Poconos Creekside Cedar Chalet in the forest

***Contemporary Poconos Retreat for glamping in the woods . Lots of trees all around the cabin with a beautiful private view of the forest. WE DO HAVE NEIGHBORS NEAR BY! This is not a secluded place. It is located close to all major Poconos Attractions. A great space to work from home and explore the surrounding nature! Our goal is to connect as many people to the outdoors as possible while minimizing our impact on the environment.

***Inviting chalet with a modern/urban twist. A spacious living room with a wood burning fire place. All interior of the living room and the loft space is cedar wood. You will feel the cabin coziness with a private view of the woods. You can also take a short hike in the back of the cabin. Be aware of bears, wolfs and other wild animals. Although we have lots of trees in our property please note that WE DO HAVE NEIGHBORS NEAR BY!

The Cedar Chalet is place to slow down, indulge in the simple things in life, drink a glass (or two) of wine, and let your mind disconnect and wander. A place designed for friends and family, to let yourself disconnect and wander. For yummy homemade meals and good conversations. There's mountain fresh air, hiking, skiing, and beautiful nights full of starts!


This is a house, and you can treat it as such. But if you let go, and give in to the energy of a space created with love, this will feel like home.

We provide organic sheets for our guests :) towels and other essentials are also available.

We have a fire pit in our backyard as well as a grill on the deck. We currently provide fast internet for those working from home.

***Please note we have a 1 page booking agreement which we require all of our guests to sign (name & signature) and date before checking in.

***Our chalet is located in a residential area! We do have neighbors near by!

***The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or it's facilities. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

***Must be 25 years of age to book!

***Don't forget to turn off our security camera when you arrive on premise.

***There are wall thermostats in each bedroom and bathroom. Please use them to adjust the desired temperature. The living room has a ductless system with a control. The ductless system can heat and cool just like an AC. Please use the “MODE” button to choose from the setting you desire: cool, heat, fan, auto etc. we do not have central air/AC but there are fans in every bedroom.

***For the fireplace and fire-pit a log starter will be needed to be able to start the fire unless you have super powers. :) Wood and log-starters can be purchased at Walmart, located about 10 minutes away. Unfortunately we don’t provide those.

***The projector is available with Amazon Fire TV Stick. We recommend watching at night. Feel free to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime. (Please use Cedar Cabin account or our own.) If you purchase any movies please let us know. You can leave cash, Venmo or PayPal. Happy Binging!
P.S. Use the (Zoom) button on the projector control to adjust the size of the screen! In order to have sound for when using the projector make sure the Bose speaker is connected to Alexa and turn it on. Please tell Alexa “Alexa connect to my Fire TV” and the sound should be working on the speaker.

***Please do not disturb our neighbors. Many of them live there full time. No loud music allowed!

***Do not throw cigarette buds anywhere in our property or community. Extra fee for cleaning will be applied.

***If something is broken or damaged during your stay please notify us right away so we can replace it for the next guests.

***Please be aware that garbage attracts bears and bears are always hungry. Also please don’t feed the wildlife!

***No fireworks, firecrackers of any kind.

***Do not pour any food, coffee grinds or grease down the sink (again septic issue).

***Please do not flush any kind of paper other than toilet paper and lady products down the toilet (sepetic systems are sensitive and it will clog the toilet!) 

***Keep the fireplace closed at all times and use it with caution. Fire wood and fire starters can be purchased in Walmart or Shop Rite located 10 minutes away

***We don’t charge a pet fee but if the cleaning team reports excessive dog hair on furniture, stains or if you have not cleaned up after your dog anywhere in our property we will charge an extra cleaning fee. Please do not use our blankets for your pet.

*** Water is safe to drink from our kitchen faucet. We have installed a water filter. If you are interested in obtaining information about the filter, please ask. We also have a pitcher filter available for use along with a Berkey Water Filter available!

***Please turn off everything you turn on when you check out. That includes the stove, microwave, fireplace , grill, wall thermostats etc.

***Check out is strict at 11am. If you would like to extend your stay please let us know as soon as possible. We have a cleaning person with a tight schedule!


***Maximum Occupancy. The maximum occupancy for the Property is eight (8) individuals, each over the age of twenty five (25) years’ old. At all times during the rental period, Guest agrees to have no more than eight (8) guests on the Property. If more than the stated number of guests are found to be occupying the Property, without prior written permission, we have the right to terminate this Agreement and Guest will forfeit all monies paid, including the Total Rental Fee, Cleaning Fee, and any other deposits. Guest is fully responsible for all occupants during the reservation and for ensuring each occupant’s adherence to this Agreement.

***No Parties – Zero Tolerance.This is not a party house. Guest must be twenty-five (25) years of age to rent the Property. The Property is located in a residential neighborhood and Guests shall be enjoy the Property in a manner that does not unreasonably disturb the surrounding residents. Any special occasions such as weddings, receptions, family reunions or increase of occupants (guests not included on Airbnb and not bringing the total above maximum permitted guests) must be disclosed at the time the reservation is made and is subject to our approval. Prom parties, fraternity or sorority parties and graduation parties are not allowed at any time. Adults cannot rent the Property on behalf of underage guests, no exception!

***Non-Smoking – Zero Tolerance. This is a NON-SMOKING Property. Evidence of smoking, such as the smell of cigarette or cigar smoke inside the Property, if discovered by the cleaning crew, is sufficient basis to charge the Guest for smoke cleanup and removal from any carpeting, HVAC ducts & filters, and furniture. This type of deep cleaning is expensive, and Guest will be liable for the Deep Cleaning Fee.


***Have fun! This is your vacation time and we hope you make the most of our home, its amenities and your opportunity to relax and visit the surrounding area. It is now your space to enjoy, relax, reflect and feel comfortable doing absolutely nothing. There is something special about sharing a space, and passing it from guest to guest, as you have found it.
