Escape to Big Bear Lake to this wonderful 5-bedroom, 4-bath vacation home! This beautifully decorated ~2000-square-foot home plus a 400-square-foot game room comfortably accommodates 11 guests for a memorable getaway. Fabulous indoor and outdoor amenities include a private hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, arcade console, outdoor gas BBQ grill, basketball and volleyball court, and a gourmet kitchen. You can have the time of your life in Big Bear without even having to leave the property.

The Big Bear Farmhouse is surrounded by over 200 towering pine and cypress trees on a large, 1-acre private lot. The beautifully restored 1920ā€™s Craftsman farmhouse maintains its charm and history with the original hardwood floors, woodwork and casement windows, yet features luxurious upgrades and modern appliances. This home is ideally situated in the heart of Big Bear Lake, just minutes to all-season recreation and entertainment, including Big Bear Lake Pine Knot Marina (.8 miles), 2 world class ski resorts (Snow Summit 1.3 miles; Bear Mountain 3 miles), the Village Shops & Restaurants (.8 miles), and so much more.

The Main Level:
The main living room offers ample comfortable lounge seating on plush leather furniture fixed before the wood-burning fireplace and flat-screen Smart TV with cable. Through the formal dining room, youā€™ll find the fully equipped kitchen, featuring high-end stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse kitchen sink, and ample cooking supplies. You can enjoy family meals together at either the formal dining table, which can seat 10, or the more casual 6-person kitchen table. Off to the dining room, there is a bright and airy sunroom with a reading nook and chess table. There are also two full bathrooms on the main level.

The Bedrooms:
This home offers 5 bedrooms (2 downstairs and 3 upstairs) with plush mattresses, premium linens, and comfortable bedding.

-Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a flat-screen Smart Samsung TV, a ceiling fan, and a CA king-sized bed with an attached ensuite bathroom and shower with direct private access to the back yard deck and heated spa.

-2nd Bedroom:
The second bedroom, also located on the main level, has a ceiling fan, a flat-screen Smart Samsung TV, and a California king-sized bed. The bedroom utilizes a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

-3rd Bedroom:
The third bedroom, located on the second floor, features a ceiling fan, a portable air conditioning unit, a smart Samsung TV, and a California king-sized bed.

4th and 5th Bedrooms:
Children in your group will have a blast in the other two upstairs bunk bedrooms made especially for them! The boysā€™ room features a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and the girlsā€™ room boasts a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-sized trundle bed.

-Upstairs Bathrooms:
Upstairs, there is a shared hallway bathroom with a shower and another hallway bathroom with a luxurious clawfoot bathtub, which also houses the washer and dryer.

The 1 Acre Private Yard:
The exterior space is an outdoor lover's paradise, offering comfortable patio seating, a gas grill, a ping pong table, and a private hot tub to keep you comfortable and entertained. There's even a private sledding hill in the backyard. We even provide the sleds! For more entertainment, shoot some hoops outside on the basketball hoop, play ping pong, volleyball, badminton, or a game of horseshoes, and enjoy some quality time with your family and friends.

The Private Detached Game Room:
Separate from the main home is a historic fishing cabin, which was recently converted into a brand new game room. The 400+ square foot game room features comfortable seating, a 65" flat screen Smart TV with cable, a pool table, dart board, a pot belly stove (heater), a foosball table, and a Street Fighter II arcade console. Additionally, you will find lots of DVD's, kid's toys, and board games to keep you and your guests entertained.

Great experience!

My friends and I went to Big Bear for a weekend trip. The place fit all of us nicely! The place was spacious and clean. The owner was very considerate, respectful and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience! I would stay at the farmhouse again on our next trip!

The Stay was amazing!

We loved our stay at the Big Bear Farmhouse! The house was very clean, great amount of bedrooms, very comfortable beds. The home supplies everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The game room and trampoline was a HUGE hit with the kids and a savior for the adults for entertainment. Overall a very cozy mountain getaway and Nick was very accommodating,always easy to reach. Cant wait to go back when there's snow. :)

All 8 of us had a wonderful time playing pool, ping pong, basketball, watching movies, and using the hot tub.

This was a multi-generation vacation. The house was perfect for all 8 of us. We were provided with linens, towels, bathroom necessities and a great coffee maker. Although we didn't use the pots, pans, dishes, utensils, cutlery, and cups and glasses, they were all there and they were provided. The game room as fantastic and got a lot of use. We will definitely plan to go back to the Big Bear Farmhouse.

We loved it!! The house and game room were very charming and suprisingly private. The host was very flexible and "without asking" offerd us early check in.. We arrived in town around 2pm and check in was at 4pm. Also, we needed to bring our small dog last minute. Unfortunately, our dog sitter cancelled the day of check in and the host made an exception for us to bring her with, which we really appreciated!The main house was perfect, more than enough rooms and bathrooms for any large family or party! Central ac and heating, the game room and jacuzzi were an added bonus for the adults and the kids entertainment and comfort. plus there were tons of games card/board games and toys in the mainhouse which kept the kids entertained, as we cooked our thanksgiving feast. There were multiple tables throughout the dinning, sun room and kitchen which helped facilitate easy seating for our thanksgiving feast aswell and food set up. "Which made things very simplified"! The stove was perfect size for us to cook said feast "a convection oven" sped up the process! The one thing i wished we had more of in the kitchen was counter space, It felt very limited when prepping all the side dishes but again was very vozy, and charming! Honestly, i could only say good things about the house and host! We would definitely stay again giving the need arise!

Family Comes First

The Big Bear Farmhouse provided the perfect location and ambiance for two families to spend three days togetherā€”sharing stories by the crackling fireplace, enjoying a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner that was a joy to prepare with the upscale appliances and table settings. The large dining room table was perfect to eat our meals with a place for everyoneā€”even my four-month old granddaughterā€”her first time ever in a high chair. There was even a white noise machine and pack and play for her, making a perfect night for all of us. The separate game room was terrific for some of our group to be entertained with pool, darts, other games and it allowed some of us to prepare the dinner while others kept busy with games. The hot tub was the perfect finale during a warm afternoon and the gas grill allowed a separate cooking space when the kitchen was used to the fullest!

Hello! We went for a long weekend for a family birthday. The game room was great & had a nice AC unit. The house was cozy.Check in was easy. Full kitchen, nice big table to hang out at, cozy living room, good coffee, bbq was clean, wifi worked, plenty of parking, jacuzzi was nice, close to food and shopping. Basket ball hoop and ping pong table got some love. Hammocks were out for the last evening. Those were cool. The littles ran around.The room at the top of the stairs is the coolest with its window AC. The downstairs room to the right hand side was super hot. Homeowner provided fans for the rooms and the living room. Thank goodness!The property is non smoking so the smokers we had spent the days/evenings smoking in the vehicles in the drivewayā€¦on the last evening we used the bbq and jacuzzi and found bud nug crumbs on the back table and seatsā€¦we didnā€™t realize we could have smoked on the back patio, lol. I wasnā€™t impressed with their cleaning service and let the host know that if they were being charged that they should have a discussion with their provider. (There was trash under a couple of beds and dust bunnies galore.) Ants showed up when we started cooking, they were hungry too. The coolest thing was the little chipmunks and squirrels running around in the early mornings. And we saw a coyote every morning and evening walking across the property. I do recommend the host and the home. Host was very helpful prior to our stay because Iā€™m a newbie with VRBO.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at BIg Bear Farmhouse! Our group of 8 adults and 2 kids was comfortably accommodated with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the layout was spacious and inviting, and the home was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. There were more than enough towels, cookware, pans, and kitchen essentials ā€” it truly felt like a home away from home. One of our absolute favorite features was the separate game room! It was such a fun bonus and gave both the kids and adults their own space to unwind and have a great time. It really elevated the whole experience and made the stay even more memorable. Another huge highlight was the outdoor space. Nearly an acre of land in Big Bear is such a rare find! The kids had so much room to run and play, and there were tons of toys and activities to keep them entertained the entire time. It made traveling with little ones so easy and enjoyable. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-equipped, spacious, and perfect for large families or groups. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Big Bear escape!

Best weekend ever!

We stayed at the farmhouse for my sons 8th birthdayā€¦ we came a little too early and there was no snow but he had fun with his cousins anyways because the farmhouse had a game room that was super cool and the kids played in there all weekend long. Theres a pool table, foosball table, darts and basketball hoop and plenty of space for the kids to run around outside. They played in the jacuzzi as well. Although we wish there was snow all the kids still had a blast. The hide is fully stocked with pots pans and even a rice cooker that came in handy. We had such a great time and will definitely come back when thereā€™s snow as we will want to sled in the back yard. Also love the fact that the location is walking distance to the village. Definitely would recommend anyone with kids to stay here.

This Amazing Home will Not Disappoint!

Everything about The Big Bear Farmhouse was phenomenal. The home was clean and very spacious for our family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the heated spa and the kids seemed to enjoy the game room (pool table, foosball table, darts & even an arcade game console). We loved that the game room was separate from the main house. There's plenty of private backyard space with hills to sled. Arrival and check in was easy and the neighborhood and location was perfect. It was so close to the Village and the ski resort. Firewood was available on site, so we relaxed by the fire at night. Nick was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions we had. Everything was top notch and professional. I highly recommend this home! We definitely will be back. Thank you Nick for sharing your home with us.
