Private Cozy Cottage with view

Come stay at our cozy guest cottage!! You will have a refreshing view of Holmes Harbor and are only a few minutes from the Harbor itself, to the NE, or 1/2 mile from Mutiny Bay Beach to the W, with a fabulous sandy beach and a gorgeous west side view of the Olympics and sunsets. So many great beaches and views and hiking places on Whidbey and many nearby!
Enjoy 1/2 dozen fresh eggs from our chickens located near the cottage. You can sign up to use our 2 seater kayak. Great central location to explore Whidbey, close to several fabulous restaurants and our local grocery store. Or do your own barbeque on the front deck as you view Holmes Harbor and enjoy the soft afternoon wind we typically have here.
The cottage is cozy and should have everything you need to stay in, work from home or explore the area!
The quaint town of Langley is a 10-minute drive or head to beautiful Deception Pass, which is north about 55 min. A couple of great links to check out for the many things to do while staying at our guest cottage!

Tiny house with a view!

We loved it, it had an amazing view of the sound , saw fireworks 2 nights, had everything we needed! Great location and size for 2 people! Host was great if we needed anything! We would stay again!

Beautiful View

Perfect location for us as we were visiting friends and family who have their own cabin in Freeland. The VRBO was just right for the two of us. The views were amazing, the deck was inviting and the chickens were fun to watch.

Lovely, comfortable, clean cottage

We loved Cassie and Matt’s cottage! Had everything we needed plus a great water view and fun chickens! Bed was just right for great nights sleep, in a super quiet neighborhood. Cassie and Matt are the best hosts we have ever had with vacation homes!

Lovely guest house

Perfect place for us to stay with family in Langley and Clinton and others visiting that had a large home on Mutiny Bay. Quiet and peaceful, very clean and well equipped, comfy bed and the eggs form the owners chickens were a treat! Yes, we would stay there again if my sister's home was full! Thank you!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Adorable little cabin, very cute decor. Lovely views. We enjoyed exploring the island, had some great meals. The only draw back for us was the bed being pushed against one wall making getting in and out of bed difficult. Maybe small wall-mounted shelves on each side of the bed instead of the one side table would allow enough space to get in and out of bed on both sides.

This property is in a great location...central to many local destinations. The cottage is small but tasteful, well-appointed, and nestled among great-smelling pine trees. It has a very intimate/private/cozy feeling even though there are other properties nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and give this a "thumbs up" recommendation.

I was in the area 3 nights for a family wedding and this was a perfect spot for 1-2 people. Quiet, clean and was a great place for a short term stay. I arrived at night which made it a little difficult to find. Follow owner’s directions carefully so you don’t miss the driveway.

Adorable quiet getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed at this adorable quiet cottage for my best friends wedding. We had some travel issues and didn’t come in until very late, but Cassie was super helpful and left the house easily accessible for us exhausted travelers. The view every morning was remarkable, the town is super cute and has everything you might need. It’s in a perfect location to other neighboring towns in the area and the drive is incredible. My stay almost convinced me it’s time to move back to Washington. Thank you Cassie for a peaceful escape. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect work-yoga weekend

I stayed for 4 full days so I could change scenery while working from home and doing a yoga retreat. It was absolutely perfect. Small enough to feel cozy and yet spacious enough thanks to the layout. I really enjoyed my stay and had no issues and especially loved the wood floors and the view. The view was spectacular and the quantity of windows was really a breath of fresh air. I left feeling relaxed and just happy :) Thank you, Cassie, for being so quick to respond when I had questions :)

Nice cottage but not a 9.8...

The ratings said 9.8, we expected a lot and were somewhat disappointed. It is nice but no more than a 7.5. The pros: nice location with a great view, quiet and well decorated. Our issue was with cleanliness, mainly outside which tracked inside. Upon arrival we had to clean the stoop and deck, the patio furniture hadn't been cleaned in a while and the windows needed to be cleaned (outside). It was a nice and relaxing stay but not a 9.8

Lovely tranquil getaway

Had a great long weekend stay. The hosts were quite friendly and allowed us our privacy. Only real negative is the sound of the refrigerator and the bedroom didn't keep out much noise from the rest if the unit. Still, sleep was had and I would recommend this place to any single or couple looking to stay on the island for a time.

Great choice when visiting Whidbey Island

Wonderful accommodations on Whidbey Island! Connie was welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for a great visit. Comfortable, well equipped -‘and most of all a beautiful setting. Secluded, surrounded by trees with a big view of the water. Would choose again.

We are long time residents of
Whidbey and have raised our family here on these 2 1/2 acres. We love traveling ourselves and have been fortunate to travel to many places in the world...but there's not quite any place like home! We hope to share a part of our home base, on Whidbey, by renting out our guest house.

Here's a link to some of Whidbey's top attractions! Try kayaking at Whidbey's State Park, Rock climbing at Mt/Erie, hike along Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, The Lavendar Wind Farm, Wonderful Double Bluff Beach, several wineries, and the list goes on!! Enjoy your stay!!!
