The Blue Heron Vacation Home sits on a private double fenced in lot in the quiet end of town. Located within walking distance to Ohiopyle State Park, GAP bike trail, restaurants, bars, rafting and unique shopping. Just 4 miles from Fallingwater. You can`t beat this location!



You are going to love it here! We call this property The Blue Heron house! We picked this name because the Blue Heron is so peaceful and relaxed. If you are lucky enough to see one along the River banks, just sit quietly and watch as he grazes so peacefully. That’s just how we want you to feel at our home — Peaceful and relaxed!

This is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors! After a long day of exploring Ohiopyle, come home to our relaxing back yard, complete with a 24ft swimming pool, patio with fire ring and deck with dining area. Grill out on the gas grill or roast marshmallows over the fire.

If its raining outside, no worries, enjoy the comfortable living area inside. Converse with family and friends around the bar and dining area or hang out and watch a movie on our giant sofa. The house has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor and 1 bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor.

Watch the sun set over our beautiful town from the sofa on the front porch.

Don`t worry about packing all of the essentials. The following are included with your stay:

Ohiopyle is a unique little town because it is landlocked by over 20,000 acres of state park. Enjoy numerous hiking and biking trails, fishing, white water rafting, scenic over looks, waterfalls and more!

Parking is available right in front of the house! Parking is hard to come by around here. I suggest leaving your car parked at the house and walk around town.

This home is located in the woods. It is common to see wildlife such as Bears, Deer, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Snakes, Mice, etc. Occasionally, small critters will make their way inside the home. While we do our best to keep them out completely, it is possible that you may come across one. Refunds are not issued for wildlife in the home.



Swimming Pool and Hot tub Policies: If the property that you are renting has a swimming pool or hot tub, you understand that by accepting a reservation, you release Vacation Ohiopyle, Alpine Property Rentals LLC and all owners of all claims and assumption of risk.



Please be aware, we cannot guarantee the Swimming Pools or Hot tubs will be working at every check in. We are not a resort. We send service to fix problems as they arise, however, the repair company may not be able to fit us into their schedule on the same day. These amenities are included with every stay, therefore, refunds will not be given for malfunction during your stay.

4) Guest must inform us of parties or events on the property at time of booking.

2)Extra towels are available in the upstairs bathroom closet. Feel free to use them if needed but please keep in mind that we are very conscious about the environment and water usage.

3) Pool Towels are provided in the wall cabinet above the dryer. Please do not take white towels outside of the house.

4) When using the fire ring, never leave fire unattended. Be sure to put fire out completely when finished.

4) At check out
- Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on. Don’t forget the coffee pot!
- Place all bath towels in the washer
- Place all pool towels in the bath tub
- Strip all used beds and leave the linens on the floor.
- Empty trash and recycling and place outside of the white gate.

5) the Instax camera is for taking pictures while at our home. Please do not remove it from the property.

6) We strive to provide clean, comfortable accommodations to make your stay enjoyable. Please report any dissatisfaction with the property immediately upon check in.

7) Like most hosts, we have full time jobs and children so we request that unless there is an emergency, please refrain from communication between 9pm and 7am.

GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER

Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the rules below.

Use of Property Grounds:
You understand that hiking and using the streams and creeks on the property is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from those activities and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers (slips, trips, falls, animals, insects, drowning, etc.) associated with the use of the property. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking, and use of the streams and creeks on the property. All Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Guests and Host.

Campfires:
Campfires must remain inside your fire ring, flames within reason above fire ring (NOT higher then 3 ft.).
Do not move the fire ring. Campers who move the fire ring will be immediately required to leave the property.


Noise:
Please be considerate of other guests staying at the property as well as our neighbors.
Quiet hours are from 9:00pm until 9:00am.
When returning to your Site, please be safe and considerate of your neighbors.

Children:
The property is unsupervised. Children under the age of sixteen (16) must be always supervised by a responsible adult and must be on the site they belong to every night by dusk.
Children under eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of eighteen (18) anytime they are near the creek.

Firearms/Hunting:
Firearms are strictly always prohibited on the property.
