Lakeview Cottage - GOODYEAR LAKE - Completed in 2003, this quaint cottage has a charming décor and is perfect for a small group up to 3 people. Located on the 2nd floor of a small barn-style garage, this property has all you need. Take advantage of all the beauty Goodyear Lake has to offer as you relax, swim, boat and fish. Enjoy morning coffee on the private balcony with pleasant lake views through the trees or on the patio below while enjoying the lush gardens meticulously maintained by your host.

Lakeview Cottage will comfortably sleep 3 in one bedroom with a hand-crafted queen bed and a twin bed with a trundle.  The entire apartment is located on the second floor, accessed by an exterior flight of stairs with a landing midway up. This property is convenient to both Cooperstown and Oneonta baseball tournaments.  You will be sure to feel relaxed when enjoying the waterfront and all the wonderful local wildlife. 

Host/owners are close by in the main residence if you need assistance. The use of the waterfront is shared with your hosts.

Great place for the tournament

Nice little place within a quick 20 min drive from Dreams Park, hosts were wonderful! Communication and cleanliness was beyond expectations. Great spot in a beautiful area.

Wonderful stay

We were in town while my grandson played at Cooperstown. Our stay at the Lakeside Cottage was great. The cottage is very cozy and the lake is beautiful. The location was very close to the Dreampark where his games were played which was very convenient.

Francine and Vince are wonderful, we enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet of being lakeside!! The location was close enough to All Star Village, dining and shopping. The loft apartment was perfect!!

Quiet Enjoyment

The property owners were very nice, the property is close to the Cooperstown ball fields so I could easily get to and from my son’s games and it was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Francine & Vince were fantastic hosts and the location was perfect

We had a great stay at the cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I. Francine and Vince were so welcoming and provided great local recommendations for places to check out during our stay. My husband and I were in town for baseball and the location was perfect. We were central to Cooperstown Dreams and All-Star Village, which made it easy to visit either. The lake was a plus. It's beautiful location and we were able to fish the last day we were in town.

Amazing! Beautiful and breathtaking

We were welcomed by two of the sweetest owners/host we have ever met. Our kids had the best time. When they weren’t on the baseball field they were on the lake fishing. It is perfectly small and they provided shampoo, conditioner, soaps, first aid kit, basic kitchen items and more.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Cottage! Francine and Vince are welcoming and kind - the best hosts! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. And the lake was beautiful! We fished, kayaked and relaxed lakeside between our son's baseball games. I just wish we had more time to stay! Thank you, Francine and Vince for providing such a lovely place to stay!

Perfect Cooperstown Trip Cottage

Our family enjoyed every moment of our stay! Francine and Vince were an absolute joy to have on site. The cottage has everything you possibly need and items to keep you busy on the Goodyear Lake. They also provide you with a binder full of everything you made need/want to do during your stay. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking very much! Our son played at All Star Village and the drive was incredibly close and easy to get there from the cottage. There were plenty things in the area to stay busy as well. Thank you Francine and Vince for an amazing stay!

Welcoming and Lovely

Francine and Vince are wonderful hosts! We stayed at their Lakeview Cottage with our youngest son while our older son played baseball at Cooperstown Dreams Park. Along with the cottage amenities Francine and Vince share their access to Lake Goodyear (located right behind their home) for fishing, kayaking, and swimming, which was an added bonus! Our son loved catching crawdads along the edge of the water. Francine also left delicious homemade rhubarb bread and the best piece of cheesecake we’ve ever eaten (from the Cheese Company located just a few miles away), along with various beverages in the refrigerator. Francine is a master gardener, so we enjoyed looking at all of her beautiful plants/flowers on our way in and out of the cottage each day. This is a beautiful cottage and piece of property, but the couple that owns it is what makes it so special! This will go down as one of our greatest family trips!

Beautiful Lake Location, Convenient to Cooperstown Dreams Park

My wife and I stayed in the Lakeview Cottage, while my son (mostly) stayed with his teammates at Cooperstown Dreams. Lakeview Cottage is conveniently located (less than a 20 minute drive) south from Cooperstown Dreams Park, so it is roughly halfway between Cooperstown and Onnenata. The lake is beautiful, and there is also access to fishing rods, kayaks and a paddle boat, which are easily boarded from the dock area. Francine and Vince are very gracious hosts, with a wealth of insider knowledge about where to eat, and what to do in the Cooperstown area of NY. In the bedroom, there is also a day/twin size bed, which was very handy for when our son needed to stay with us for a few nights during our trip. Although we did not actually cook a meal while there, the kitchen had what we would have needed, if we chose to. We strongly recommend Lakeview Cottage for both baseball tournament guests, as well as those simply looking for lake views and amenities!

What a Blessing to find this beautiful place!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay! Vincent and Francine were marvelous hosts, they helped us find so many places that we would not have found without there help. The Cottage was wonderfully clean and cozy, perfect for a couple, right on the lake. We kayaked one evening, so serene. And a lovely place To hike right down the way from the cottage. We came especially to see The Baseball Hall of Fame, and loved it. Can’t say enough about the hospitality shown to us and the delicious cheesecake that was waiting for us when we arrived, along with fresh flowers from Francine’s garden. Made some beautiful memories and new friends We Highly recommend Lakeview Cottage! We’d return in a heartbeat! ❤️

Had an amazing stay at this guest cottage. An amazing, lovely couple who offered the best Hospitality you can find. Would recommend this property in a heartbeat. An absolutely perfect place to stay while your son enjoys countless memories at Cooperstown Allstar Village.
