Tropical Paradise! 200' from Fripp Island Beach! Partial ocean views double lot

You won’t go wrong staying in this lovely home with partial ocean views. It is right in the center of everything yet very peaceful and private. Just 200 feet from the large beach even at high tide by Beach Access #19. You can play all day in the sun and come home and relax on your own screened porch. After that you can take a dip in the pool at the Beach Club which is just 2 blocks from the house (if access to the Fripp Island Resort amenities is purchased). There are 4 bedrooms, 3 on main level and a loft upstairs.

Partial views of the ocean along with a tropical paradise of 45 trees. A tranquil environment includes a large double lot. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Island Beach Club Pools, Dining and Tennis Courts. A walking / bike path is across the street.

This house has many features. The large outside deck overlooks the lot with many trees and views of the ocean. The screened in porch with a ceiling fan is great for conversations, dining, games or relaxing. Outside shower with hot / cold water is convenient when coming back from the beach. On the main floor is the large living room with new sofa and chairs, 65 inch ROKU HDTV and Bluetooth Stereo that is great for relaxing or entertaining. The remodeled (Jan 2024) kitchen has a large dining area with nice views of the ocean. The master bedroom is large with a king bed, walk-in closet, 43 inch smart HDTV on wall and private bathroom with walk in shower. The next bedroom has a king bed with a 26 inch HDTV. The third main floor bedroom has 2 twins with a 43 inch smart HDTV on the wall. A full bathroom is in the hallway. Upstairs is a loft with 2 queens, 1 twin, loveseat, walk-in closet, 55 inch HDTV and full bathroom with new cabinets & countertops.

Our house has a no smoking, no pet permitted policy. There is plenty to do on Fripp Island. The house has broadband and wifi. It is all here for you! Come and join us... You may never want to leave!

IF YOU WANT TO USE ANY OF THE WONDERFUL FRIPP ISLAND RESORT AMENITIES (pools, restaurants, golf, tennis, Camp Fripp, etc.) A FRIPP ISLAND RESORT FEE MUST BE PAID. The Fripp Island Resort Fee is $55 per guest (weekly amenity card) for 13 years and older plus 12.8% of the base rental amount. The Fripp Island Resort Fee is collected separately prior to arriving by owner via PayPal.

Rentals stays May 30 - August 14 are weekly Saturday to Saturday. Other dates require a 3 day minimum, with any check in date.

Super convenient location. House is a mix of modern convenience (kitchen! So much storage!) and vintage charm. Very nice porch furniture—reading on the deck was one of my favorite parts of the week. Mary is wonderfully communicative and accommodating. This was our first visit to Fripp and it was delightful.

We had a great time on Fripp. The house's location is great. Mary was excellent to work with and quick to resolve a couple of smaller problems that arose. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked with anything you could need. It was very hot our week but the air conditioner was great. The only negatives were some garbage under and around 1 bed and there were tiny flies all week.

Great trip!

Great property that has a fantastic location. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and having all the storage in the garage was a huge bonus. Would definitely come back!

Great location and beautiful beach

Location is great, bedrooms fit our 6 adult, 5 children family well. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. Toilets didn't flush well, but we managed and had a great time.

Best stay in 50 years

We have stayed at Fripp for over 50 years. This homeowner is among the few who understands that at Fripp the guests must prepare most of their meals themselves. The kitchen was fully equipped. The home was totally comfortable for our family. We truly felt like a guest in someone's home, not just in a commercial resort. The homeowner was quick to provide all information and take care of our needs. It couldn't have been better.

enjoyable summer vacation

Very well equipped with recent renovations.. there was a large amount of beach equipment ( chairs, tent, wagon, toys for infants) that made the time at the beach more enjoyable. The property was exactly as advertised and we would definitely stay there again.

Great House

This was our second time staying at this house. We had a great time. It is an easy walk to the beach and so close that you can go home for lunch. There have been several upgrades since our first stay and they made the house even better. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

Summer two week stay

The porch and deck are private, shady, and relaxing surrounded by palms and water oaks with the ocean in view one row off. The kitchen has everything needed and we cooked in every night. Enjoyed lots of shrimp boils eaten on the screened porch. Beach access super easy and close.

This house was just what our family needed! The kitchen was definitely the best-equipped of any rental property we have experienced, and we definitely made use of the second fridge in the basement. Having such close access to the beach was wonderful for the families with littles. After rinsing the kids off with the hose outside, they could feed them at the table on the screened-in porch without bringing sand and water into the house. Mary, the host was readily available for questions. And, the AC kept working, even during a terrible heat wave! (The only thing to be aware of is that the upstairs loft area has an open space to the living area below. There is a light blocking curtain hung there, which does help, but it isn't soundproof. So, bring a sound machine for anyone sleeping in that space.)

Nice house for the price!

Location was great. Kitchen very well stocked. First night went to go to bed and there was no bottom sheet on our bed so we had to make do with a flat sheet as there were no extra king-size sheets. The two lamps in the first bedroom have no knobs and can’t be turned on. A lot of the lamps had burned out bulbs. The upstairs loft bathroom was not properly cleaned as there appeared to be dried urine on the toilet seat. Don’t want to sound like a complainer, but as a property manager, I would want to know these things. Overall, we had a great week and the house was good. Great deck and screen porch!

Fun Family Time

We just returned from a week at Fripp and had a great time. The island was hopping, the week after the July 4th holiday, with lots of people yet the wide beaches still allow you to spread out easily. The location of this house was fantastic. Located right at beach access #19, it was so easy to come and go from the beach to the house. The house itself might be considered a beach 'cottage'. It was dated but very, very clean. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor and one large bedroom upstairs with its own full bath. The upstairs room fit all our teenage/young adult family easily although it never got quite cool enough from the July heat. The main floor never had a problem keeping cool. We appreciated the extra refrigerator in the garage and drink refrigerator in the kitchen. The kitchen was dated as well, but we had everything we needed to cook with. The owner mentioned that the house will get all new kitchen cabinets this fall. That might help with space, we did not have much space to store the food we brought, but we made it work. All in all, it suited our needs for family time and the location to the beach was really great.

Summer dreams - walk to beach

We were so happy to find this home available after our previous plan fell through. The location was perfect! Beach access right outside made it so easy to navigate with 4 children and all their beach toys. We had plenty of room and places to hang out inside. Loved our evenings on the back deck and the quaint interior. Mary was a great host and quick to communicate. Our 3rd time visiting Fripp and we hope to make it a yearly trip!

Enjoyed!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was just the size we needed and very well stocked with everything we needed. It is very close to the beach access and not far from seafood markets. We also had access to the resort facilities. This was our first visit to Fripp Island but not our last. Mary, the owner, was very responsive throughout the whole process.

Memorial Day

We had a wonderful stay with our children and grandchildren at Fripp. The house worked really well for our family with plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. What could have been a difficult start to our stay with a broken dishwasher, our owner Mary Oswald was quick to get a repair man in to get it fixed. When he determined that it could not be repaired, she had it replaced with a new dishwasher within hours! Very responsive and on top of the situation! Our family always enjoys our time at Fripp and look forward to our next visit!

Location!!

Located right at beach access 19. No need to load the golf cart!! The bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. Bonus refrigerator in the garage was a huge plus! Kitchen and bathrooms were dated, but the water pressure was strong and all the drains worked perfect. Mary the Host was excellent to work with. Very prompt and accessible.

Location Location Location

This house had everything we needed! The layout was great for our family & guests. It is not super updated & current but that actually made it feel “beachy” for us…it has EVERYTHING you need for a fun getaway. The location to walk to the beach was the BEST part. Mary was great to work with and very responsive. A definite repeat!

Great location with quick walk to beach

As the other reviews stated, the central location of this property and close proximity to Access #19 is a HUGE plus! Also, the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make dinners. The appliances are modern with the washing machine having a very large capacity. The pictures posted on VRBO represented the property well. We traveled with with two sets of 70+ grandparents, a young couple with an 11 month old and our 19 year old son. We had plenty of room! We were able to get a very good rate from Sutcliffe Golfcarts which was great and much appreciated. We had an AMAZING time and appreciate Mary’s quick response to any questions we had.

Thanksgiving get away

We had terrific weather and the house was a great home base to discover everything about Fripp Island. It provided just the right amount of room for our group and was so close to the water...we couldn't have asked for a better location. The stock of games at the home provided great times for the one rainy day we did have. The other days were just terrific.

Ideal location!

We come to fripp multiple times a year but have never stayed that close to the beach! It was so easy to haul 4 toddlers and all the beach stuff back and forth with this great location! The house is dated but very clean and has everything you would need! The two Kings were great for the adults and the loft was perfect for the kids!
