-Welcome to Summer Wind in Surfside Beach, the family beach! Our house sits only 300 steps away from the sand & sea. As you stroll or ride a bike to the beach, you'll hear live music & smell the aroma from great food among many open-air restaurants & bars.
-Flea market, bowling, batting and mini golf under 1.5 miles away
-Myrtle Beach, Broadway by the Beach & Murrells Inlet are a short car ride away.
-Inside our 4 bedroom home, you will be welcomed with cozy furnishings and an open floor plan.
-Our house has a screened in front porch where you can relax w/ a cup of coffee & hear & smell the ocean.
-Our back porch overlooks our private backyard w/ palm trees, a hammock & large pool w/ OPTION TO HEAT FOR A FEE (please inquire for pool heat and price, as it ranges based on propane prices and outside temp)-Please inform owner 1 week before check-in to request heat & a payment request will be made.
-We have an outdoor gas grill for BBQ-Please note if the propane tank is empty, guests will be responsible to fill it before using-PLEASE CLEAN GRILL PRIOR TO CHECK OUT.
-Max of 2 dogs-Guest to include dog & notify owner upon booking- a $200 fee will be applied. *If pets are brought w/out owner's knowledge, we have the right to cancel booking w/no refund.

Location, location, location. Just a couple blocks to the beach. Thoughtful hosts. House had everything you might need for beach and pool. Renovated bathrooms and kitchen. 2nd floor porches enter from and back of proper. Plenty of off stereo parking. Great stay!

We were very happy staying here. Owner was very quick to respond. They had everything there at the house that you would ever need. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Very nice would stay here again.

Private pool and close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in Surfside, including use of the private pool (which we paid to have heated since our stay was in March). The home is comfortable and well appointed. We appreciated being within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us; we'll be back!

Another great stay

This was our third year in a row and we will be back again. The house is beautiful and the pool and yard are amazing. Everything in the home is spotless and it’s in the perfect location. Can not wait to come back.

Perfect place!

What a wonderful place to stay. My friends and I came down for a quick 3 night golf trip. The home is as advertised but better. Location to the golf courses can’t be beat. You’re basically 20 minutes tops from some of the best courses. After a long day in the sun you get to come back to an amazing pool and relax. A short walk down the street you have some restaurants and the beach. Neighborhood is quiet and everyone is lovely! If you’re looking for an awesome myrtle beach stay you can not go wrong choosing this home. Appreciate you lending my friends and I your home!

A fantastic week at Summer Wind in Surfside Beach

We had an awesome week at Surfside thanks to Sharon, Theo, and Summer Wind. They have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Bikes, beach chairs, towels, a terrific pool, and absolutely convenient to everything at Surfside. We were extremely grateful that Sharon allowed us to bring an extra pet at the last minute during a boarding issue. Sharon and Theo were responsive to our questions and cared about our stay. You’ll love everything about Summer Wind, from the private pool deck, to the expansive screened front porch with the ocean breeze, plus the its “around the corner” access to the beach and nightlife at Surfside. We will definitely back!

Another great year

This was our second year in a row on the property. It was absolutely amazing again. The place is always spotless and is in the best area. We can not wait to plan another trip next summer

Great family vacation!

Everything provided made our visit so comfortable. The pool area and front porch were so nice to have. Being able to walk to the beach, lunch or for drinks was great for our family while celebrating birthdays. Definitely on our list for a repeat visit in the future.

Awesome place very close beach access

Perfect size for a group of Friends and family. Just as advertised, met the owners they were awesome. You wont find a nicer place to stay walking distance to restaurants and beach. Pool was clean and the back yard area was awesome. We played corn hole. We cooked out, sat on the Poarch's. I will be back again.

Great Vacation

The house was fully furnished with dishes and supplies. Loved the screened in porch, very comfortable and the pool area was very spacious. The location was convenient to the beach and restaurants. Surfside Beach is a great place for families. Will visit again.

A dream!

This home was a dream! Our family (ages 4-18, plus 2 hypoallergenic small dogs) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home, even though the weather didn’t cooperate with our long weekend getaway in March. When traveling with a family, it’s the little things that really make a difference- paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and dish soap, cooking spray, salt and pepper, towels already available for us. We felt at home the moment we walked in. The owners communicated quickly and immediately resolved the issue when we had a pool heater problem. We are very excited to stay here again and are looking forward to the fall calendar opening up for reservations!

Wonderful family vacation

The property was just as advertised. Very clean and well stocked for our family. Teddy and Sharon were great owners to work with and they responded to anything and everything we ever inquired about quickly. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful Residence

My family and I absolutely loved this place. From the time we walked in we fell in love. The residence was spotless and in an amazing location. The pool was perfect and the yard was perfect to hang out in at night. We would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!!

Our regular beach group which is made up of middle aged adults and young adults, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfside beach. A large part due to the great house and close proximity to beach and restaurants. Owners were super responsive to our minor issues. The pool was fabulous!!

Great House & Location

We just stayed in this house last week and we were very pleased. There were 5 adults and 3 kids and we had no issues with space. The house was clean upon check-in. Property Owners were very responsive even with them being out of the country with a 7 hour time difference during the time of our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bunch of small waters, snacks, several K-cups, hand soaps, among other things. We have stayed at a lot of beach rentals and none of this is ever provided. So that was very nice and goes a step above. We really enjoyed the front porch. Nice furniture, ceiling fans, and screened to keep the bugs out. The pool was nicely sized and cleaned 3 times a week. Location was great. Easy walk or golf cart ride to the beach access right around the corner. And convenient to some bars and restaurants. Would recommend Wooden Spoon for breakfast and hit up Scotty's for karaoke night. I would recommend this house to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Great Location and Home but.......

Here is an honest review of this property and our experience staying here. I loved the house and location, couldn't ask for better. The house was well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The pool area was nice and clean. I give the home, location and amenities a 10 out of 10. Now, here are the 3 cons 1. It only had 1 bicycle. It was nice as I rode it daily, however 2 would have been great as it is always more fun to ride with someone rather than alone. This is a suggestion more than a complaint, if it had no bikes at all, I would still have loved this house and enjoyed my stay. 2. This was VERY EXPENSIVE and for the price, I feel the rental should have came with a golf cart, several other rentals in this area and price range did include access to a golf cart. This is a moderate complaint not a deal breaker, but again this is an expensive rental and should have FULL amenities. 3. This is a FULL ON Complaint and should be considered a warning to ALL potential renters. From the moment we arrived, I felt as if we were being watched. They have a ring doorbell on the front door and they are definitely monitoring it at all times. I can understand from a safety standpoint and to ensure that the renter is bringing into the house the amount of guests they claimed at booking, but at some point this should be shut off, I was getting emails the entire time we were there about the porch light being left on, pet fee (another topic) and other things that let me know I was being watched. Also, we would leave to go to the beach and come back 30 min later, and the trash can would be moved to the edge of the road, then put back later, also a beach ball just disappeared from under the carport, so someone was coming on and off the proper unannounced constantly during the trip. All of this added up to a creepy and uncomfortable feeling for all of us during the trip. I would recommend that they change this approach for future guests. As far as the pet fee goes, It is assumed at booking that is included in the price as i was upfront and checked the box that I would be bringing a pet, but after being there a day, I get an email requesting an additional $200 for the pet fee, again, proof you are being watched and then the surprise fee after I spent so much on the rental already. I did pay as it was not included in the original amount, and I have no issue with the payment, just thought it was included, so be prepared for that. 5 Stars if no creepers

Excellent Property

My husband, daughter, granddaughter and in laws stayed at this property. It was clean, layout of 2 bedrooms each on both sides of the kitchen and living room was the perfect set up. The pool was big with plenty of seating. Just a couple of blocks from the beach and restaurants - all within walking distance. The property managers were extremely friendly and responsive to any questions. We will 100% stay here again.

Wonderful place

Nice big beach house, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Comfortable bedrooms, lovely outdoor spaces. Our family had a great time, especially with the pool and porches. Nice way to visit SC.

Beautiful and Clean House !

We really enjoyed out stay! The property owner was very kind and attentive to our needs. the property was well maintained and clean. Not to mention ample parking spaces, quite neighborhood and close proximity to the beach. The beds and furniture were comforting and the kitchen offered various utensils. My little sister and daughter really loved and enjoyed the pool. We hope to book this same property on our next stay!

Our primary residence is in NJ, but we fell in love w/ SC the first time we spent a week in Surfside Beach in 2001. My dad lived in Murrells Inlet and my brother in Pawleys' Island. We came to spend time w/ my dad and meet his family and my brother for the first time. We visit almost yearly and my brother owns and manages 3 ocean front condos in Garden City beach. Our only son, Teddy, was managing vacation rentals in Miami, so we decided to buy this perfect beach house 20 years from our 1st visit!! We are so happy to share it with you! We strive to provide our guests with a 5 star experience!
