Come unwind in our one-of-a-kind Treehouse getaway. Located more than 1/4 Mile off the county road, you will only hear the birds chirping as you sit on one of your 3 covered patios taking in the beauty of the surrounding hardwoods and ferns. Just 6 minutes to Ohiopyle State Park and under 20 minutes to Frank Lloyd Wrights Falling Water and 8 Minutes to FLW’s Kentuck Knob, Laurel Caverns and Lady Luck Casino.

Enjoy a morning hike on our mile long private hiking trail that will take you across a clear mountain stream, into the canopies of the mountain laurels and through a rock garden boulder field. Take a dip in the hot tub to relax after a long hike.
Note* Owners have one outside security camera at parking area. Sorry NO PETS.

This property was amazing and the hosts are very nice and have little notes around to help with common questions. It was the best stay I have had yet! The only advice I can give to anyone renting is just to make sure to screen shot the check in instructions with the door pin because you may not have service when you get there. I made the mistake of not doing it and had to bother the owners but they were extremely nice and gave me the code.

The treehouse is completely charming and has everything one needs. The view of the woods is absolutely beautiful too! All the gnomes hidden around the property adds a nice whimsical touch.

I wish there was an option to select 6 stars! This treehouse was such a special place to stay, and we didn’t want to leave. My son actually got emotional when it was time to go — I think that says everything!The porch swing and fire pit were definite highlights, and the creative troll-finding hike through the woods was a huge hit with the kids. We also really appreciated all of the thoughtful little notes throughout the house. Those personal touches made the stay feel even more welcoming and special.It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this experience. We made some great memories here and would absolutely love to come back!

Wow! What a gem! This property was even better than expected. It was incredibly clean and very well maintained. It also had absolutely everything we could have needed including everything to make s’mores over the fire. We can’t wait to come back!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend here. Very clean and very beautiful. Had some encounters with squirrels and deer. They have a private trail, Which is very beginner friendly so don't be afraid to try it out. They also gave us some local beers and ingredients for s'mores. The hot tub felt amazing especially after I slept wrong one night. They also provide a binder with locations for things such as food, activities, and even ideas for rainy days. 10/10 would definitely recommend. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Definitely will stay again and possibly check out their other rental.

The Ohiopyle Treehouse was the perfect spot for my family of 4. My children loved the gnome theme - especially the trail in the woods and the decorations in the house and yard. The house was very clean and well stocked. I cannot recommend this treehouse enough! Already sent the booking link to multiple friends! Perfect home base for our 2 night trip to Ohiopyle where we saw Fallingwater and hiked Cucumber Falls and the Natural Slides.

Spent a long weekend with family in this lovely house amongst the trees. The space was well appointed, very clean and sooo very relaxing. The back deck was great for eating and thunderstorm watching. The hot tub and fire pit brought luxury and camping together. Great communication and super location that balanced quiet surroundings with quick access on site trails, Fallingwater and Ohiopyle State Park activities. Highly recommend!!

Clean rooms, everything needed for cooking and outdoor fires. My kids loved finding the gnomes and sleeping in the loft beds. I loved the trails, hot tub and bench swing by the fire. Would love to stay again.

We had an excellent stay! Not only was the property well maintained, but the attention to detail & craftsmanship of the home is amazing. Truly a beautiful vacation home! The kitchen had extremely useful equipment & essentials, making food preparation feel like home. The trails are incredible & my little one loved searching for “Lost Gnomes”We will definitely be booking again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the luxury treehouse. It’s super cute with all the interior features and decor. We definitely will recommend it to others. Thank you for making everything so perfect for our stay. Hot tub was perfect although a few of us are short and the water level was a bit high for us but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it both nights.

The Ohiopyle Treehouse was one of the best places we have stayed mostly due to the owners attention to detail making it feel like home. The cabin was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We really appreciated the s’mores and local beers provided by the hosts! The hot tub was perfect. We really enjoyed sipping coffee on the back deck overlooking the woods every morning. Very peaceful! Especially in the rain! The trails throughout the woods were an adorable touch! We would absolutely stay here again and would also be interested in the hobbit house!

This treehouse was the perfect retreat for my family. The little gnomes and fairies brought whimsy to the experience and felt magical to my kids. My favorite memory is seeing my children snuggle on the hanging bed while eating breakfast. The property owners were responsive and proactive.

We had a great time unwinding from city life and disconnecting from technology. The hot tub and fire pit were an amazing way to end the night. The walk through the woods was peaceful and easy to navigate. It was so nice to be greeted with s’mores stuff and coffee. All the little touches were much appreciated.

Bob and Nina purchased this 40 acre tract of land in 2005 and built their home on the southern side of the property. They have slowly cleared and developed the property with a unique hiking trail and stream crossing to enjoy all of what their property has to offer. In 2018 they decided that they wanted to share this beautiful sanctuary with others by building a unique space that they could offer guests on a weekly rental basis. They decided that a Treehouse would offer the most unique experience and allow their guest to truly experience nature. Due to the unique nature of the project and the design and permitting process...it was lengthy to say the least and Bob (a former custom home builder) and Nina started construction in the summer of 2020. The treehouse was completed in June of 2021. The Treehouse is truly magical....and they can not wait to share their space and property with their guests. The property consists of a full kitchen, one full bath with shower, large living room with vaulted ceiling, and two bedrooms (both of which are on the 2nd floor),

You won't find a more unique space to relax in the Laurel Highlands. One of the few treehouses in the area that is actually supported by trees. You will be nestled in the hard woods and overlook a mountain stream valley filled with ferns and mountain laurels and have the opportunity to explore the property on your own private hiking trail. Almost all of the furniture was built by the owner and every small detail was thought of to make your experience one that won't be forgotten.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The property is centrally located close to everything in the Laurel Highlands. 6 minutes to Ohiopyle (PA's Largest State Park), 9 Minutes to Frank Lloyd Writes Kentuck Knob, 19 Minutes to Frank Lloyd Writes Fallingwater, 6 Minutes to Fort Necessity National Battlefield….and so much more. The property is secluded and far off of the road with no noise but that of nature. Your nearly mile long private trail system will allow you to explore the Appalachian mountains and take you across Cucumber Run stream which is the main stream feeding Cucumber Falls in Ohiopyle. The property also has a custom made cylindrical firepit with animals, trees, and cabins cut into the shape that is truly mesmerizing during your evening camp fire. You can also enjoy the cozy hot tub perched on the hillside overlooking the forest valley below.
