Luxury Vacation Home on the Golf Course at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort

A Beautiful luxury home at the famous Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. It is only minutes away from Frank Lloyd Wright's famous house 'Falling Water', George Washington's Fort Necessity, and Ohiopyle's Waterfalls and Rapids. This home is extremely family friendly and is on one and a quarter acre of land right on resort property and can be yours from 1 day to 1 month. This beautiful home was built for my family and friends, and will be well suited for your family and friends. The home is located on one of the highest points in The Nemacolin Resort and is in walking distance to enjoy most of the beautiful resort property.
The Resort roads are open, to the private home owners on the resort property. You just need to mention to the gate tenders you are staying at the DeMarco House and they will let you pass.

There is a game room with a slate pool table, ping pong, darts, Pac Man, puzzles, and many of your favorite board games for your enjoyment.

Some Resort activities and Resort access may not be available as we do not control the Resort and their requirements even though the House is on the Resort property. A resort room rental can be rented for full Resort access or partial resort access, with the house rental. Full resort access is required for golfing, the spa, and the restaurants, etc.
The partial resort access includes the Casino, the Zoo, The Playgrounds, the Mini Golf, Arcades, Fishing, a Merry Go Round, A Car Museum, an Art Museum, and with access to most resort roads, walking paths, etc. are available.

For the house with the above mentioned partial resort access, the listing rental rate is $1,500 a night. If you do want full access to the all of the resort amenities, including pools, restaurants, golfing, etc., then you can book a hotel room yourself with the resort, or we can do it for you, with sometimes a discounted room rate, and that rate would be $2,500 a night with a stay at our house and with full access to the resort and a resort room. A 10% Holiday fee will be added.
There are 2 King Master Bedroom ensuites and two additional King Bedrooms. And since it is our summer home, it has all of the luxury room essentials.

NOTE: Some of our Guests that wanted complete RESORT access in addition to wanting to visit the famous Falling Water House by Frank Lloyd Wright, or wanting to shoot the rapids at Ohiopyle, or visiting the Resort Casino, have rented a resort room for a night or two along with staying at the house. It has worked out very well for our Guests that wanted to see the beautiful Laural Highlands attractions for a few days and using the Beautiful Nemacolin Resort for a few days.

Excellent property

Family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation (2 grandparents; 4 parents; 3 grandkids) at the DeMarco house. The kids absolutely loved the spacious deck and huge yard, as well as touring about on the golf cart. Location was spectacular - right in the heart of Nemacolin resort, across the street from the golf academy. Hosts (John and Mary) were great communicators and were very gracious (early check in; provided golf cart). Note that you also need some type of accommodation at Nemacolin in order to access their pools and restaurants, but John was very helpful in connecting us with the resort. All in all, a huge, great property that we plan to make an annual tradition.

Wonderful for weekend get away!

The property was perfect for a weekend get away with friends. The house was spotless and the living area was very spacious and comfortable for a large group. The view of the gold course from the huge deck was beautiful. John was very responsive and pleasant to work with. The VRBO rental process was easy. Accessing the Nemacolin amenities cost an additional fee but it was worth it!

Great Time At Nemacolin Property!

The house was clean, very well stocked and beautiful. The location was also great. Having the golf cart to explore Nemacolin resort was very convenient and a great added feature. The DeMarcos were great hosts and very helpful for our questions. I would recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely book it again in the future.

Family Vacation

Girls Getaway

My girlfriends and I rented this property for a weekend getaway as the world is opening back up. The house is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean. Super easy check out. Hosts very responsive, we would love to make it an annual trip and come back next year!

Beautiful Home & Accommodating Hosts

We stayed for a weekend with another family. The house was perfect for us, and the hosts are exceptionally accommodating. They made themselves available by phone and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We loved the huge deck, the large living area, and taking advantage of the Nemacolin amenities and cruising around in the golf cart. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we had everything we needed. We hope to rent this home again in the future, and would highly recommend it!

Summer stay for entire family

A Vacation Retreat!

The DeMarco House, nestled in the scenic Laurel Highlands, is the perfect vacation spot! Situated on the Nemacolin property, this beautiful luxury home has all of the amenities of a fine hotel and all of the comforts of home. The House is spacious and inviting, flooded with natural light so the indoors seamlessly transition to the outdoors, making the setting breathtaking in all Seasons. We enjoyed a long weekend with family here and the communal areas are designed for this! The large living/ great room , well-equipped kitchen, and very large back deck were perfect for visiting, dining and relaxing. The decor reads as effortlessly elegant. There’s a lower level game room which provided our competitive guests hours of entertainment. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable with great attention to detail. The baths were also well-appointed. We wanted for nothing during our stay. In fact, if we’d never left the house it still would’ve been an amazing weekend “ escape”! We did, however, leave the house! Our golfers played one of the two award-winning Nemacolin courses, while others enjoyed the pool and hot tub at the main resort. Our young granddaughter delighted in visiting the animals on the property and playing miniature golf. We spent a morning Whitewater Rafting the lower “ Yough” in nearby Ohiopyle, and we all enjoyed Sunday Brunch at the resort. This will become a tradition for our family. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer than three days! We highly recommend this gorgeous home and visiting Nemacolin, as well as the surrounding area. The DeMarco house is beautiful and well-equipped. It is well-sited with lovely view. Love the porch.

The DeMarco House has a wonderful layout for a holiday with extended family, or for a stay with several families. There is a bunk room to accommodate 4-5 children and the other bedrooms are spacious and allow some privacy. Three have ensuite baths. The kitchen is well-appointed so it is easy to share meals. The porch is terrific, ideal for meals, morning yoga, or wine at sunset. TVs, and game room will keep the family entertained. It was such a bonus that house guests have full access to all of Nemacolin activities, and the shuttle drivers are cheerful about pick-up and drop-off. That said, the house is hard to find and no one knows it by address. But if you ask for "The DeMarco House" service staff at the resort know how to direct you. Golf carts add to the convenience of getting around the resort. There are so many activities for the kids and teens, a children's pool and an adult pool for laps and lounging. It is easy to spend the whole stay on campus but the DeMarco House is also very convenient to all of the outdoor activities of Ohiopyle and local cycling routes. Our stay included a wedding at the Barn at at Fallingwater. Several in our party want to return for a family holiday.

Lovely Stay Over New Year's

We rented this property for a four day weekend over New Year's and were very happy we did. It is very spacious and private, yet accessible to all the Nemacolin Woodlands facilities. The house is beautiful inside and out and provided plenty of space for our family of four, as well as two friends. The owners were very helpful and accommodating in terms of arrangements for our stay. We enjoyed having breakfast there each morning, then after spending the day with activities at the resort - on the ski slopes, at the spa or at the shooting academy - it was lovely to relax in the spacious living room with a nice fire in the evening.

Get-Away to the Woodlands

The get away weekend at this home at Nemacolin Woodlands was fabulous! The house itself is creatively designed; the decor is lovely and in good taste; comfortable yet classy. The loft / 2nd floor gave an amazing feel of open space. A sense of the great outdoors is evident from the large living area, which offers full view of the beautiful woodlands. A sizable back deck along with plenty of outdoor greenspace, provides ample possibility to enjoy nature right from your very own lodge! The kitchen is well appointed, with all the amenities of home. The baths are luxurious, while the bedrooms offer all the comforts of a 5-star hotel. A cozy library nook invites you relax and read a book. The Nemacolin Resort itself is within walking distance, and offers an array of restaurants, entertainment, spa, and many other services. Being close to Route 40 is a treat for history buff's who can explore tidbits of Early America at sites, like Fort Necessity. And how about sampling the wines of Pennsylvania from a little boutique on the way up? This vacation spot can be whatever you want it to be -- a quiet get-away, or a place for party fun -- or both! I'll look forward to booking again soon.

My husband, children, and I recently rented this wonderful home. It exceded our expectations! The home was very well maintained and had plenty of open space for comfortable living. As well as the beautiful view of the woods and golf course, we enjoyed many of the other accomodations the resort had to offer. We look forward to vacationing there again next year.

The Best of both worlds!

I recently stayed at this private home on Nemacolin's resort and it was amazing. The home itself is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It was very luxurious and well exceeded my expectations. My husband got to golf all day while I enjoyed the five star spa and shopping...all within walking distance from the house. We got to enjoy the beauty and nature of the Pennsylvania all while having the luxury and convenience of having our own home. I would highly recommend this to anyone local or out of state looking for a great vacation!
