible design. All pictures of this complex, they hide this AC compressor. Only units at the top have their AC Compressor on the roof. No BBQ grills on property at all No ceiling fans in any of the rooms. Air flow from the AC was minimal as only one small vent in each room. A lack of fans did not move air around. Very hot to sleep at night. We found a box fan and put in the kids room. All rooms have their electricity controlled by the light switch on the wall. Remember, there are no ceiling fixtures, so all outlets require the switches to be turned on. Dishware was minimal. Did not have an oven mitt. Appliances are minimal. Dishwasher did not clean dishes each time it was run. The gate used to enter the beach required a code and doesn't open easily. Makes going to the beach with carried items aggravating. Parking is a small lot. Full size trucks have difficulty moving around. Some of these conveniences could be improved for a more pleasurable stay. AC Compressor on patio is enough for me not to stay here again.

Excellent property

Great accommodations with family friendly atmosphere around property amenities. Condo is literally steps from the beach and water. Will be back. Hosts were easily available through text and were super hospitable to our requests.

Great veiw

Plenty of parking and room on the beach. Great veiw from the deck. Open beach to the west for long walks and seashell hunting.

This property is clean, quiet, and in the perfect location (close enough to things to do without all touristy feel). The beach and pool were easily accessible and never crowded.

wonderful stay

we had a wonderful time with our family - nice accomdationg were important as the weather didn't cooperate. we couldn't find a grill to use which I believe was advertised a shared agrilling area. would definately recommend and stay again Benoit Family

Comfortable stay overall

Overall, we had a good experience staying at this condo. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Our only complaints were the fruit flies and a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, upon our arrival. We also discovered cockroaches on the balcony during our stay. Other than that, the condo was clean and comfortable.

Excellent getaway

The condo was very clean. It could’ve used a few more supplies such as toilet paper and trash bags. There was only one wash rag per person, but there was a washing machine so we made it work. The beach was not crowded and very clean. It’s right between Pensacola Beach and Gulf Shores, so it’s just a short drive to lots of restaurants and activities.

Great condo

I have to start by saying that the master bedroom mattress is AMAZING. I have terrible back and neck issues. I always bring my specialty pillow on vacation and always have a terrible time sleeping. Not in this bed. I actually slept well and woke up feeling decent. The condo is roomy. The kitchen pots and pans are definitely worn. It was not a big deal, but time to restock. 2nd floor condo offers the perfect view. Just high enough to see over the dunes. In unit washer and dryer is also a nice thing to have. The beach was never crowded. The construction next door was no big deal at all. The unit seemed to be pretty sound proof. I never once heard either neighbor the entire week. The only cleaning issue I had was the small rubber bands from domes braces all over the unit. I tried to vacuum them up but the vacuum cleaner was stuck on “high carpet” and would not pickup anything from the tile floors. It wasn’t big enough deal for me to call anyone, but the cleaning could have been better. The rest of the condo was cleaned very well. Maybe they used the same vacuum that was in the condo. Vacation went great. I would recommend this condo. I’m still amazed at the comfort of the bed!!! Best sleeping bed from any of my last 20 years of vacations.

Great location, but construction next door.

The property overall was great; it was as described with a great view and close to shops/restaurants in Perdido Key and Orange Beach. The property is close to the beach with private access. There is a large condo being constructed right next door and the noise wasn't bad, but could be distracting at times. The property was clean but the furniture was a bit worn. Our family enjoyed our short vacation here.

Great first family trip

The location was perfect and we loved the Perdido Key area. It was very laid back and not too many people everywhere! The view and access to the beach was great and the condo was just as advertised! We would definitely stay here again in the future!!
