Open floor plan to allow for ease of stay with a big sectional couch for plenty of seating and a large dining room table to gather with family and friends. Oversized upstairs bedroom with 2 queen size beds. After a day on the beach for a swim, picnic or fishing off the pier, you can retreat to your private backyard that has a patio set, charcoal grill and bonfire pit. You can also enjoy the lake view from the front porch. Surrounding areas include numerous lakes for recreation and fishing. This vacation home is available all year to accommodate your stay for activities of year round hunting, fishing (ice), and winter fun. A 70 foot driveway enables you to park your boat, RV or snowmobile trailers. Power available for charging boat accessories. Itasca Headwaters is 30 min N, Park Rapids shopping 11 mi N and the grand Blueberry Pines Golf Course 3 mi N. Take the time to enjoy Menahga's local eateries including The Cottage House, Kahvila Cafe , Blueberry Pines Restaurant and the Menahga Bakery. We hope you enjoy your stay Up North!

Great place and location

Property was close to the lake and very clean.What is suggest lighting in the backyard along the walkway because it was really dark when coming back at night. Easy check-in and easy checkout. We’ll stay again.

Fabulous stay

We loved the house. It was perfect for my husband and me and our two adult daughters. It had everything we needed and plenty of bath towels! My husband loved the coffee selection. We would definitely stay again!

The short walk to the lake shore was enjoyed with coffee every morning. Coming back to a cozy cottage was very welcomed every night.

Family Vacation

Wonderful stay in a wonderful location. Nicely furnished, very clean, and had all of the amenities we needed. Just the right size for our 4 person family. It was so nice to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing place after being out all day. Great place that we hope to return to someday.

Fantastic Property

I grew up in this small town. This property is a very short walk to the beach, the VFW Club, the Bakery, Restaurant. It was so much fun to simply "walk the town" - starting and ending at THE LAKE! Place is 100% geared toward VRBO guests - it was clean, neat and well worth the price.

Great mini vacation spot

Provate sauna is the highlight for us, outdoor area is great. Furnace of the house is a little loud at night, but far from a deal breaker. Will come back in the summer time

Weekend reunion

We had an excellent stay for a weekend family reunion. The house comfortably accomodated our family of four, and provided an excellent location to get to local parks. We enjoyed the local bakery and coffee house, as well as being able to prepare some of our own meals. We would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Small town peaceful getaway

We kayaked, hiked and enjoyed a local concert by the lake. Unplugged for the long weekend. Nice to not have the temptation to watch television. Comfortable and clean home.

Cozy and comfortable

This property is clean and comfortable. Only thing missing was a tv. We just had 1 teenager with and our stay was short so we didn't miss it. It probably said no tv in the description and I didn't notice. Very nice cabin with everything you need.

In the heart of Menahga

My parents, two children, and I visited Menahga for 5 days to see my 90 year old grandmother and other family. We needed a space for naps, meals, and hanging out, and Janelle and Pam’s rental delivered everything we needed. They both were easy to communicate with when any issues came up and they even reached out to make sure we were taken care of when there was a tornado warning during one of our first nights. We appreciated the special touches like the coffee bar and comfortable bedding. The location was also ideal - we walked to talk playgrounds near the house and were close enough to walk to my grandmother’s apartment. I would recommend this rental if you are in the area!

Great Stay.

We stayed here for the MidSummer Music Festival and the cabin was perfect. The house is stocked well for a short stay with coffee, snacks, plenty of towels and games. The back yard is private and perfect for morning coffee. Would absolutely stay here again.
