Enjoy watching the sunset from the shoreline deck, the seasonal dock, the large house deck or any of the big water-view widows. You can also paddle the beautiful coastline with the 2 kayaks we provide with this property.

Located just south of Egg Harbor and just north of Sturgeon Bay, you are in the the perfect location to enjoy all that Door County has to offer. When you're tired of water and sunsets, The Stone Duck is across the street from the Bayshore Blufflands State Natural Area where you can enjoy nature walks and see the Niagara Escarpment (rocky bluffs formed from glaciers millions of years ago). We are short drive north to Murphy Park, a water front park with a sand beach and boat launch. Enjoy easy access to Egg Harbor and Sturgeon Bay for amazing restaurants and shopping. And no need to bring groceries with you, we are located a short drive to Walmart and Target in Sturgeon Bay.

The Stone Duck has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The second floor features 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed and the second with two sets of bunk beds) and a full bath with tub. The main level has a large fully stocked kitchen including dishwasher and a dining table that seats 8. A living room with TV (with Roku stick for streaming shows and movies), sofa, love seat, comfy chair and puzzle/gaming table. One bedroom with a king bed. A full bathroom with a large standup shower. Step out the of the sliding glass door to the large deck with patio dining table and chairs, or relax on the outdoor love seat and chairs. If that's not enough, then walk down to the chairs on the water-side deck or enjoying roasting s'mores around the fire pit. Gas and charcoal grill are provided for all your BBQ needs. There is also a seasonal dock with a large area for sitting or for access to the water via the ladder (the dock is put in around June and taken out in September).

We do allow you to bring your well-behaved dog for a $25 per night fee. Please don't forget to include your dog when booking. We do ask that you leash your dog when outside.

Internet/WiFi - We have Starlink internet that provides fast, reliable internet speeds. It can on occasion get slowed down during bad storms, but this is pretty rare. We have also installed a cell phone booster that boosts the signal of cell service providers. It helps with our Verizon service, but unsure of the results on other carriers.

During peak season this property books Saturday to Saturday and has a 3-day minimum during off-peak season. The house sleeps 8 people (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds).

Cancellations - Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel after that point, they will not get a refund. However; if they cancel less than 60 days, we will make every good faith effort to re-rent the House for the same period and rental amount, and if successful, the entire rental amount will be returned minus a $100 service charge.

Note - we do have a video doorbell for security purposes.
