In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). In Winter: please take snow chains. Stepped path to the house. Roofed, parking. Grocery 1.4 km, supermarket 1.4 km, shopping centre 1.4 km, bicycle rental 1.1 km, bus stop "Tuftbach" 100 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 1.1 km, indoor swimming pool 1.3 km. Golf course (9 hole) 3 km, tennis 2.5 km, minigolf 1.4 km, sports centre 1.3 km, gondola lift 1.8 km, ski rental 1.1 km, ski bus stop 100 m, children's ski school 2.5 km, ice rink 1.3 km, children's playground 1.3 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 20 km. Please note: no lift. Ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Grindelwald.

Beautiful view and nice rooms. The downstairs bathroom didn’t have soap, we used the one from the kitchen. A microwave would have been nice to reheat our coffee instead of heating it up again in a pan. No extra paper towels with only 1/3 a roll left for us. Otherwise it was wonderful! Thank you.

Great View!

If you are looking for the absolute best views of Grindenwald, then this property is perfect. Keep in mind that the two bedrooms are more appropriate for children, and there are also some stairs to climb if you have a lot of luggage. We enjoyed our stay here!

Great accomodations

The apartment "Tuftstein" was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and spacious. The view from our large balcony was breathtaking. Convenient location. We would definitely return to this Chalet.

Mid summer stay at Chalet Tuftstein

Chalet was as described. Fantastic views and location. Checkin process having to travel to the Interhome office when arriving by train with luggage is very challenging.

Very Nice Chalet to Stay

The chalet is very nice and clean as new. The balcony has a stunning view. Everything is available in the chalet and more than what is required There is a stream at the chalet that you can see from the balcony and hear the murmur of water while you are enjoying drinking a cup of coffee

I can’t say enough about this chalet! It was perfectly situated with the most amazing views, an easy walk to town, clean, comfortable, and we’ll stocked. The nespresso machine was my favorite every morning. Interhome was wonderful to communicate with and extremely helpful.

Excellent location, fantastic view

This chalet is really well located, being only a 6/7 minute walk downhill to Grindelwald Terminal. We really liked the chalet - it is spacious, well kept and spotlessly clean. Interhome were really helpful during the booking process and the stay. The only slight downside was that the residents on the floor below had their radio playing and you could easily hear it on the balcony.

View Like A Painting

Grindelwald was the last stop of our hiking adventure. While the town was a bit busy and crowded this Chalet is located far enough away for peace and quiet but close enough to walk into town. The view was absolutely breathtaking. It was so relaxing to sit out on the deck and have coffee or wine. Easy access to gondolas for hiking. Comfy beds and linens and great water pressure in the showers:) Kitchen is adequate for cooking. I highly recommend this Chalet!

Fantastic view

The apartment is well equipped with 2 full bathrooms ( only appliance missing is a microwave) The view of the mountains on the balcony is fabulous. Nearby grocery ( 8-10 min walk) Very quiet area One parking spot On day of arrival, we noticed that the flushing mechanism of one toilet was not working. I advised Interhome Gridelwald and a plumber came on the same day to fix it

Alpine Charm

Chalet Tuffstein was a lovely place to use as a base for enjoying the views and hiking of Grindelwald. The Chalet was clean and well-stocked. It had everything we needed for cooking. We had two couples in it and it gave each couple a bit of privacy as the bedrooms are spread apart. We struggled a little using the laundry as we could not find the required electrical key/plug. Would happily use it again. Interhome was also very accomodating in rescheduling over two years due to Covid.

The property was immaculately clean. The view was spectacular and exceeded expectations. The kitchen was well stocked. A few things to note. There is access to a washing machine and dryer but it is shared access with the whole housing complex and we often had to wait or move someone's laundry. It would be nice if there were simple instructions for appliances, including the washer and dryer. Each guest was provided one towel and one hand towel. It would have been nice to have a few extras or at least some wash cloths. The down comforters and pillows were dreamy but the sheets on the bed were scratchy. These were very minor and our overall stay was lovely and we were so pleased with our accommodations. We highly recommend this property.

This was a wonderful place for 5 of us for six nights in Grindelwald. The view was breathtaking. The town and terminals were within walking distance which was convenient. Uphill on the return trip, though! It was very clean except the carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. We did run out of hot water several times but it was not that big of a deal. Communication was the only real issue as it was hard to reach anyone on either of the phone numbers provided. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Mooie locatie

We verbleven een week met 4 volwassenen in dit appartement. Nette en complete inrichting. Appartement was schoon en de uitleg bij Interhome was voldoende helder. Het is een wandeling van ca. 15 minuten naar het centrum waarbij de terugweg bergop is. De bijbehorende parkeerplaats was overdekt maar erg krap. De ruimte om je ski's op te bergen is meer een schuurtje. De wasmachine en droger zijn prima.

Moderne Unterkunft mit einigen Abstriche

Das obere Schlafzimmer mit anschliessendem Badezimmer sind sehr grosszügig und luxuriös eingerichtet. Aber die unteren 2 Zimmer vorallem das Einerzimmer hatte nicht einmal einen Schrank drin und die 3 Personen unten mussten sich das kleine Badezimmer teilen. Das war echt nicht so toll. Für max. 4 Personen oder 2 Erwachsene mit Kind ideal aber nicht für 5 Erwachsene Personen. Würden es nicht mehr buchen für 5.

Schöne Wohnung mit Platt

Die Wohnung war insgesamt sehr gut. Der Wohnbereicht mit der Aussicht war fantastisch. Das Platzangebot für 5 Personen war mehr als ausreichend und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im einten Zimmer hat es etwas nach Zigarettenrauch gestunken, was sehr ärgerlich war. Die Duftspender in der Wohnung waren keine Lösung - für uns eher ein zusätzliches Problem. Diese haben wir während unseres Aufenthaltes entfernt. Für Kleinkinder war die Treppe nicht ideal. Es ging trotzdem.

Liebe Astrid, vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Es tut uns leid, dass Sie aufgrund einiger kleiner Probleme einen weniger angenehmen Aufenthalt hatten. Die zuständigen Teams haben die Mängel sofort behoben. Der Geschirrspüler funktioniert nun einwandfrei, und ein neues Raclette-Gerät wurde in der Wohnung bereitgestellt. Die lokalen Kollegen haben weiterhin die benachbarten Parteien darum gebeten, nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung zu rauchen. Wir hoffen, dass diese Maßnahmen dazu beitragen werden, Ihren nächsten Aufenthalt bei uns angenehmer zu gestalten. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Ihr Interhome Team
