Perfectly situated on the east end of Destin, Miramar Beach is the perfect location for your next visit to Destin. With Miles of Sugar white sand and crystal clear water, beach side living simply doesn’t get any better. The beach front area in this community is nice and wide so you will not have any trouble find your spot to hunker down on the beach!

This area also boasts tons of shopping and dining options. The Silver Sands premium outlet mall is where you will find 120 designer outlets and 10 restaurant options (just 2 minutes from the heart of Miramar Beach!) In addition to the restaurants found at the outlet mall you will find countless dining and shopping options sprinkled throughout the Miramar beach community including two beachfront options within walking distance (the Whale's Tail and Pompano Joe's) If you are looking for a bit of nightlife head on over to the village at Baytowne wharf; here you will find numerous night spots, upscale dining, zip lines and activities for the kids along with fireworks all summer long! The Grand Blvd shopping center just outside the gates of Sandestin offers even more upscale dining options, boutique shopping and a brand new movie theater!

We were excited for our beach getaway but let down by the reality of the house. It was clearly infested with roaches, to the point where we had to go by raid to spray down certain areas - kitchen, dining, bathroom, bunk-bed room. the floors weren't also cleaned it seems prior to arrival. the rooms were definitely more dated and smaller than appeared in photos. The two positives were the easy check-in/check-out process and the location - was excellent being right off the beach and having private access. However, we would not be staying at this property again as we were disappointed with the overall experience/stay. Would recommend some maintenance updates and refreshing the houes overall. Also must get pest servicing done because we saw and killed dozens of bugs throughout the weekend.

The truth is, a very good experience, we enjoyed it

I would like to give a suggestion to improve to give them 5 stars if they could update the televisions it is already very difficult to use, and that they put more toilet paper only 1 is not enough

We had a wonderful time during our stay in this condo at Miramar Beach!! It was perfect size for our family and best of all was right on the beach which was so wonderful since we could step right off porch steps and onto beach!! Would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation

Overall this house was exactly what we needed for an enjoyable family beach vacation. We loved the private beach just a few steps from the house. The outdoor grilling area was great for the entire family and the amount of floats/chairs/kids toys was an unexpected surprise. The check in and out process was very easy and we appreciated the early check in option. However, the property itself needs some updates. The AC took awhile to cool down the place. There was a stain on the comforter and two tears on the bed skirt in the downstairs back bedroom. Also both coasters on the nightstand were broken. The fan in this bedroom can only be turned on with the lights. The place could also use a deep clean. There was a good amount of dust everywhere. Lastly, there were multiple nails coming up on the patio that could cause injuries. Overall we had a great trip and would consider staying there again but a little TLC could go a long way.

Old Property Despaerately needs remodelling

The unit online appears gorgeous , but do not let pictures decieve you. This was our first time to the beautiful Mirimar Beach/Destin area. For the high price per night that were we were charged i was so upset. There are beautiful new luxury units a block away charging the same or less. I have never been so dissatisfied and upset for my family as I was this trip. Mold was growing on lamp shades, bedding on beds were torn and ragged, plugs would not hold a charger as they wo fall out. The shower doors were rusted, shower curtains filthy, kitchen drawer falling in off tracks, utensils dirty, sofas were so filthy I put sheets on them to to allow my family to even sit on them. The recliner was broken. Mattresses were horrible. I went out and bought my own utensils and cookware to even use. The porchea were horrible for children and screws qeee coming up. Several cut feet on the nails. Windows were also filthy. It would have just been nice to have had them clean. Parking was very difficult as we had three vehicles.

Perfect location if you have teenagers

We loved the location for the 6 teenagers we had staying. Gas station across the street, coffee place 2 min walk. Being right on the beach was perfect for all of us. We were impressed that we couldn’t hear the neighbors on either side of us. A house full of sorority girls! Lol

Amazing house

Awesome house! Well worth the money. Sheets downstairs had lipstick and sand on them…we washed them no problem. They allowed us a late checkout! Very nice.

Last getaway of summer

This property was as advertised. The bedrooms are huge and there were plenty of beds for all. Easy check in and out. The grill needs to be replaced. It’s in bad shape. The common area furniture is stained from wet swimsuits I’m sure. Overall good stay.

Great Views ~ Just steps from the deck to the sand

We had a great time! Property is clean but a little dated. If I were going to offer a suggestion it would be to update the couch/loveseat or clean it & re-stuff the cushions. & replace most of the outdoor seating. Much time is spent on the porches/decks when you have these amazing views, Most of the outdoor furniture has rust or is just really old and would have been amazing if this area was nice. Overall it's a good property

Family Matters

We had a wonderful time at SW4. The property is right on the beach. Anything we needed, the staff at oceanreef was on top of it, including making sure we had a new grill because the other was rusted out. Our family vacation was the best because of them.

All it was cracked up to be

We stayed at this property with another family for 7 days. There were 12 of us. The layout of the house was perfect there was plenty of space. There was even a highchair and several TV trays in one of the closets. It was just as the description said on the website. Directly on the beach we were literally steps away wonderful balconies plenty of seating. There was no grill upon arrival and they quickly bought a brand new grill put it together and brought it to us immediately. It was perfect for large families and families with small children because there were not a lot of chatzkies to break. Very plain decor yet tasteful. Plenty of bedding towels comfortable pillows you name it, it was there. I would definitely recommend this place saw no issues whatsoever. Just be prepared for lots of stairs.

State of VRBO

Let me start out with some positives. First of all, there were so many towels!!! Plus, they were so soft and scrumptious! Usually, you have so few towels there isn’t enough for everyone and they are Brillo Pads! The rental was a great distance from the beach...right in the sand. There were plenty pots and pans blenders etc. Now for the negatives. The place was a filthy mess. Beer bottles and cigarette butts were left on the the deck. The floors were nasty. Even in the bedroom we were in there was something sticky on the floor and the room had a strange fowl odor. In another bedroom there was hair in the sheets and looked like they hadn’t been washed. The kitchen wasn’t clean along with all the appliances. We had to basically clean before groceries were brought in. The rugs and carpeting were very worn and maybe where some of the bad odor was coming from! The toilets, all three of them, poorly flushed! We held our breath every time someone used one. We did call the property manager and they said keep plunging them and hold the knob down. So annoying! A couple of days they called and said they were sending a plumber out to change out the toilets. We declined, due to the fact of the inconvenience with six adults and three kids in and out! Unfortunately, my husband had to deal with all of that most of one day. On check out day there was a discrepancy in the checkout time. VRBO said 4:00 and Ocean Reef said 10:00. We were preparing to leave at 10:00 when maintenance showed up before 10:00. He rudely came in while we were getting things together to pack. He even walked upstairs and barged in on my daughter, who was breastfeeding. No heads up at all. Also, the rinse off hose could have been more convenient to use. You had to walk to the back of the beach deck to turn on and off the water hose. If you take away us having to clean the place and dealing with the toilets we enjoyed our family vacation. More than anything the place needs to be updated and the cleaning crew could use some direction on more thorough cleaning!

Location and beach access was great! But very disappointed with the rental for the price we paid .There was trash (chip packages , water bottles, and cans) outside in the parking and off the back deck. We also found them under a bed and couch in the house. Interior and beds need to be greatly updated. Noisy, You can hear them walking around and using the stairs on the 2nd level and Loft when you are on the ground level. We had a great beach week and family time but would not rent or recommend this unit again.

Destin Family Vaca 2019!

This property was perfect for our family with lots of room for the kids to play. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. We enjoyed the outdoor decks and the beach front setting. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location

We were looking for a place where the beach was not crowded and where we could walk right out to it. This was exactly it! We had a blast ! The beach was nearly private and right off the back patio. The condo has plenty of room, and plenty of beds. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to the fact of it needs a little updating, mainly paint and bathrooms. For us it was all about the location, we will definitely be back.

Loved it!

This is probably nit picking but the upstairs bedroom (the loft) was very bright from the top windows and noise radiates up, which makes it hard to sleep! Other than that little nit pick, we all loved it!!!! Thank you for a great place to stay

the beach in your backyard

-the kitchen had all the amenities - wonderful appliances, pots, pans, etc. (could use plastic wear for beach/outside vs. glass) -very clean -towels and bedding provided - enough for everyone. Very clean -Washer and Dryer a bonus -Outdoor shower a bonus -Carpet in main living area was disgusting & dirty - had to vacuum constantly - super comfortable beds. Linens were clean - accessible to everything in the area - no need to drive to dinner or for a cup of coffee at the coffee shop - service/maintenance was easy to reach - when the kitchen sink backed up they were quickly available to fix it - easy check in/check out process

Emerald Waters and Sugar Sand Beach

It was wonderful! The only problem we could'nt stay longer. The water was so clear and beautiful and the best thing was it was right out our back door. We are definitely coming back!

Perfect multi family vacation experience!

My family of 4, my brother and two nieces, my parents, and my in-laws all stayed here for the week of July 23-29. It was fantastic! There was plenty of room inside the townhouse. Each family had a room of their own, and 2 of the king bed rooms also had a day bed with a trundle, so it was perfect for those of us with kids to easily share a room with our children. The onsite washer and dryer as well as dishwasher were wonderful assets to have as well. The short and easy access to the beach was awesome! I'm not sure if we were on a private beach area, but there was plenty of room on the beach and no overcrowding. Easy access to fun beach activities like parasailing, banana boats, and paddle board rental made for fun filled days. The sand was so white and soft. No shoes were needed! The water was a perfect temp, and we got to experience days with really fun, big waves, and days of perfectly calm water to snorkel and see fish, crabs, and sand dollars as well as stand up paddle board. Ocean Reef was a wonderful host who quickly took care of a garbage disposal problem, and made sure we had a requested grill at our unit. We will absolutely return to Sea Winds 4 in the future!
