OUTDOOR SPACE GALORE! Walk out onto the14x14 cedar deck with walkway and small landing for grilling, all attached to the cabin front porch and overlooking the property! Sit back, seriously relax, enjoy the gas fire pit, grill, dine, all on this most amazing deck space!!

BARK PARK IS DONE & READY FOR YOUR FUR BABIES!! If you want to sit and relax under the trees, enjoy a fire and have your pets off leash, you can!!!!! 4 chairs with firepit in a beautifully fenced bark park!

Welcome to the Cowboy Cabin! A beautiful, rustic cabin atop its very own hill surrounded by trees. Our Cowboy Cabin is a great space, with a main living area & a loft, accommodating up to 4 people (or +2 if you don't mind roll away beds). The main living area is encompassed by a high loft ceiling, accommodating sleeping, seating & dining! Additional space offered in the loft with 2 twin beds. It is fully furnished with a microwave, mini fridge, ice maker, coffee maker, shower, jacuzzi tub, & we even provide soft drinks, coffee, & snacks!

The Cowboy Cabin has been recently renovated & looks beautiful, so much more than a rustic cabin! You will enjoy the space, peace & quiet, as well as the modern amenities such as a jetted jacuzzi tub, wireless internet & TV! We also have 5 acres of hiking trails for you to enjoy!

We loved the easy no key entry. The cabin was very cozy with a nice fireplace, comfortable bed, big jacuzzi tub & some necessities. On Saturday morning we woke up to huge snowflakes which truly added to that old fashioned cabin feel.

Spent 2 nights here and we completely relaxed. Spent some time outside, walking the property, sitting by the firepit, played some games, and put together a puzzle. Our granddaughter made fast friends with Remi and Oliver, the dog welcoming committee. It was chilly outside and we thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and comfy. We loved the real wood fireplace and wood that was provided, as it was chilly when we were there. We stayed toasty warm. We also enjoyed the daily visits from the owners' dogs each day as well.

Wow, what an incredible weekend! This cabin was everything we hoped for and more. Super clean, cozy, and had all the little details that made it feel special. The location was peaceful and beautiful — perfect for unplugging and relaxing.Our host was AMAZING! Hands down the best host we’ve ever had. So kind, thoughtful, and made sure every detail was taken care of. You can really tell they put their heart into making guests feel welcome.We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

So tranquil and relaxing. The weather was wrecked hot and humid but the cabin stayed so cool and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, reminds me of staying in the smoky mountains. I’ll definitely be back, planning a time when the weather is cooler to use the beautiful indoor wood-burning fireplace!

Cozy home away from home

This was my first experience booking and the gem we stayed at did not disappoint! I was so happy to find this gem on the site! Cristina was quick to answer any questions I had before booking. We were greeted by two amazing pups Remi and Oliver. It was like they knew they needed to greet the guests and even had us follow them up the steps showing us where to go. The cabin was not only cozy, but super clean and had everything we could have ever needed for our stay. The hosts thought of everything! We spent alot of time on the deck bbqing (which those items were provided too). We felt so at home, that we didn't even feel the need to leave the cabin except for items to cook which I found a store about 5 miles away! The area was so quiet and off the grid we miss it already. Internet was a little spoty, but who cares we were in the woods! We wanted to disconnect some! Plenty of shade with the amazing trees. I could even breathe easier there with all that oxygen in the air. Cristina went out of her way and left a bday balloon on the porch for my fiance's bday! If you are considering booking this cabin. DOOOO IT. The hosts were absolutely great, and we loved our daily visits from Remi and Oliver! We will be back! They also have a cozy cottage on site too!

Great stay

Really nice cabin stay. Two dogs on the property that were cute and friendly. Snacks, coffee, dishes, plenty of towels. Huge soaking jet tub. Hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Wifi works and my ATT jetpack worked. Must be connected to internet to send or recieve texts and calls. Beautiful outdoor deck area. Perfect spot for a vacation getaway, and it worked great for my work stay also.

One of my Favorite Places I’ve Ever Stayed

Seriously. This place was incredible! It was very clean, organized and decorated. Sometimes I struggle with feeling safe in some bnbs, but this was perfect! I would definitely stay here again. I really do believe that the pictures are great, but don’t do it justice. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Tim and I (Cristina) are passionate about offering the best accommodations as vacation rentals as we possibly can. To be direct, we love our home here on Deer Mountain and we are always honored when someone books. We want everyone to experience Hillside Cabins and love it as much as we do.

We are empty nesters my husband and I, but we do have 2 dogs that get tons of attention. When you stay with us on Deer Mountain it is possible you'll meet at least 1 of our fur babies (Cooper); he will walk hang out around the cabins and he can't wait to meet everyone, he's a talker!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We visited this property on a whim, we really didn't believe it was for us, but from the first step out onto the property and after letting it soak it for a few, sold! We never thought we'd live on acreage coming from St. Peters, both of us from the Burbs!

We envision our grandkids with little hammers and chisel's, chiseling away looking for dino bones in the rocks. We left a pool behind, but nothing beats seeing our dogs run through and drink from the spring. We are experiencing nature like we never have before and loving it!

Some of our very first thoughts were, Can't wait to have visitors, whether it is family or peeps needing to get away. Sharing what we have is important to us; especially coming out of a rough 2020.
