This was our second time at this home and it was an excellent stay. We had some snow and icy weather but the town that this home is located in does an excellent job! We had everything we needed for a Christmas dinner for family in the area. Beds were comfortable and linens were great. There are not a lot of choices for homes that allow pets and this is one of them - we appreciate that flexibility and also how very clean the home was for us. Thanks for sharing your place!

Clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of 10. We had the best time here as our home base for our week stay in upstate NY. Well stocked with what we needed and extras including books, toys for the little one, and board games. We enjoyed the great views and nature. The layout of the home is perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful home! Perfect ski weekend getaway!

We absolutely loved our time in your beautiful home! Everything was so clean and convenient. The adults, the kids and even the dogs had the best time. Thank you for making our time in the Berkshires a great one! We are already planning to come back next winter:)

Great property, great host

A group of college friends needed to be in the area for a friends memorial service and we needed a place to stay and hang out. This was a great place with great space for our group. Perfect indoor and outdoor space to gather.

It is enchanting!!!

We loved staying at this beautiful home. My siblings and I traditionally rent a home in order to visit our parents in Troy for Thanksgiving. This is the best place we ever stayed! It's a beautiful location near family friendly hikes, very comfortable home, and beautiful views of farmland and trees from the house. Everyone of all ages really enjoyed staying here!

Fabulous weekend

We had a fabulous weekend at the farmhouse. Among the cleanest and most well-equipped rentals I’ve stayed in. Came to hike and chill and this was the perfect home base for that.

Beautiful Renovated Farmhouse

My family stayed here to attend a reunion in Averill Park. The house is a beautiful open design first floor ; the upstairs bedrooms are spacious, and separated by two steps creating quiet spaces. Bathrooms are beautiful. Truly a perfect getaway. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful place.

What a beautiful house. We loved this place. There was enough room for my whole crew. We were in town for a family reunion on crooked lake and was close within 10 minutes drive. We would stay here again. Although, without air conditioning I wouldn’t recommend staying in the hotter summer months. Overall, exceptional house.

Wonderful!!!!

We came up to see our daughter play basketball at college and this house was wonderful! There was room for everyone, it was very comfortable and the amenities were provided. The view was amazing, coffee on the front porch was just what I needed. The dog had plenty of room to run around and thoroughly enjoyed himself. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again when in the area!!

Perfect for our family wedding

I’m we had a family wedding at the Old Daley and this worked out wonderfully for my family. We got to stay together and attend the event. House was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of space for everyone to get into their fancies without it being a mad rush. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect Private Farmhouse

This Farmhouse was the perfect spot for us all to get together and go to the Saratoga Horse races. House was beautiful and looked to be brand new. Everything we needed was there. Great for hosting 10 people. Would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Perfect for Family

Everything was well done , New but kept the tradition of an old farmhouse. The space to gather was perfect. A large group was very comfortable . It helps to have 3 bathrooms and a couple of bonus beds. The location is remote but was close enough for a wedding in the area.

Christmas Vacation

This house was a perfect fit for my family for the Christmas Holiday. We have family in the area and were able to visit and be visited. The house is very clean and has a great kitchen layout and essentials. We hosted Christmas dinner and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and linens are high quality. The open concept meant we could enjoy our food and the football games too! The road is very quiet and ample parking with the spots across the road. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Family Trip 2024

This property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were beautiful. The open floorpan allowed some family to cook and communicate with everyone. We prepared all of our meals. Supermarket was 30 minutes away and small mom and pop store which was 15 minutes away had just about anything from beer and wine to rotisserie chicken. Would love to come back again.

Perfect Home for Lifetime Memories

A perfect place to come together and celebrate family. We can't say enough about this home. I travelled, along with my husband, his 74 year old Mom and 91 year old sted-dad from Southern Illinois to celebrate our granddaughters 2nd birthday and meet out 7 month old grandson for the first time. Karen was extremely helpful in ensuring I had all things to properly "grandma" and the house even more beautiful than pictured. There was plenty of room for all of us to visit and make memories of a lifetime. No doubt that great care and pride is taken in every detail of this gem.

Farmhouse on the hill.

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much. The setting on top of the hill is lovely with a view of distant mountains. The house is geographically in a prime location with easy access to the Hudson Valley, the Berkshires and the NY State Capitol district. The rooms are very spacious and each of three adults had their own bedroom and bathroom. The children's room has a sweet set of bunkbeds and a full bed. The house is tastefully decorated with interesting furnishings. The open living kitchen/dining/livingroom space has great flow and allows for inclusivity and access. The outdoor porch and picnic patio face the view of distant mountains providing a sense of peace and privacy. This property met all our needs perfectly and we would keep it at the top of our rental list!

Serene beautifully renovated farmhouse - loved the porch

This was the best rental we have ever stayed in! This farmhouse has evidently been quite recently renovated. It's spacious inside with a kitchen that has everything. The bathrooms are also spacious. The owner has thought of everything. But the best part is the porch! The front porch is quiet and calming, overlooking a hay field. I have never heard such quiet. :) When we were there over July 4 weekend, the road next to the house got only about 1-3 cars per hour (yes per hour). I was worried about no A/C, but the house is at about 1500 feet elevation, most of the way up the mountain, so it's a bit cooler up there. I could have stayed there another month!
