This is a lovely home with plenty of areas to gather and very comfortable beds. It is clean and well taken care of, in addition to well stocked. We very much enjoyed the backyard which has an amazing view of Lake Erie, and you can walk down to the lake and dip your toes in the water. We would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed the house for our girls' trip. It was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. We loved the beach area! The hosts were very welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation!

Loved the property! There were 9 of us and the house worked perfectly. We had a great time taking advice the lake and the nightly fires in the fire ring. Our hosts were so helpful even recommending a place we could have a nice dinner on our last evening. We would definitely give our stay a two thumbs up!!

No entry information until I called VRBO. They have 2 VRBO properties that share a backyard with them and a daughter. Both windows in Master only have shear curtains up. The view is beautiful but this house is not directly on the water. We enjoyed our trip to the area.The location is near everything within 10 miles or less.

Great Location by the Lake

We rented this house for a girl's wine tour weekend. It was close to Geneva for the wineries as well as Ashtabula for the apple orchards. The house has 4 bedrooms which worked out perfectly for us. The owner came to visit during check-in and answered all our questions. Very helpful and welcoming! You can hear the water at night while you sit outside and enjoy a nice fire with plenty of wood. Just a short walk in the morning down to the water to enjoy a cup of coffee or you can sit on the patio and rock in the rocking chairs. We enjoyed our stay!!!

3rd annual girls weekend

We love to meet on the lake for a girls weekend! Nice area! Plenty of rooms and beds! 2 1/2 bath! This was our second time coming back to this house! Loved having a fire in the evening! Great hosts!

Bach weekend

We had a group that ranged from 4-85 in for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend. The hosts were very nice and hospitable. The converted garage was the perfect place for game night. There were small toys available for young children and plenty of room for seating. The chairs by the lake were a favorite spit for my entire group. With it being only an 8 minute drive to the strip, it was perfect for sunset taxi to pick up and drop off with no issues. We would definitely return.

Wedding Weekend

Our experience with the Lakehurst Bungalow was amazing. Our hosts went above and beyond for our stay. The house was so quaint and the location was beautiful and convenient. As a bonus the sunsets were beautiful.

Staging house for fishing trips

Had a weekend here with 2 walleye trips booked. It’s close to the marinas and it’s also a short walk to the lake (short meaning 1 min). Very clean with linens, soap etc.. Great little man cave garage / laundry. Clear communication. What else do you need?

Family girls lake trip

We started meeting near GOTL with family we have from NY, OH and NC a couple of years ago. We loved this place! The lake is in the backyard. Close to many places which we love Marianne’s chocolate. There was plenty of room with the four bedrooms for everyone to sleep! 2 1/2 baths makes it great! The managers were awesome and checked in and offered any assistance if needed. Would stay here again! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!

BG Getaway

It was great! Eight College girlfriends. We've been together since 1967 Freshmen at BGSU. The property was immaculate and so spacious. There were several areas to gather in. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest, but there was access to the beach! We toured many wineries!! Great location and easy to get around!

Perfect large family gathering

We stayed at both their properties with connecting backyards. It was perfect for our large family: 12 adults and 12 kids (15-6 months). Lots of space and excellent seating for everyone. Tons of amenities (games for indoor and outdoors)! Obviously owners have no control, but waves are pretty strong so just make sure to bring life jackets. Kids loved jumping the waves and wave surfing. It felt like an ocean but with fresh water.

Great Lake View

The house itself was a great space for my family and I. There was plenty of sleeping space, and the garage was a big hit for family game playing. The inside of the house was extremely clean, and had pretty much everything we needed to cook dinner each night. The patio had a great picnic table that accommodated all 6 of us comfortably along with Adirondack chairs. The propane did run out on the grill, but the owners brought another one right over since they are next door. While we enjoyed our stay, I was surprised to see the house is not lake front as advertised. The house sits behind the owners house as they share the property along with another rental they own. The yard and beach access is shared by all three properties, which is ok, but it was not advertised in the listing. The path down to the beach is not easy for senior citizens to navigate as it is a gravel hill leading down. My mother did not attempt this path because she was afraid of falling.

Our feelings andd observations.

It was a great place but 12 people would have been too many for sleeping and bathrooms. 7 was max. However, your post says it is handicapped accessible. It is not. And the shower downstairs has no bars for safety. Very sllippery. I was surprised also to see that the house is not lakefront as in the picture. Noteworthy also is that the grill is filthy and unusable. We did enjoy the firepit however. The only concern for us was not easily accessible for our 96 year old. Thanks again. People also should use gps.....there are two streets....west and east.

A nice short getaway

My friends and i decided to do something for our short yearly guys trip and picked this property to rent. The location was perfect as it was right next to lake erie and only a short drive from geneva on the lake. The property was exactly as it was listed and was absolutely spotless. We were all very satisfied with our stay.
