Explore Michigan's Harbor Country from our newly renovated, very secluded, cottage located less than one mile from Warren Dunes. Just a short walk to Peasant's Pantry for brunch or Local Pour for drinks. Enjoy charming shops, and restaurants and the Home and Garden Center in nearby Sawyer. Taste the local wines, brews and spirts of the area. The cottage is tastefully decorated and comes equipped with a fully-appointed kitchen, gas grill, hammock and fire pit. Zip around on a beach cruiser or enjoy a night by the fire pit in our private backyard.

We had the best time here! Can’t recommend the property highly enough. Bill and Shari were so easy to work with and made it all stress free. The property is beautiful, and the owl decor is immaculate. You truly are less than 5 minutes from Warren Dunes and so many other fun things to do. We’re already planning a trip back!

Family getaway

The house had everything we needed. It was clean. Short drive to beach and Dunes. Plenty of restaurants, wineries and breweries very close. Loved it!!

Great Family Cottage

The cottage was great for our family gathering. It is very well equipped with all the necessities and much more — indoor games, bikes, yard games, beach towels and chairs. The location is excellent and very quiet. We all rspecially enjoyed sitting out on the patio. We would love to return!

Great location and fully stocked for all your adventures!

We were in town for a family reunion, and the location of the property was perfect to reach all of the things we wanted to do in Berrien County! Another great feature was that this house was stocked with all the beach stuff we needed- chairs, umbrellas, yous, even beach towels! I highly recommend this property!!

Great Getaway

We had a lovely trip with our family that included two small children. The house was clean with up-to-date amenities. It was also nice to have bicycles and some beach gear in the garage. The yard was nice and private. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for others. The location was great, too!

Fabulous Memorial Day Weekend

Our group really enjoyed staying here during Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was perfect in every aspect from cleanliness to space to all the amenities it came with. We really enjoyed playing the various games, making a fire, and grilling. The host was also very responsive and accommodating. The Warren Dunes are less than a 5-minute drive away and we relaxed on the beach every day we were there. Highly recommend staying here. Our group loved it so much we all agreed we can't wait to come back!

Great spot

The house was as advertised, very clean and they really had all the amenities. It exceeded our expectations compared to other properties. Shampoos/soaps/spices/condiments were provided. Very secluded street. Great location to access wineries/breweries/restaurants. Nice backyard, plenty of games and a comfortable living room. No complaints.

A pleasant vacation.

We were impressed with how clean the house was when we arrived. The refrigerater and stove were new unlike others we have stayed at, a very big plus. The house had all the amenities that you needed. There were games, bicycles, fire pit, grill and beach towels for as many as ten people. The house was not on the beach but very close to enjoy it. For the price this is a very good rental and look forward to staying here again when we come back to the area.

Clean, comfortable, great kitchen and property

Sleep is a priority for vacation and this location had wonderfully comfortable beds and was quiet. Kitchen was great for cooking and the owner was very responsive. Very thoughtful amenities and extra beach chairs, supplies etc were a bonus. Plenty of sticks for roasting marshmallows in the garage. 15-20 minute walk to beach or 3 minute drive. Would love to come back!

Fabulous trip

We were skeptical driving down the lane, the property leading up to house was sketchy... once we arrived, yard and house was beautiful. Super clean and everything we could've asked for. The fire pit was used every night. We would definitely rent again!

Family retreat

Great house, with well-done upgrades to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the opportunity to explore new areas like Warren Dunes while we were there. In range of plenty of attractions, beaches, and eateries. Highly recommend the property, and the owners were easy to work with!

beautifully updated cottage

Every detail of this classic cottage has been meticulously updated, from the high-quality kitchen appliances, to the sleek new bathroom fixtures, to the exceptionally soft and comfortable beds and linens. The owners have thought of every detail to provide a comfortable and home-like stay. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, including a wide variety of seasonings. Our family of 4 enjoyed lounging on the sectional sofa and watching movies and sports on the fantastic 65" TV. This home is located in a quiet, heavily wooded neighborhood, a pleasant mile or so walk to the Painterville Drain area of the Dunes. It is also a short drive to all the many other attractions of Harbor Country. The owners were very kind and left us thoughtful welcome gifts and a binder stocked with local information. I highly recommend this home for any family or small group gathering!

Very clean, nicely done home.

The home was clean and well equipped for what we needed. It was close to the beach and had easy access to the town. Check in was a simple process and check out was nothing unexpected. The home was in a quiet area with a wonderful little fire pit area to relax around at night. The little extra touches made it really nice. Thank you for a great rental experience.

Sawyer area girls trip late August 2021

The property was lovely. It was as nice as the pictures. We spent early mornings enjoying the backyard. There were games and puzzles to enjoy in the evenings. It was close to the beaches, it was close to several wineries. There were a number of really nice restaurants that were close as well. There was enough room for privacy for the 4 of us, but enough open spaces to enjoy as well. The only thing that was missing was sticks to roast the marshmallows. But the atmosphere was perfect and the hosts were lovely and thoughtful. Bill and Shari were very communicative and sweet.

Peace and location

This property is quiet and relaxing; yet very accessible to many wonderful beaches, shops and restaurants within a short drive. The owners are very responsive and helpful; thoughtful as well! The home is wonderfully finished; clean, appointed with all of the kitchen items one could want for meal prep or grilling; excellent laundry set-up; beach essentials, etc. The beds are comfortable; bathrooms clean and with great showers. The presence of blooming flowers and herbs add to the experience of serenity. Many thanks to Bill and Shari for their dedication to keeping a lovely home for vacationers.

This place is a great location. It is just a short distance to the awesome beach at Warren Dunes. It is also close to many other fun and unique places. We love all the restaurants, wineries, and distilleries in the area. Our favorite is the Home and Garden Center at Sawyer.
