Beautiful in any season. Located directly on the quiet cove of Goodyear Lake, this lovely home is convenient to ALL youth baseball tournament locations in both Cooperstown and Oneonta. Open Concept - Contemporary - Clean - Cozy - Spacious home with lots of natural light.
Fishing - Swimming - Boating - Kayaking is just outside your door!

Minutes from Cooperstown, DreamsPark and Baseball Hall of Fame, Soccer Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Opera House, Famers Museum, Finnimore Art Museum, Otesaga Golf Club and resort and two nearby colleges. You’ll never lack for things to do.

The Lakehouse is fully furnished and equipped with your every need. Included are all amenities: linens, towels, dishes, cookware, TV, cable, internet, stereo, deck, canoes and kayaks, fishing dock and raft in the water.

This house has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Plenty of closet space. The Master suite is the only room which has a AC window unit and a ceiling fan. Ceiling fans are also located in the second bedroom and living room. Bathroom has a whirlpool tub and separate shower stall. A large open living room has plenty of comfy space and seating. There is also an additional pull out queen/sofa in the living room. Upstairs is an office space with a full size futon. The kitchen has all modern conveniences with a large counter and bar stools.

Boats galore! We have 2 canoes, a kayak and rowboat for you, and even supply fishing poles. The large front yard is perfect for croquette or badminton - sets which are provided. Lakeside is a large sunny deck and broad, green back yard. Sunbathe or fish from our lovely dock. Curl up with a good book or take a nap on the back deck. A gas grill is provided for cookouts and a fire pit for campfires.

This is a slice of heaven. You won't want to leave! A great retreat for your family while the young-ins play baseball. Good old fashioned R&R awaits you!

Stayed at this beautiful lake front property while in town playing at Cooperstown. Had all the comforts of home plus more. Very easy check-in and checkout. Very clean, and all of the boats kept my family entertained when not on the field. We had a campfire and BBQ on our final night with another family, many fish were caught and drinks were had. What a fantastic place to stay, greatful to have found the listing.

My family and I had a blast at Susan’s Lake house. It was the perfect retreat to come back to after long days of baseball. My son was sad that he had to bunk at Cooperstown instead of being able to stay with us here. Many amazing memories made for sure.

This was an incredible place to spend a week as a family visiting Cooperstown and the Hall of Fame. The pros far outweighed the cons, which weren't significant enough to take off a star. Easily a 5-star stay, and we would be thrilled to return one day!Just some of the many positives of the property:- Well equipped with everything you need and then some (outdoor toys and games, indoor games, kitchen tools, etc.). Washer/dryer and dishwasher are a huge plus!- Awesome swimming! It was hard to tell what the waterfront would look like from the listing, and I was bracing for lots of weeds/reeds, muck, etc. Much to our delight, there was a large, clear waterfront, and you could see straight down to the bottom and walk all the way out to the floating dock (which was at the shore when we arrived but was fixed within 24 hours!). Water shoes are helpful due to rocks and shells, but there's nothing gross!- Private lot and quiet cove, but an easy drive to many amenities, including downtown Cooperstown and a new favorite restaurant, Brooks BBQ in Oneonta.- Luxurious master suite upstairs with A/C and a jacuzzi tub.The only downsides we encountered were:- Difficulty on the hottest days of our trip getting the downstairs a comfortable temperature, but there were fans available that helped, and we just went swimming when we wanted to cool down!- Bottom bunk has more of a futon cushion than a real mattress, which wasn't incredibly comfortable, but the kids didn't notice or mind!

Nice place with perfect scenery

If I could give the lake and the grounds surrounding the property 20 stars I would. Waking up every morning to the lake and hanging out in the water was spectacular. Kayaks and canoes are on site which were a huge plus. Inside of the home needs some upgrades. Furniture is a bit stained, the appliances could be updated, and the beds could be more comfortable. There is only one tv in the house, but we didn’t mind that so much, although some people may have a problem with that. There is no central ac. There is a room ac upstairs in the bedroom but not throughout the house, nor the second bedroom (second bedroom has a fan). It did get a bit warm in the house during some of the days. There are 2 skylights in the upstairs bedroom so the room becomes super bright starting at 6am. The location is convenient to Cooperstown dreams park (15 minutes away) and downtown Cooperstown (20 minutes away). Overall, it’s a nice place to stay with incredible lake access and views.

Incredible lakeside getaway

This was a perfect location and a cozy home away from the craziness of Allstar Village, Cooperstown. We were able to enjoy peace and quiet on the lake and it was such a beautiful property. My son caught TONS of fish and we both spent hours kayaking and canoeing. Some of our friends stayed close by and their homes were a bit more updated, but they didn't have the use of a lakeside lawn (for wiffleball) and the easy access to the water. Susan let us use her boats and fishing rods - this made all the difference and we had the best and most magical time ever. Susan was also very responsive and we appreciated that. We even saw some fireflies. Thank you!!

Beautiful view and lake access. House inside is outdated. No central A/C. Bunk beds were not made when we arrived, only a comforter over mattress. House had spiders and spider webs throughout. There was also dust throughout house. There is only one tv, which is pretty small. Pool table/ping pong is misleading as it is a miniature set upstairs without adequate room to even play and missing pieces.

Peaceful lake getaway

We had a wonderful stay on the lake! It was so nice to have a place to relax and get away from the intensity of CASV. All the access to kayaks and canoes was a wonderful bonus.

Nice break from the park

We were there to watch our son play at Dreams park and it was exactly what we were looking for. A break for us to relax by the lake. Everything we needed plus a bald eagle!

Cooperstown Week

Great place to stay if in town for the Cooperstown tournament or just looking for a cabin on a lake. It’s as listed and check in was great! Beautiful mornings and evening relaxing on the lake with fishing jumping everywhere. Only issue is it’s about a 15-20min drive to CASV and you might have to commute a couple times a day. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful, Quiet Retreat in a Great Location

We stayed here with our younger son, while our oldest was playing at All Star Village. It was conveniently located to scoot back and forth for games, and gave our youngest a dream vacation week of fishing (too many perch and sunfish caught to count!), swimming and kayaking. You can’t beat the view and the cove is quiet and relaxing. The house has a great layout, is well stocked, and has lots for kids to do inside and out - we even caught the ice cream truck coming by one night! We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone coming into town for baseball.

Perfect Lake Home

Great owners and communications was perfect throughout. My son was in Cooperstown Baseball Tournament and home was perfect to keep my 14 yr old son busy. Fishing, swimming and other activities was super easy from this home on the water. They had all you needed. 5 Stars...Thank you for a great stay and we will be back. Bill and Antoinette.

Perfect lake house!

This was the perfect lake house for our trip to Cooperstown! It was the most beautiful, peaceful setting and only a 15 minute east drive to CASV. The cottage was well stocked, clean, with tons of water toys. Would highly recommend this house for cooperstown families or anyone looking for a great vacation!

Perfect Lake House!!!

We were in town while my son played at All Star Village and this home could not have been more perfect. A 15 minute drive to the fields and so many things for my other 2 kids to do when they weren’t watching baseball. The canoes and kayaks provided were awesome with a nice big yard for them to play in as well. We were able to relax and make meals at the house- it worked out perfectly for our family.

Cooperstown Dream Park Stay

Stayed here while one son was playing at Dream park. 18 minute drive that was super easy. Great house and lake property to rest up and entertain two younger children. Enjoyed spare time on the row boat, fishing and throwing ball in the yard. Comfortable and cozy furnishings made this an easy stay.

Baseball vacay-peaceful setting!

Great rental on a scenic part of the lake. The mornings are gorgeous as peered through the round window on the second floor! Stunning! Please upgrade the badminton set. It wasn’t functional for us at all. Also, a great addition would be cornhole (bags) for the big yard you have.

Perfect lake house

The house is situated halfway between Allstar Village and Dream Park. About 15mins to each. I was here to watch my son ay baseball. The house is quiet and cozy. The cove is about 10 steps from the house which made the stay that much better. The house has fishing rods, kayaks and canoes. Susan was a very responsive. I would recommend this house to anyone here for baseball or just a quick weekend getaway.

This is a super area to be in summer, winter, spring or fall. There is always tons to do and the beauty surrounding the house is beyond description. At the end of our road you will find NY State forest land with great hiking trails!
