This 1850s cottage has been uniquely handcrafted with built-in cabinets, original hardwood floors, and nautical antique elements. Updated with modern amenities, including chef's kitchen. A lovely patio with outdoor shower, sitting area and dining table provides a wonderful outdoor oasis. A short walk to Newport Harbor, Downtown, Goat Island, Newport Shipyard, etc.

Main floor has living area with a seating area and a TV with access to streaming services and some live tv. Attached to the living area is a library, filled with nautical antiques and vintage books. Curl up on the built in twin bed with a book. Also on the main floor is a dining room that can comfortably sit 6, a half bathroom, stacked laundry and a beautiful chef's kitchen. Kitchen is well-equipped with Wolf Gourmet professional range, well-sharpened knives & cutlery, West Elm dinnerware, well-stocked spices and professional pans. The large farmhouse sink with garbage disposal makes cleaning a breeze. Appliances also include a Big Chill retro fridge with ice maker and Bosch dishwasher.

Kitchen has door to back fenced in patio, complete with 6-person dining table with umbrella, outdoor seating/lounge area, Weber gas stove, and outdoor shower. String lights, plants and lanterns turn the patio into an outdoor oasis at night.

The second floor has a primary bedroom (with tv) and 2nd bedroom, each with a Sealy Hybrid queen bed. A full bathroom with clawfoot tub, shower, and large reclaimed wood vanity connects the 2 bedrooms.

Located on Newport Harbor, just behind the Newport Marriott - there is no need to drive to popular destinations, just about EVERYTHING is within walking distance to the house:

This is not a "rental property" - it is our home! We will be away for parts of the year and want to share it with you. It is located in the quiet, historic neighborhood of the Point - and is not a party house. Month long stays only per zoning rules.
