Cottonwood Foothills Getaway

Fantastic corner home located on 1.28 acres. 2 bedrooms/2 baths. Spacious living room with vaulted ceiling. Big 2 car garage. We have a fenced private backyard with incredible views! This home is a must see and stay!

Our home is located less than 2 minutes from Walmart, and 7 minutes to Old Town Cottonwood.

Regardless if you are here on business or pleasure, we have everything you need to be home away from home. Need to work? We have a printer/scanner with high speed internet.

Do you have little ones? We love children and welcome them! We have a high chair, books for kids (and adults), toys (cleaned after every guest), and board games as well? We offer a sharing library! Take a book or leave a book!

Have a pooch that is part of the family? They are welcome as well (a deposit will be required).

Looking for something to do?

Do you plan to take a day trip while here? With just a 17 miles drive, you can visit the beautiful red rocks of Sedona are just a 17 mile drive, go wine tasting in Cornville (7.8 miles) or visit the historic town of Jerome (9miles)!

Do you like to hike or fish? Do you enjoy nature? Spend a day at Dead Horse State Park or take a ride down the Verde River Greenway State Natural area! You can fish, hike, or even have a picnic while becoming one with nature. 😄

History buff? Take a ride down memory lane and visit the historic Montezuma Castle! This national treasure is a short 25 minute drive, and makes for the perfect getaway.

Do you gamble? Try your luck at our local Cliff Castle Casino! Just a 16 mile drive from our home. Gamble or dine!

Code wouldn't let us in. Couldn't reach owner to get in all night. Although Vrbo covered our issue and helped tremendously, we never got in and stayed in Sedona at another Vrbo rental.

This property was clean and well kept. It is convenient to many locations including Cottonwood, Jerome and Sedona. There are lots of food options nearby. I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

Great location

We loved the house and it was in a great location to our plans. The only down side, was my daughter had a reaction to the many air fresheners.

Sorry for the air freshener. In our attempt to make the space smell as pleasant as possible perhaps the number of plug in’s could be reduced. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Overall, it was a good experience. However, one major flaw: either the internet connection or the TV has a problem, or maybe both. Very slow to load programs, then pixellation ruined the show.

Pictures are accurate, location is great, host is quick to respond. Perfect for what we wanted/needed. We will be back for sure. 15 mins to Jerome, 20 mins to Sedona, and Cottonwood has some hidden gems. If any of those are in your list, you can’t go wrong with this property.

Great house for family gathering

The house is really nice, furnishings great, comfy beds, and plenty of household items. Close to restaurants and stores The fenced yard is really great for your loved ones to play in a safe environment and enjoy the view.

Fun Stay in Cottonwood

The house was nice and mostly what we expected. The biggest negative was no washer and dryer as listed. Also the dining table was not as shown in the photos. It was a high table with just one extra high stool. The house was clean and the water pressure in the showers was great! It was conveniently close to the Walmart. We enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the area!

Thank you so much. Sorry the washer was being repaired. The table in the pics will be replaced post repairs made to two chairs. Part of keeping up with short term rental. These things happen. I will do a better job of communicating pertinent info to the guests. Thank you for bringing it to an our attention.

Very convenient location

This has been I believe our fourth stay at this property. It is so nice to have a garage and fenced in backyard for our granddaughter to play in and our dog. I love to cook and prepare several meals while we are visiting for our family. It’s also a close location to grocery stores.

Comfy and amazing!!

Such a warm and comfortable place to stay! We went for Thanksgiving and were hosting for family that live in the area and cannot travel. Shikima was the absolute best host! So accommodating and easy to talk to! She went out of her way to make it warm and ready for us to use and our kids to enjoy. I will definitely make this my go-to place to stay when I visit again!!

Most amazing experience Ive had

Very nice and clean house. Owner was extremely nice and responsive. Coffee was provided free of charge. Loved that there were plenty of towels for us to use. Three minutes to the nearest walmart, which is your one stop shop for supplies or food. Huge driveway and the house itself was beautifully decorated. I 100% recommend this house and would stay again.

The house was nice.

The house was nice and clean and right in the perfect location for my needs for my trip. But when i booked the house i booked it because it was listed as having a washer and dryer available. But when i got there the garage was locked where the washer and dryer are located and when i questioned the host the answer i got was "If the washer or dryer is used it pops a breaker due to the camper using the same outlet." As there was someone staying in a camper out front. I planned on having a washer and dryer available as i drove across the country with my wife and two kids. I feel the minimum the host could have actually communicated this prior to arrival instead of waiting for me to question it. Also there were several cars in and out visiting the person in the camper so we never knew what what be in the driveway at any giving time. So if you book this planning on a washer and dryer maybe you'll get lucky and have it available but I'd count on that not being the case.

Accurate listing and very nice home

My partner and I live full time in an RV and wanted a kitchen and somewhere nice to stay for a small Thanksgiving gathering with my mother and a last minute self-invitee. We ended up with four adults and one cat. The listing was accurate (actually it's nicer in person than the photos show), the property was clean and roomy, and there were plenty of kitchen amenities - pots and pans, cheese grater, whisk, ladle, toaster, measuring cups and mixing bowls, etc. The coffee situation was excellent with both Keurig and drip options. The property manager was extremely helpful and communicative and really the only "complaint" I have isn't a complaint but I'll post it here anyway in case it helps someone: it took me forever to find the Wi-Fi password - for other very short guests, go near the kitchen and look UP slightly, I promise it is there! Thank you Shikima and Michael for a lovely stay :)
