The Cherokee Main House

Remodeled home with new lifetime floors, fresh paint, new kitchen. This private home has a fenced-in back courtyard loaded with fruit trees and tropical vegetation! Inside, you'll find two comfortable memory/foam king-sized beds, each with full bathrooms and one jacuzzi tub & walk-in shower. An iron day has two twin-sized mattresses to accommodate extra guests. The secondary bathroom boasts a claw foot tub bath/shower combo. This St.Simon's home is located in a very desirable location within walking distance to Red Fern Village shopping, East Beach, and restaurants.

The host was great, the neighborhood was quiet and people extremely friendly. Our first time to St. Simon and it was very peaceful and nice walking on the beaches.

The unit was well located and the owner was very responsive. But, it is a dump. The renovations were clearly DIY but bad DIY. It would never pass an electrical inspection. It smells bad and has bugs. The neighborhood needs to be torn down. Don’t stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and livingroom area was spacious. Great location that is close to everything. Owner was friendly and helpful.

I loved This home

We enjoyed our stay. The place felt like home rather than just a vacation rental. Modern bathrooms, kitchen.The fruit trees. Great host. We were close to everything, beach, shops but tucked away where we could relax. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Adorable Cottage

My only complaint is that the pictures don’t do this place Justice. It was adorable and a very comfortable stay! We will be back next year.

Winter Escape

Loved the open floorplan and spacious kitchen. Beds in both bedrooms are very comfortable. Living room is comfortable. Perfect central location in residential neighborhood which was great for walking our dogs. We enjoyed the back garden and so did the dogs. Great communication with owner. We stayed 2 months in the winter and look forward to coming back next year.

Just what we needed.

Enjoyed the pea e and quiet. Tha backyard courtyard was perfect. My babies (dogs) loved it more, I think. Perfect.

Nice little house

Listing says 3BR but house was only 2BR. Beds were nice and comfortable. Tub in master bath did not hold water. The stopper did not stay down. Refrigerator kept food cool, but not cold. Good communication with owner and easy check in. Pet fee was higher than I have paid most other places and was not accurate on listing.

Well it does say a 2 king size bedroom on listing and also I only charge you one pet fee for 2 dogs,, your welcome for that . As I walked in house to check out lots different item crumbs all over tables and counters .

Misleading all over

Description failed to mention that there is a shed behind the cottage that is also a vacation rental - you share the backyard with strangers. Very alarming when you show up and there’s already a car in front of the house! There was damage to the walls and floors in the first 2 rooms. Half eaten food in the cabinets and fridge. The owners personal property scattered in every closet and drawer, leaving us to have to leave our belongings on the floor. We ended up leaving just an hour after arriving - for our safety and comfort! The owner is pleasant enough, gave great suggestions for beach access and restaurants! Just beware that you’re walking into someone’s ACTUAL house with evidence of them all over and sharing a backyard with a stranger. The listing doesn’t say any of this at all.

A SHED.,, lol that building is a Cottage worth over $200,000 and whole property on market would be $875,000. IT has own private entrance , Private driveway, private key code, and its own area, THIS LADY GOT SCARED cause i left a light on in the house FOR THEM!!! and a camero was parked in other DRIVEWAY!!! There is no SHARED SPACED, SHE FREAKED OUT...WHAT A LAUGH!!! go look at my other Property Cherokee House she call shed,, and look over 280 REVIEWS!!! 4.8 STAR,,,,, and look at those pictures of that shed,,, What a JOKE this lady sys this,,, I would never offered to Rent my home to this lady if i knew SHE ACTED so KRAZY and slander my property , and there no holes 🕳 n walls or floors !!! A small bump hole behind a door knob where it hit drywall ,, and i Close all Doors to Areas that are not permitted,,and she went through EVERYTHING! Even when I taped my closets up saying please don't open !!! yes its a VRBO!! someones house to let you stay, NOT a HOTEL ,,GET REAL LADY!!! BEWARE THIS PERSON!!! See how I rated 5 star cleanliness because she left ,
