Great location and space

We loved the location! An easy walk to the Louvre, right across from a grocery store and near two great metro stops. The big red door makes it easy to find in between two restaurants. The apartment is super spacious with a big commons area and place to eat. It is on the 3rd floor with the most charming view!!!

Perfect Experience

Anne and Francois were excellent hosts. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in their flat. The location was great, close to the metro, close to restaurants and cafes. The flat was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We even cooked a meal in the cute kitchen and made coffee every morning. It was a memorable and lovely stay. Thank you! Merci!

Incredible apartment in the best part of Paris

Beautiful apartment just a few minute walk from the Louvre. Surrounded by restaurants and a grocery store just a few steps away. Quite convenient to have a large Westfield shopping mall just a 5 min walk away. Perfect for larger groups with 4 bedrooms which is almost impossible to find in central Paris and certainly in the 1st arrondissement. Anne is a great host who is very responsive. Highly recommended !!!

Unbeatable location!

Pros: location within a stones’ throw of the Louvre, easy walking distance to many cafes and grocery store. Close to train station. Spacious with working washing machine. The owner was lovely and helpful. Quiet in the night, safe. Cons: on 3rd level with 6 flights of stairs and no lift, not suitable for those with mobility issues. Being renovated so dusty and not much furniture.

Beautiful place in the heart of Paris

This apartment is a wonderful place to stay with a kind and helpful owner! There are 3 restaurants immediately downstairs as well as countless other cafes and boulangeries nearby within a block. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the Louvre or to the Seine. 3 train stations are nearby. We were there for a week, and the location could not be better. There is a lot of space with a large living room and bedrooms, as well as a kitchen that had everything we needed. And many windows are throughout, bringing great natural light. We would hope to stay there again in the future.

Flat Near Louvre

The flat was beautiful, in a historic district, and convenient for activities. The flat was clean and had a very nice coffee machine. Communication was great with the host. The four star rating is due to the flat having limited accommodations that did not accommodate 6 people (limited quantity of towels, chairs, toilet paper, etc). Additionally, the ad shows a shower/bath but there was no shower curtain provided to enable a shower.

Dear Darla, thanks for your comment. The number of available towels and others has been increased. I'm not sure to understand the point about the shower. There is a bathtub where you can have both bath and shower, just as shown on the pictures. A bientôt !

Great location but sparse inside, not for everyone.This place is near the Louvre. Great location. Great view. No AC. Great open windows that create breeze. But if you have small children, the windows can present a hazard. No elevator. 4 flight walk up.No chairs other than a couch in the main living room.No stand up shower. Does have a bath that is not the easiest to get in and out of.The washing machine did not work while we were there.The beds are very comfortable.It looks like it is in the middle of a renovation.

Spacious apt but missing amenities

The apartment was spacious and clean and in a great location but there were a few minor inconveniences. The apartment seemed in a state of construction with exposed nails, lumber, etc. The kitchen was missing a frying pan. The toilet was constantly running so the water needed to be turned off after each use. And there was no toilet paper or hand soap requiring us to go a night without since we arrived late once the stores had closed. That said, the hosts were great at communicating and helping us to track down the WiFi password (although it would’ve been more convenient if it had been emailed to us as we needed to search through the cupboards to find it). The apartment was freezing cold but that’s because the building turned off the heat in March and not the fault of the owners. The location was unbeatable, minutes to the Louvre and many cafes and restaurants. Having three bedrooms was helpful for giving our two kids their own space. The brasserie below the flat was also great and convenient.

It was in a cupboard in the bedroom. I will check it properly next time. For the wifi code, you are totally right! I will send it by mail before the renting. The location is great and the main room in the apartment is spacious with a beautiful view of very pretty buildings. There were several issues, however, which would prevent us from returning. First, in two of the three bedrooms the curtains were hanging down from the curtain railings, so you could not draw the curtains and light flooded into the rooms at night. I would have fixed them myself but the windows are so high you cannot reach without a ladder. In the bathroom there was no shower curtain and no knob to put the shower head on to so bathing was difficult. The cutlery and crockery was not clean in the kitchen - we re-washed everything when we arrived prior to use. I had to ask the hosts for directions to the apartment and for internet details (most hosts spontaneously provide these) and there was no response when I asked for the curtain to be fixed. The kitchen had a tiny travel kettle and an espresso machine but no other ways to make coffee. In the bedrooms there was no where to hang clothes and no drawer space provided at all so we lived out of suitcases for the entire stay. We felt the hosts put very little effort into the place and it was quite run down. Nor did the hosts provide any welcome details (restaurant recommendations, maps etc). which other hosts usually provide. We would give this a lower rating than 3 stars were it not for the excellent location.

Impeccably clean, beautiful and in the best location! This flat is within walking distance to everything but outside of the heavy tourist districts so you experience a French neighborhood. The price is very reasonable. I recommend travelers bring their own pillows and towels or buy some at a nearby shop and leave them at the flat. The shower head does not hang on the wall so you need to be able to physically maneuver the bath/shower situation. I would rent this flat again any day and I am incredibly grateful for our stay.
