Powell Ranch-Pool & Jacuzzi on Beautiful Farm

We have a quiet Farm house in the foothills outside of Exeter , California for rent by the night or week or even longer stays. This house can comfortably sleep 4 people including a fold out couch in the living room that sleeps an additional 2 people if needed. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom . It is approximately a 20 minute drive to entrance of Sequoia National Park, 15 minutes to Three Rivers and 10 minute drive to Lake Kaweah. Enjoy the hot tub after a day of hiking ; Enjoy corn toss, darts, bocce ball or just throw the football on our grassy area. Swimming pool ; Hands-On Farm Animal Feeding Experience-Complimentary; Enjoy farm with our cow , goats, chickens, ducks and fish/Turtles pond.

Wonderful place to stay

My wife and I stayed here with our 2-year old son. He loved it. Each day we went out several times to see all the animals. It's a beautiful, tranquil property to stay and conveniently located near Sequoia National Park for a day of hiking. Highly recommend staying here!

Country Escape

Wish we would’ve stayed longer! The property was gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. Very well maintained. So happy we found this gem, we would definitely book here again.

The goats!

We loved our stay at the ranch. My kids loved running around and getting to feed the goats. I loved all the fruit trees - the best orange I’ve ever eaten! It’s about 25 minutes to the gate of Sequoia NP, then it takes another hour to get to the big tree when you’re inside the park. Overall it was peaceful and lovely We loved eating outside under the pergola too. And the fresh chicken eggs! Vivian was so responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Paradise!

Beautiful property and rental located within easy distance to Sequoia NP, Exeter, Three Rivers and numerous hiking trails. Truly an oasis surrounded by nature. We have stayed twice and it is now a family tradition. Great communication and hospitality from hosts.

Fantastic little farm stay!

We had a great time at this fantastic property! Our toddler loved the goats and ducks. Fruit trees all over the property and the pool and hot tub were fun. Vivian has a ton of different activity options. The bedrooms in the house were really nice and everything was clean. She delivered farm fresh eggs to us during our stay as well. We loved staying here, highly recommend!

Core memories…

This property is simply magical! We were blessed with incredible sunrises and sunsets. Our kids loved our time at the pool, playing giant chess, and feeding the animals with Becca. I was grateful to soak in the hot tub after two full days of strenuous hiking at Yosemite! We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and grill as well. It was an amazing way to end our California National Park adventure!

Highly recommend this beautiful property!

Everything about the is place was perfect for our family (3 tweens). It was a great location to enter Sequoia and communication with the owner was easy (but not even necessary). We all loved the pool, swings, animals, and yard games! The property had everything we needed and the interior was beautiful. It was great to have AC and the beds were comfy (even the pullout sofa bed). We wish we could have stayed longer to have more fun on the property.

Vacation to see Parks

The property was beautiful, this area of California is fantastic. Close to sequoia national park. Host was very generous and left trail mix bars, wine and a dozen fresh eggs. Lots of fruit trees on the property that if in season you can pick from. A second bath would be helpful but with 4 adults we got used to rotating times.

Great stay, great communication!

Our stay was great! We arrived and Becca was there because we requested an animal tour, if you have kids it’s a must if it’s available! Becca was great and wonderful with the kiddos! We had a few bumps at the beginning, not the owners fault but communication was quick and problem was fixed fast as well. Great location and the views amazing. The extras make this place even better. Well thought out rental! Thanks Vivian and thanks Becca for us!

California Explorers Vacation

Family vacation to the National Parks of California and this area was our first stop and we had a great experience. The property is in a quiet country area with great amenities. The property manager Becca was very nice and provided us with fresh eggs from the farm chickens. We hiked and saw the amazing sequoias that pictures cannot even begin to describe! We had a day of relaxing and enjoying the amenities of the property and played croquet-darts-corn hole and bocce ball. The hot tub was so nice to unwind at the end of the day. With (5) adults traveling it was challenging with a single couch in the living room and (1) bath so keep that in mind - but it did force us outside more which was not an issue for our adult children and us. To sum it up…PERFECT

What a pleasant surprise!

Wow what a great property! Got a little confused about the gps but she was indeed accurate. Found the place and gate code and front door code were easy 👍 Beautiful property. Super stoked to find the inside as nice as the outside. Very well taken care of place, has everything you need. The host left us some salt water taffy, granola bars, wine for Mom and of course the farm fresh eggs. Went in the jacuzzi and bbq'd some kebabs. Slept like a baby. Got up and had coffee and made breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen. Really happy to find this place. Hope to come back next year and stay 2 nights to fully enjoy.

Perfect place to stay!!

The property is beautiful. It is a "ranch". My 6-year-old granddaughter was very excited to pet the two cows; the goat and her two babies; and get the eggs from the chickens each morning. There was an inground swimming pool and hot tub. The interior of the home is all new. There was an abundance of bath towels and large bottles of body wash, shampoo, and hair conditioner and a hair dryer. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee (a Keurig, French Press, and drip coffee maker were available). I would definitely recommend this rental. The one issue we had was that there is no cell service in the area. The property itself has service but when we got to the property we were unable to connect to our cell phones to read Vivianne's message regarding the gate and house security codes. Write down the address and security codes before you drive to the property.

Darling Cottage

It might not actually be a cottage, but it feels like it when you walk inside. Roomy, clean, well appointed and decorated. We were on a business trip in Tulare as exhibitors at the AG show so we were exhausted at the end of the day and the jacuzzi was good (it would have been great if it hadn’t been so cold outside…oh well, it is Feb after all!) The owner even left a bottle of wine and sweets in the kitchen which was a very nice touch. Beds suited us well and the heating system was great. The only thing I would suggest is a more comfortable couch and more seating for more than 2 guests and the DuraFlame logs are overwhelming for sensitive guests. We discovered after lighting one the first night that they are very smelly with a chemical smell and so we didn’t use them the rest of our stay. It would be really nice to have a gas fireplace in a perfect world..:) We highly recommend this house especially if you want a quiet country place to come back to after visiting the Parks or whatever you are up to in the area. The goats are very friendly too! Also, we really appreciated the signage out front directing down the correct driveway when we came in at night! Great job Vivian, and thanks for being immediately available to us each time we had questions, even late at night! You’re awesome!

Wollten ein paar ruhige Tage verbringen - Volltreffer! Ausstattung (Pool, Haus, Parken, Küche, Freizeitmöglichkeiten, Waschküche) waren super, leider war die Sauberkeit nicht so wie erwartet … Spinnweben waren überall, leider auch in der Küche 😖 Kommunikation über Zugangscodes (Eingangstür und Tor) erfolgt per Mail, ebenso die Infos bzw. Warnung, dass aufgrund der Trockenheit kein Feuer gemacht werden darf. Überall auf dem weitläufigen Gelände kann man Tiere beobachten: Hasen, Erdhörnchen, Enten, Ziegen … Wer ein paar Tage sehr privat in einer feinen Umgebung verbringen will - perfekt!

Beautiful, peaceful grounds close to park

Enjoyed this home after a long day of hiking. Hot tub, pool and yard games as well as wild life and domestic farm animals adorn the grounds. Very quiet and peaceful. Rental was very clean and well stocked. Highly recommended!

Family Fun!

We really enjoyed our stay! The whole family especially liked the goats, cows and ducks. Had a great pool and spa. Comfortable accommodations and close to the entrance to Sequoia NP.

Great Stay!

First time visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. This was a really nice place to stay. Nestled in the hills with nice landscapes and views. Lots of animals and wildlife. Relaxed by pool one day which was lovely wirh sun, shade and a breeze. Hot tub great after a day of hiking. Lots of room to roam. Easy to get to. House had everything we needed! Host very nice. No problems. Thank you for an awesome week!

Cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The property is very well taken care of. Cute ducks, chickens, turtles, and a cow. Easy access to Sequoia NP, and Visalia for a nice meal at Vintage Press. I was very happy with my stay!
