The Shady Knoll

The Shady Knollis trulya great 'BnB'. Itwas created and is managed by a dedicated local Three Rivers Team. We really do care about all of our guests as you visit to "our neck of the woods". The ā€˜Knollā€™ is located on a secluded and quiet lane only 2 miles from the Sequoia Park entrance and it really is on a Shady Knoll :)
The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, a blender, and a toaster, everything you would need to prepare meals in-house for those who love to cook. We also provide you with coffee and assorted teas, along with a few complimentary goodies. We provide plenty of local information and tips from your Host including where to go if you just prefer dining out! The bathrooms are always clean with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
The beds are all top of the line King size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We also use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort.
The couches and the dining room table are comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-tv and very good Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we provide you with free Netflix!
There is a BBQ on the deck and the living room is situated to take in views of the (often) snow-peaked Sierra Mountains. The views from the front and back are some of the best in Three Rivers and each is completely different.
Relax on the huge back deck with a panoramic view of Moro Rock and Alta Peak! The small front deck looks over the whole town of Three Rivers. You will have a view of Eagles Peak and you can often hear the Kaweah River in the valley below.
Always be on the lookout for photo ops of our local wildlife and those Selfie Shots!
During your stay, you will have complete access to the home and privacy as well.
If you have any questions or need anything I am available 24/7 however it is not mandatory that we meet. Most people just want privacy and of course a clean and comfortable stay. WE GIVE YOU THAT!

Amazing stay at a beautiful location! The view off the front and back porches were breathtaking. We drank our coffee out there in the morning and had our cocktails in the afternoon. Love that we were just a few miles away from the entrance of Sequoia. Correspondence with Mark was amazing. Would highly recommend.!!

Our stay at The Shady Knoll was very comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking, and the house stayed nice and cool. Communication with Mark was very easy. I would definitely recommend The Shady Knoll to family and friends.

The property was amazing! We had all the amenities we needed plus the views of the mountains were unforgettable. Mark was a terrific host. He promptly answered any questions we had. Also the info given pre-trip was helpful along with the info inside the home. Mark really thought of everything. The home was plenty comfortable for four adults and was impeccably clean. The snacks and wine left by Mark as a welcome gift were greatly appreciated. We all greatly enjoyed each of the many outdoor patios both front and back. Weā€™ll never forget the beautiful sun and moonrises and sunsets! Gorgeous. The home was also close to restaurants and provisions. A memorable stay. Iā€™d love to return some day.

Cute home away from home in the mountains

The Shady Knoll was the perfect place for my family of 4. It has everything you need, and the views are incredible. We felt right at home, my 2 little boys enjoyed seeing the wild turkey and quails visit. It's close to everything, Sequoia & KingdƱs Canyon National Parks, and the shops. I would definitely recommend!!

A Welcoming Retreat

We stayed here with some friends over a long weekend. The home is beautifully arranged with several comfortable areas, inside and out, to enjoy the lovely views of the surrounding mountains. Our host had everything prepared for our stay along with several treats which we all enjoyed. Communication was prompt and helpful. Would absolutely love to come and stay again 10/10

Spectacular views

We were greeted with a nice welcome gift which included a bottle of wine and various snacks. Views from the front and back yard sitting areas were beautiful. Great location for visiting the Sequoia National Park. The kitchen was well equipped and living areas comfortable. Only negative was the master bathroom needing a little TLC and some areas a bit more dusting.

Perfect Location with great views

We enjoyed this place of respite close to the National Park. The views were stunning both during the day and at night. Mark was a wonderful host and we would gladly return if we were back in the area again! Highly recommend!

I have been living in Three Rivers for 10 years now so I know the area well. My back ground is in home construction, project design and re model. I have spent most of my life south of the grapevine in San Diego and Orange counties where I worked for over ten years at two very private Country Clubs. I find that experience very helpful for hosting this BnB.
I love living here in Three Rivers! My motto, as your host, is best described with a quote I like very much. "You can get anything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want"!
I really do enjoy helping our guests get the most out of their time here in Three Rivers.
