Bighorn is an incredible Architectural Digest Home featuring a custom contemporary design by Holden & Johnson Architects. The luxury home is a golfer's dream with a spectacular great room offering unparalleled views of the 10th and 18th fairways of the TPC Stadium Course.
The space
This residence stands apart. Adorned with pops of vibrant wallpaper, stylish art prints and mod furniture, this home is a bright burst of color and personality. Enter through the private gates to dramatic waterways flanking the entry door. Once inside, the expansive breathtaking golf course and mountain views will take your breath away! Walls of glass across the entire back immerse the home with natural light.

The home features a resort-like outdoor entertainment area features a large barbecue area with bar seating, sunken inoperable fire pit, and a sumptuous salt-water pool/spa (no jets in spa) with bridge, waterfall, and tanning shelf.

Accommodations

Large bedrooms accommodate guests, each with luxury mattresses, Smart TVs and air conditioning:

Master Suite: Cal King bed, private sitting room with sofa bed (queen size) TV and writing desk, and a beautifully remodeled en-suite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower and separate tub. The suite opens out to the backyard.
Second Master: Cal King bed, en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, and private patio.

In total, the home offers 2 cal king beds, 1 queen sofa bed, 3 queen beds, 1 full bed.

This residence also features a convenient private washer and dryer along with a spacious kitchen pantry. The expansive driveway provides room for up to 4 vehicles, giving you the freedom to explore the surrounding desert and resort areas.

Attractions abound locally: this home offers excellent access to El Paseo and Old Town La Quinta areas with world-class dining and shopping options. For golfers, the home is minutes from PGA West with three public courses to choose from; The TPC Stadium, The Greg Norman, and The Jack Nicklaus Tournament.

Enjoy some of the many world-class events like the Humana Challenge (previously the Bob Hope Classic). Or if you enjoy tennis, minutes away is the home of the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Classic at Indian Wells Top Rated Tennis Stadium, held early to mid-March, with over 300 of the top-rated tennis players in the world.

In April, Coachella and Stagecoach Music Festivals are just minutes down the road. The festivals take place at the famous Empire Polo Club, where you can also enjoy top-ranked polo matches free of charge and have a tailgate picnic with your friends at the same time!

For those who enjoy the outdoors, Joshua Tree National Park is less than one hour away, along with gorgeous Mt. San Jacinto which is easily accessible from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

The home is fully furnished and equipped with:

Appliances: a refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, electric kettle, traditional drip coffee maker (ground beans), toaster, and blender. Please check with us regarding additional appliances.

Dining Essentials: basic dining, cooking and serving essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses, cooking utensils and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring spoons and more. We also provide a spice rack, salt and pepper. No other cooking essentials or supplies are provided (oil, sprays or other cooking ingredients, foil, cling wrap, etc.).

Bath and Laundry:
The property is equipped with a specific quantity of bath and pool towels to accommodate the maximum occupancy of the home. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. There are also fully equipped laundry rooms with washer, dryer, ironing board and iron.

House Supplies:
Your home will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry pods and dryer sheets.

Health and Safety

We want you to feel confident when renting this home. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our guests' health and safety.

Each rental property is thoroughly cleaned after every reservation to ensure your health and safety:
All surfaces disinfected with anti-bacterial solutions
HVAC filters changed frequently
Pool is cleaned twice weekly
Pool heating-Please keep in mind, mid-winter, larger pools will have a hard time even reaching mid-80's, pool temperature is not guaranteed, however, generally low to mid 80's is common, even mid-winter.
Vendors and staff are equipped with protective gear such as face masks and gloves

Guest Access

Additional guests have access to the entire estate, as well as the entire property. The villa is accessible using a keyless system that allows entry into the estate through your entire stay. The code changes for every reservation, ensuring safety and privacy. We will issue your code prior to your arrival, ensuring a quick and easy check-in.

Important: Sound Ordinance

City of La Quinta Ordinance #9 does not permit outdoor music or amplified sound at any time (day or night), including but not limited to cell phones, bluetooth speakers, or outdoor TVs. In addition, any amplified sound indoors may not be heard outside. City fines start at $1,000 and are strictly enforced.

A 10% City of La Quinta Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) will be added to your stay as required by law

Additional rules

• NO OUTDOOR MUSIC/NOISE. The City of La Quinta has very strict regulations about noise/music. No outdoor music is allowed and a fine of $1,500 will be charged directly to the guests.
• NO SMOKING. All our properties have a no smoking policy. Smoking will result in a $1,500 fine.
• NO PARTIES: We do not allow parties/events at this property, please respect occupancy limits and noise ordinance.
• CHECK-IN: The City of La Quinta requires a copy of an ID prior check-in.
• MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT. The city of La Quinta requires signer to be 25 years of age.
• All locked closets to remain locked.
• All gas supplied to fireplace or barbecue should be off when not in use.
• Guests agree to abide by all City of La Quinta and PGA West Stadium HOA rules and regulations.
• Unreturned garage remote will be charged a $25 fee.
• Long term guests to pay 1x weekly cleaning fee, $300 each week.
• Home is not child proof, back yard does not have a pool gate, fence, nor supervision. Owner holds no liability. Some pets ok upon request. Extra charge for heating pool $150/per day and Pet Fee $250/Per month.
• There is a limit of 3 overnight vehicles per house and the HOA is against street parking unless absolutely necessary. Do not park in front of mail boxes, fire hydrants and don't block drive way.
If you have more than 3 cars you need to park at least 1 in the garage overnight, up to 2 cars can fit in the garage.
• CHARGES FOR VIOLATIONS of house rules are strictly enforced. You can expect to be fined for smoking, damages to property, excess trash, extra cleaning, over occupying, outdoor music, large parties, moving furniture, pets without consent or violations of any kind to our house rule or signed agreement. Fines and violations can range from $150 to $10,000 based on severity of violation of house rules and damages incurred. Prior to check-in tenant booking is required to sign a standard hold harmless agreement.

An Oasis in La Quinta!!

We had an incredible girls weekend here in La Quinta! Fabulous views, pool and open living/kitchen space that was perfect for entertaining. It was a great layout for a private chef with plenty of workspace and cooking essentials. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Lauren was very responsive and generous with an early check-in time. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful escape

We loved the house and gardens and the views were spectacular. The beds were so comfortable and the house was very spacious and beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings. Walking around the neighborhood was fun, the neighbors were all super friendly. Only wish the kitchen had more gourmet gadgets like a good strong blender for smoothies, garlic press, more chef knives etc, since we love to cook but we made do with what was there. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful Home and View!

We really enjoyed our month long stay and wish we could have stayed longer. This home is very large and the rooms are spacious. We had 5 adults for the duration of our stay and at times 8 adults plus a 3-year-old. We never felt crowded. The home is comfortably furnished inside and out. It has all the kitchen appliances you might need and is well stocked with sundries (though there are so many cupboards and storage locations it may take a bit to find what you're looking for). The view is exceptional. You can wake to the sunrise lighting the mountains, spend the day sitting out watching golfers hit into the green, enjoy the sunset while watching a night heron dive fishing, or have the surprise spectacle of a SpaceX launch fill the sky. When we had questions, needed expedited pool cleanup after a windstorm, or needed a quest added to the gate access list on very short notice, Lauren was quick to respond and take care of it.

Perfect Setting

This beautifully designed home was lovely and spacious for 8 people. We had the pleasure of staying at the house during the PGA Championship Tour and felt we had the best seat in the house overlooking the golf course. The house is was conveniently located to everything and we could not have asked for more.
