Seamist Townhomes 6 Professionally Managed by Newman-Dailey Come and see what life is like on this side of paradise. Three levels, each with a furnished balcony, rest on white sand beaches just footsteps from the waters’ edge. Nothing compares to coral sunsets and crisp blue skies over the emerald waves of the Gulf. Not only is the view spectacular, this lovely townhome is so comfortable and cozy you’ll feel completely at ease. Special touches like unique furnishings, serene sea life paintings, and shells compliment the beautiful surroundings outdoors. Convenience is also essential here. A kitchen with everything you need for delicious meals, a washer and dryer, and televisions in practically every room are amongst the necessities necessary for a care-free vacation. And the location is also extremely convenient. Sitting in Miramar Beach on Scenic 98, Sea Mist is within walking distance to several local dining favorites and award winning golf courses. Book your stay now at Sea Mist Townhomes #6 and enjoy a memorable vacation in Destin, Florida. Bed Sizes/ Layout: First Floor: Third Bedroom – 2 Doubles Guest Bedroom with 2 Double beds must be accessed through garage. Second Floor: Sleeper Sofa Third Floor: Master Bedroom – King Second Bedroom – Queen This townhome requires a 7 night Saturday to Saturday stay during Spring Break and Summer. There is a 4 night requirement during the off seasons.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays. In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

Right on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay on the beach at this property! It accommodated our family perfectly!! It had everything we needed and was very clean! We will be back for sure!

Multi-Level Views of Miramar Beach

Beautiful water and sunset views from multi-level decks! Chair service at the beach was a nice added touch. Clean, conveniently located, and a garage to store your bicycles and gear too.

Not Again

Our townhouse was not clean. We had to buy a mop to clean the floors. The furniture was dirty so we covered it with sheets. The kitchen had a smell so we burned a candle the entire time we were there. And we had Rats that would eat our food at night and leave the evidence. I have pictures for proof.

We appreciate that you let us know about your stay. We have no record of any calls, emails, or SMS text messages regarding any of these issues during your stay. There are items that we could have addressed had we been aware of them. Providing our guests with clean and comfortable accommodation is our number one priority and if we fell short of our goal we sincerely apologize. Small beach mice are a common problem at beach front properties, but if we know about them steps can be taken that will effectively keep them out of the units. Newman-Dailey is open 7 days a week from 9 to 5 plus we have an after-hours on-call employee for emergencies. We are available to our guests 365 days a year, and we hope you will give us another opportunity to host you in the future!

Lied about HVAC working

The property manager indicated the HVAC was working when the HVAC indicated that HVAC was clearly not working and we were not getting the property to cool down.

While we appreciate your frustration, it’s important that we are talking about the same facts and issues. A problem with the A/C was reported at 10am on the day of your arrival. The condensate pump was replaced by the A/C vendor by 3:30 pm. Which was before the 4pm arrival time. Admittedly, this is the hottest time of the day and it probably took a while for the cooling to reach the target temperature. But at the time of check in, it was working, and temps were gradually dropping. The vendor returned the following day to conduct a suggested leak search, not because the A/C wasn’t operational. We have made several attempts to reach this guest, but our efforts to connect have yielded no results. We would like to reach this guest and hopefully earn their business again!

We loved our stay here. There were lots of towels available, and the starter kit was perfect to get going. Nothing beats the view, and being right on the beach!

Wonderful Stay w/ a workout!

The location was wonderful! The townhome was clean and quaint. However, the lighting on the back porch was so dim we had to purchase flashlights. With 3 flights of steep stairs and young children with us, that was a major concern.

Location Perfection!

I couldn’t have picked a better spot on the beach to stay on. I do think the kitchen could be a little cleaner or updated. There were some issues right when we arrived : cockroach, heat not working in lower level, no dustpan, but property management was amazing and responsive and dealt with it immediately on Monday morning. I would really give this place 4.5 stars overall but didn’t want to ding as overall was a lovely time.

Property was exactly as described. Has 4 large balconies with several seats and lounge chairs along with all beach amenities (floats, chairs, children’s toys), Wonderful staff to talk to when problems occur and they deal with any issues promptly. Great value, I would recommend!

Townhome on beach

My family and I which is a group of 6 had a great time at the SeaMist #6. The townhome is right off the beach. Yes, I read in the previous reviews that a room is connected to the garage and separate from the rest of the house but it worked out cause my older teenager stayed in there cause he wanted his peace. You can access that room from either the garage or the balcony which goes to the beach. I think the down fall was that I thought that the place was kinda secluded and ended up being the opposite. It is right off a major road and the other houses/townhomes are right next to each other.... like 6 feet apart. Pictures were kinda deceiving on that part. I had no clue those houses are so crammed. Looks like you can rent golf carts and bikes to ride the busy road. The stay was nice though. Looking out of the balcony to the right and left I saw major crowds on the beach but that was several houses or condos down. Had a good area to relax and kids to play. The beds were comfortable and clean. Good stay!

September 2019 Stay

This was probably the best vacation we as a family have had since we have been visiting for the past 5 years. The property was better than described. With 6 adults and 3 children ages 5 and 3, this property met our needs and expectations. The location was very convenient and the beach was just steps away. I highly recommend Seamist 6. The downstairs bedroom was super tiny. I took 4 seventeen year old girls that had to share it. If I had know that I might have done something different. The pictures online are misleading. Dishwasher didn’t work well. Beach access was amazing. We barely had to share it with anyone.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the downstairs bedroom with the two double beds. While, it may have indeed been crowded with 4 young women staying in it, the images state the room features two double beds and photography is taken from multiple angles. We’re sorry you felt these images were in some way misleading. Our local vacation specialists are available to answer questions and help direct potential guests to the best size and location for their group. We are happy to report the dishwasher is in proper working order. We hope you will give us another opportunity to host you in the future.

June 2019 Stay

5th year we visit and 5th different accommodations. Overall small for us 6 adults 4 children 6,4,2, 10 mos. Location was great right on beach private access two chairs and umbrella daily was a plus. Also able to set up our own tents and no need to rush out at crack of dawn to fight for space. House could use an overhaul of some cookware. Can opener rusty. Nice coffee maker. Bathrooms small. Third bedroom behind garage don’t remember reading that on website. No place for clothes in this bedroom. Nice decks on all levels especially the main deck. Overall lots of pluses. Worst thing was mice or some type of rodent that was reported but no luck eliminating. The damage done to food was something I’ve never seen! Large holes is bread avocados banana!! Disappointed previously not reported. Hard to believe just happened on our stay.

Nice house right on beach

We had a group of six ladies in town for a girls trip. The house was nice and looked as described by the photos. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to prepare a few meals during the week. We did notice after a few days that there must have been a mouse somewhere in the house because any food left on the counter showed visible signs that lead us to believe it was a mouse. The rooms were nice and well lit. We used some of the chairs and beach stuff daily. We also noticed that the downstairs deck needed some structural work. We didn’t report it as we didn’t think it was that big of a deal, however, the upstairs bathroom sink did not drain properly. Overall a great stay and we would most likely return.

Good - the view was fantastic.

Overall, our experience was good. We had a fabulous time. However, there were a few minor hitches along the way that can be easily fixed. GET NEW COUCHES! Most people spend the majority of their time in the living area and the couches are very uncomfortable, to the point we were sitting on the floor. Next, we found several cockroaches in the unit and dust bunnies throughout. This wasn't a huge deal but was concerning. The most upsetting thing about the trip was the construction workers hammering into the side of the house all day on Wedsenday and part of the day on Thursday. We have a 9 month old baby and this was not ideal. My whole family was very upset about it and we had to leave the house. We were not told about this in advance.

We are happy to report the owner has purchased new couches for the living area, and we have had the property resprayed for pests. We have also sent your review to the Director of Housekeeping to ensure the inspection/cleaning team at Seamist Townhomes is using our 65-point inspection check-list. Most importantly, we are very sorry about the construction. We were not informed there would be construction going on during your stay. Since these properties are individually owned, the owners are not required to inform neighboring units of their plans. We hope this will not deter you from staying with us again. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back to the beach.

It was nice and it was clean. Slightly run down.

A couple of the lights had bulbs which needed to be replaced. Heat lamp/light in shower didn’t work, the toilet in master bath ran constantly. Called more than once to have someone repair it as it was loud and disturbing at night. Was told someone had had a death in family. Totally sympathize with that situation but would think as big as you are that there would be more than one contractor/maintenance person. Also could not get some of the outside lights on beach side of house to work. Overall a great experience though! Thank you!

Loved the location

This unit worked out well for our family. We always love being able to step right out to the beach! We forgot our beach buckets,shovels etc and we were happy there were some there for us to use. Our blender stopped working one day and they replaced it within a couple of hours! Great trip!
