Located in a family, friendly residential neighborhood that's ideal for those interested in relaxing, shopping, dining, beach and/or water sports. Enjoy the private salt water heated pool and landscaped grounds or venture off to Fort Lauderdale's famed beaches. We provide 6 beach chairs, beach umbrella and towels. Scuba or snorkel less than 3 miles away at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea with a living coral reef, straight off of the beach. Kitchen is fully equipped, there is an outdoor BBQ grill, choose to eat indoor or picnic under the pergola. Relax and enjoy on the front porch, back porch or poolside. Plenty of restaurants, breweries and night life entertainment close by, as well as art galleries, Wilton Manors, and River Walk/Las Olas Blvd. Fort Lauderdale Int'l Airport (FLL) is 10 miles away.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
*Minimum Age requirement to rent this property is 30 years old.

*Complimentary WiFi, with Eeros WiFi extender.

*Three smart TV's located in living room, laundry/extra room and Master bedroom with DIRECTV STREAM capability.

*Pool is heated during the cooler months (Nov-Apr) between 83° to 88°. Heater runs only when the pool pump runs, from early morning to late evening. Overnight it will lose some heat and will take a few hours in the morning to adjust.

*Guests are responsible for adhering to proper garbage routines, including sorting and rolling garbage & recycling bins to and from the curb.

*City noise ordinance is strictly enforced, quiet time between 10pm-7am, parties are NOT permitted.

*Security Camera: There is a Ring camera doorbell at the front of the house facing the street that will remain on. All other internal/external cameras will be removed.

Oakland Park 2025

Another wonderful stay here! This time for 5 weeks. Entire property was in excellent shape-clean, modern, working order. All as advertised. Our stay-over guests had a great time too.

Beautiful house in a very convenient area!

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family trip! We loved the house, the neighborhood and the convenient access to lots of different beached and the highway. We took lots of fun day trips to the Everglades, Flamingo Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, and Miami. Thanks for the great stay!!

Quiet Oasis Getaway

This property was exactly as advertised and the reviews were reliable. It was clean, well appointed, and the outdoor space was excellent!!! The location is close to the beach and major highways! Overall, we highly recommend this property! The owners were easy to communicate with and made everything quite convenient for us!!! We will be back for sure!!!

4th time here!

This is the 4th time staying on this property, and each time we leave satisfied. Everything is accurate in the listing, the neighborhood is very quiet. Close to highway, and within 15-20 min of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The pool is always heated when we come down in Dec and have always used the pool each time we come down. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your place once again!

A great Florida vacation

We had a very satisfying 4 weeks at this home. The owners were fully engaged and responsive. The house was in move in condition and fully appointed. The backyard was perfect and private. Good neighborhood and close shopping, eating and beach. We are going back next year!

Great property!

Great house and property, very clean. I enjoyed my stay here. The pool was really nice and water temp was great, too. The house had all of my basic needs, kitchen was fully stocked. The furniture throughout looked new. Easy to get to the beach and restaurants, which are close by and the closest grocery store was half a mile away. The owners were very pleasant to book with, I would definitely book this property again.

Second year renting here. Another great four weeks! Five stars for everything, including the Fridge and washer upgrades. Great location for the LBTS beach (3 mi), shopping, restaurants, golf. Quiet neighbors and neighborhood. We have reserved for next year. Fred and Lori are excellent owners.

Excellent Home

This home is excellent! Our family of four had a great time. Everything in the house is impeccably organized and clean. The owners have thought of every detail and stocked the home with anything you can imagine. The outdoors is amazing, especially the pool, which is perfectly heated 24hrs a day. The home has a lot of beach gear, which was great. Thank you, Laurie, for the delicious chocolates and beverage. We would love to return and will highly recommend this home to our friends.

Perfect Vacation Home

We LOVED this house! Had all the amenities to feel like home! Kitchen has all the pots, pans, appliances you need, spices, condiments etc! It helped so much to be able to make meals and save on eating out. Our kids (almost 3, 5 and almost 8) loved the yard and of course the pool was incredible. We also loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, toys and cooler for a quick drive to the beach. Beds were comfortable, I really have nothing negative to say. We will definitely book again! We hated to leave! Thanks for a great week!

We have now stayed here twice and its been excellent both times. We have booked our third stay on this property for the winter of this year! It is in a quiet neighborhood, close to the highway so it is easy to get around. It is probably a mile or so to the beach, and we didn't find it to far from anything we wanted to do. Communication was great with the hosts. The place is simple, but very well appointed...everything we needed for our days at the pool were there. Cornhole, the floaties were excellent, like a lounge chair in the pool! There are plenty of towels and an umbrella if you need to escape the direct sun for a little while. We were in the pool at night, it is well lit and very relaxing. Overall, I dont think you'll be disappointed!

Beautiful home

Hi Lori and Fred, thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. You definitely pay attention to even the smallest details. Everything you would need for a beach vacation was there. The house was very clean. We spent a lot of time in the pool and especially enjoyed the backyard and pool lit up in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. I was amazed at the amount of spices 😂. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well decorated. The master bathroom was beautiful, my kids didn't want to use the other one. Spring Break 2022

I can’t say enough good things about The Seahorse Chalet! The house was very clean and well maintained. The pool was perfect! The weather wasn’t ideal for the beach on quite a few days but lounging by the pool (the water was very warm) with the beautiful tropical landscaping made for a great substitute! And when we did have beach days the house was well equipped with everything we needed for the beach, ie, nice beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrella. Most rentals we’ve stayed in have basic “starter supplies “ but The Seahorse Chalet was very generous with things such as trash bags, laundry dry soap, dish soap, and each bathroom had adequate supplies of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All making it very convenient for us travelers that fly. Fred and Lori are great hosts. We were even treated to a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne as a welcoming gift! We would give The Seahorse Chalet 5 out of 5 stars and if we ever come back to the area would definitely stay there again!

This property was phenomenal!

Lori is phenomenal and very helpful! She looked up things to do in the area for us. I traveled with my mom who needed a wheelchair and Lori found a few places that I could rent a wheelchair for the week. I would 100% go back to this beautiful home!

Wonderful stay in Ft. Lauderdale

Had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, all the photos were accurate, and the pool was great. Everything else we needed was just a few minutes away. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway in Fort Lauderdale.

Amazing vacation home

Our family stayed at this wonderful house for a week. The interior decor was updated and modern and the house was spotless. We absolutely loved the outdoor space with a covered seating area, great picnic stable under a pergola and warm and beautiful pool. Location very accessible to the highway, beach, shopping, etc. The hosts were easily contacted when there was one minor question/issue that was answered right away. This was the first trip for our family since COVID and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this getaway to others and hope to return in the future. Thank you!

An absolutely charming location that had all of the amenities we were looking for. The owners were fabulous to work with took care of everything we needed and were very accommodating. Adorable, cozy, and just like home!

We loved our stay! They thought of everything, even beach going goods! Everything was super clean, check in was easy, and they had everything you would need for a day(or two) at the beach! Amazing heated pool and outdoor lighting! Awesome house with every accommodation you would ever need! Would love to go back!

Work from Home Oassis

We were looking to get out of the Boston cold for a week and this house was perfect. It was easy to work remotely with good internet access and so nice to get out into the garden and pool area between calls. The house is all newly updated and really nicely done. Thanks for a great week.
