Tranquility Hideaway is nestled in the valley of 50+ acres completely surrounded by heavily wooded hills. It is located on the original road that came into Nashville from the west. The farm next to us has the original Stage Coach house where travelers stayed on their journey's. This location provides peace and tranquility, while at the same time being so close to everything. There are multiple grocery stores, Walmart, Costco, Restaurants, Shopping, Movie Theatres, and even Ice skating within 3-5 Miles. The interstate can be accessed by two exits, both approximately 3-4 miles away and downtown Nashville is a short 15 minute drive to see and experience all that is Nashville! When you are worn out, you can return to your home away from home and put your feet up and relax on the large screened in back porch and enjoy the wildlife that includes, deer, turkey, groundhogs, armadillos, hawks, owls, woodpeckers, and so many other beautiful birds in our peaceful, secluded, valley. The home also provides three bedroom suites each with their own bathroom, walk in closets, and comfortable beds. There is a large garden tub and separate shower in the Master Suite. There is a large, fully stocked kitchen with plenty of room for many cooks, tasters, and gathering around the built in eating bar with stools. Four smart TV's and great internet for multiple devices make streaming and gaming a breeze. You truly can enjoy the best of both worlds of hustle and bustle as well as peace and quiet at your own pace and schedule! We have been Blessed to host families that were in the process of adopting, families going through heart transplants at Vanderbilt, Families relocating, travel nurses, Contractors working on the ever booming Nashville and so many more! This is a home that we lived in and have recently decided to make available. To see reviews on us and our other home on the same property (50 yards away) you can go to VRBO #874204. We, the owners, are located deeper into the property so they are close by (but not seen) should you need anything! We look forward to sharing our rare piece of tranquility tucked away inside of busy Nashville with you.

We love the setting. The house fit our needs very well with 3 bedrooms & full baths in each surrounding a center living/ family room. We’ll furnished, comfortable and our hosts were great.

So relaxing!

This is a great place to get away for the weekend or stay for a while. Surrounded by nature and away from it all, but close enough to get what you need. We went fishing at near by streams and lakes. There are parks that we would go bike riding and hiking. There is so much to do and adventure close by. Hosts are great!

Absolutely Amazing location! Great southern Hospitality!

There are 4 of us staying here more than enough room. The house is located about 5 miles from Walmart,Lowe’s restaurants etc.. but the house is tucked away in the woods. We’ve seen deer every day, rabbits and squirrels, this is just an amazing location and would recommend 100%! As a first time vrboer Dawn was absolutely amazing, great communication! She also gives her personal number for any questions or concerns! I can’t say enough about this experience! I will definitely be bringing my family down and staying here! Thank you Dawn for the amazing place!

Good deal for the space and quietness

It’s a very peaceful place, full of nature and well located in West Nashville. House is spacious and has everything needed. A/C stopped working due to a bad fuse, which owner immediately scheduled technician who quickly fixed it. The grounds of the property are very arduous and steep, making impossible to walk in high heels from house to the car. The entrance to the lot is rather bumpy and annoying.

Quiet and cozy

My daughter and I enjoyed our long stay. During the days, while my daughter attended a local summer camp, I enjoyed the peaceful environment (my favorite was the screened in porch), with a visit from a deer now and then. The owners are very nice and they quickly answered any questions I had. The location is great! Close to everything Nashville! I highly recommend this property!

Welcome to Tranquility Hideaway! We are Rod & Dawn and we bought this property in 2003 because we had been too far away from the interstate, too far from Nashville and tired of neighborhoods with houses on top of each other and cars speeding by. This was the answer to our dreams. It is so close to everything and yet you come home to a mountain retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. We lived in this house with our two children for 7 years and then we built our current house further back on the property so we are close by if you need anything, but not within sight for privacy. We hope you will enjoy this home as much as we did and our many visitors over the years. We know you have many choices and we would be grateful if you would choose to stay at our hideaway! This property is secluded, private, nested in the valley surrounded by thick forest yet so close to everything! The home is spacious with a double size Large living area, three bedroom suites with private bathrooms and walk in closets. A large kitchen for cooking and gathering and a great screened in porch with a grill for relaxing and enjoying the scenery and wildlife! And for those that just cannot do without...... we have great wifi to accommodate multiple devices on the internet and for streaming and gaming, and supporting four smart TV's and a DVD player.
