Perfect location

Perfect location and nicely decorated room. We highly recommend this cottage. In our opinion it is suitable for 2 persons and not a family of 4 as we where. But the location is perfect close to the Beach and lots of nice restaurants closeby

Affordable! A perfect location

Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in this affordable, clean, perfect location with the comforts of a kitchen, laundry, wifi, and parking at no extra cost. My family of 4 stayed here for 7 days. We used it as our central base to explore LA. We didn’t actually enjoy the beach while we were there because it was too cool, but wow it’s perfectly located to walk to. We enjoy quiet so I found Saturday night a bit loud because you hear everything but the weekdays are quiet. I would definitely return.

Lovely getaway

Highly recommend a stay at this cottage. It's cute and clean. The owner is very responsive. We had some issues with the heat while we were there (chilly Nov nights!) and she was very quick to bring over space heaters to make sure we were comfortable. You can't beat the location - lots of fun places to eat nearby (make sure you try Baja Cantina!) and close to the beach. You won't be disappointed!

Cute cottage

Had a wonderful stay in this very cute cottage in Venice! Kitchen was well stocked and beds were really comfy. We went for a boat ride on the canal and had a great time looking at all of the unique houses. The beach is one block away. We wished we had more time here. Thank you Carol!

charming place!

We enjoyed this cute, clean little efficiency apartment. Great detailed instructions left for us tenants! It was great to meet nice tenants (from Germany) renting the bigger house. It’s only one full room (besides kitchen/bathroom). Quick walk to the beach! The claw foot tub is a little shaky when standing in it for shower and the lamp needs to be replaced (no switch, makeshift tape switch). I would definitely stay there again! Thank you!!!!

Location,location, location!!!!!

If you are lucky enough to snag this adorable cottage you will not be disappointed! The location couldn’t be better. It’s only 1 block up from Venice Beach and the famous boardwalk where you can watch people in the skateboard park, grab a drink at The Venice Ale House or Whaler patio, check out Muscle beach or watch the sunset from the stretches of white sand beaches. This cottage is small but all we needed just the two of us. It’s attached to a larger cottage that faces the canals! What a great way to wake up, grab a coffee and go for a morning stroll along the canals. One of the best features of this cottage is it comes with 2 bikes to use. For us this was the best way to get around. It’s a very bike friendly place with bike lanes everywhere. You MUST take a cruise down to Santa Monica and check out the Pier. There is a bike path that runs the whole way along the beach. It’s spectacular! The kitchen was fully stocked, the bed was comfy and there was a cute little shared outdoor patio area. Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We loved it here and will be back in the future.

Great location

Stayed for 1 week in September. A perfect base for Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Made great use of the bikes to get around and as far as Manhattan Beach. Apartment was compact but was as expected. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. Only downside was as it was a shared outdoor terrace with the larger property (the large property overlooks the canals while the smaller property which we stayed overlooked the driveway). Although this downside is only down to personal preference. I would definitely recommend the property.

Very nice and reasonably priced.

This cottage worked well for my wife and son and I. We enjoyed the accessibility to the beach, and we took advantage of the bikes. The cottage was priced well below a local motel room with the added conveniences of appliances and modern laundry facilities.

Lovely, quiet, as pictured

We had a terrific time at the cottage. It's a cozy space - I traveled with my 16-yo. Room enough for the two of us, but would have been tight for more. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed workable and had everything one would need. Location was great. Close to the boardwalk and plenty of good eating.

great location walk to venice beach

This is an ideal getaway, with all the amenities that one would need for a little vacation in California. It was nice to have the bikes to go for a ride on the boardwalk, just a couple blocks away. It was surprisingly quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We walked to dinner, rode to Starbucks and was able to park the car right next to the house.

Adorable beach cottage

My husband and I spent 5 days here in February. The cottage is bright, clean, comfortable, and in a wonderful location close to beautiful and vibrant Venice beach! We loved walking along the quiet canals, and biking the Strand with the bikes provided. There are so many great restaurants in the neighborhood, plus markets to stock the kitchen if you don't want to eat out every day. Having the washer/dryer was really convenient, too. We would definitely book this cottage again!

Quaint and convenient!

Loved our stay. Easy access to the canal for a nice walk, or a boat ride if the water is high enough. Venice Beach is a short easy walk, and loved that there is parking, and even laundry facilities although we didn't use it. Very comfortable place to stay, even though small, it has everything you need. I would love to return sometime!

Outstanding!

From the moment we walked into this quaint cottage it felt like home . Walking distance to everything , it is the perfect location. We used the bikes daily to ride the bike path and we will def come back soon!!

Venice Beach Perfection

This little cottage was absolute perfection for our 7 night stay. The cottage has everything you could possibly ask for; full kitchen, full bath, mini dining table, comfy bed, large daybed that we used as a couch, laundry....it really has everything. Our favourite part was the use of the cruiser bikes, though. They were so great to have. We would ride to Santa Monica Pier (15 minute pedal from the front door), lock up the bikes at the pier and then use the overhead walkway to cross the PCH to go wander around the shopping district in Santa Monica. It was heaven. The only time we really used our car rental was to go do a grocery shop at an actual supermarket and that was only a 5-10 minute drive. Otherwise everything else you would want is just steps outside the cottage door (okay, maybe not steps...but literally only a few blocks). Carol was very helpful upon our arrival and it was so appreciated. We will absolutely be booking again next year!

I live in the other cottage and I also own a few other rental properties in Venice. I bought this classic Beach Bungalow in Venice and remodeled it from top to bottom, filled it with designer furnishings and had no vacancies! I tried to produce a space that people would feel happy in. Everything is new, clean, light and bright with a beachy vibe and cheerful feeling.

Venice is an incredible California experience and the Venice Canals are the best Venice has to offer. You are one block from the beach and the Venice Boardwalk; walking distance to the Venice Pier and fabulous restaurants and boutiques in Venice and Marina Del Rey. This particular property is surrounded by multi-million dollar homes so that gives you a feeling of both security and pride of ownership in the neighborhood.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

2 Beach Cruiser bikes + use of shared boats (red Canoe and Blue Row Boat) to use in the canals, beach chairs + towels, plus outdoor eating area with BBQ shared with other cottage. You can walk along the Venice Canals and go to breakfast at Joni's Coffee Roasters or Noah's Bagels or stop in at the corner Starbucks. It's a healthy lifestyle where you'll be encouraged to walk or bike wherever you go- like the weekly Farmer's market. Sunbathing, Sailing, Biking, roller-blading, surfing, gallery hoping, shopping, celebrity watching, you name it, we've got it here in Venice. Public transportation is just 1/2 block away. It's a very peaceful neighborhood but all the action of Venice is just minutes away. Check out the sunset every evening at the pier then go to the Baja Cantina for your after sunset margaritas- or Coldstones for ice cream, then walk home!! Or go to the 3rd street Promenade in Santa Monica and the brand new Santa Monica Place mall for movies, restaurants, and some of the best shopping in LA. Take your kids to the Santa Monica Fun Zone and Pier after a day at the beach, then eat at Bubba Gumps- a family friendly restaurant on the Pier. Do not miss a ride on the famous Carousel on the Pier, the very same one featured in many Hollywood movies including 'The Sting' starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.
