Long winding driveway leads up to a quiet, private setting on 2 acres of property. This house is the highest point of land in Tom Nevers abutting conservation land with unobstructed, panoramic views of the ocean and Tom Nevers Pond. The grounds are manicured with a spectacular English garden.

The property is hedged with beautiful hydrangea bushes. The house has a first and second floor deck that is perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining many people. The great room leads out to a large second floor deck and is perfect location to entertain family and friends. There is a Bose surround a sound entertainment system as well as a large wet bar. The great room has a large wood burning fireplace as well as the master bedroom. The master bath is equipped with steam shower and two rain heads for large walk in shower as well as an antique claw foot tub. House is professionally decorated and has only the finest appliances available. A Baby Grand piano is now in the rear of the Great Room. We have also just added an outdoor Ping Pong Table (table tennis) for all who would like to enjoy a game outside!

Tom Nevers perfection

Jamie and her team were super-responsive and helpful with all sorts of recommendations, responses and even helped when we encountered a flat tire after viewing July 4th fireworks at Steps beach!The property is spacious with great gathering space both indoor and out, numerous spots for smaller groups to have some individual space and well separated bedrooms for our two families (both with parents and teens) to come together. The location is perfect for bike rides to Sconset, a short drive to Nobadeer for bodysurfing and numerous trips to town and across the island including Great Point and Madaket Millies. Looking forward to a return visit.

Peace, beauty, and comfort.

From the beginning to the end of our two week stay my family of nine enjoyed the expansive home and grounds and considered this to be the best of our many vacations together. The location on the island is perfect for visiting beaches and fine dining establishments, as well as short trips to Nantucket Town. I can’t say enough about our gracious and helpful hosts, Jamie and Bill, who even helped us to discover wonderful fun events for my two grandchildren, ages 5 and 8. The garden and flower baskets they produce can occupy your time just admiring their beauty. We will definitely return!

Tom Nevers Storybook Cottage

The house is just lovely; fully equipped from a fully stocked kitchen, Baths, ( many towels), beds were so comfortable, location is tops - it felt like home for our family reunion week. The ease of outdoor amenities from the hot tub, fire pit and outdoor eating space. Young children loved the mermaid garden ( mermaids are always a favorite). Many beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles made it easy to pack up for a fun day at the beach or just a bike ride around Tom Nevers. Our host is amazing; so responsive if we had a question and most importantly, a genuinely nice person! We loved our family week in Nantucket and hope to return next year. We wholeheartedly recommend Storybook Cottage to everyone!

Magical Times at Storybook Cottage

We stayed at Jamie’s Tom Nevers house for a full month and didn’t want to leave! She was a gracious hostess and available whenever we had questions, making us feel right at home and totally comfortable. The house was spacious and well maintained with beautiful decor throughout. We loved the well appointed rooms carefully curated with collections of shells, ceramics, artwork, statues, furniture and linens that make it feel like we were in someone’s home and not just an anonymous space. The outdoor gardens, wide upstairs deck with panoramic views at sunset, fire pit, outdoor seating, hot tub and access to plenty of beach supplies made for a delightful stay. Highly recommend especially for larger families!

Friends Gathering

We had a great time! Jamie was a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful. Before we arrived, I was sent a list of outstanding restaurants and suggestions! All were amazing! The property was very private and had a lovely garden. We watched deer every day! The setting was lovely. We rode bicycles almost daily and explored the island. Ciscos, Chanticleer, Nautilus and Cru- we highly recommend. While the owner/property mgr was delightful, the property has deferred maintenance that needs addressing . There were several issues, but Jamie offered assistance promptly. We declined having Comcast come out because we didn’t want to build our day around the service window we were given or leave house unattended. All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Wedding week

Fully equipped kitchen, lovely gathering spaces both inside and out for group.or morning coffee etc. The fire pit was a hit and appreciated having bikes to use. Jamie was fully accessible, a very good host. Plenty of towels, robes and the garden is beautiful.

Wonderful house! Great host!

We had an amazing stay at Jamie's property and didn't want to leave! The house is very spacious and well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything that we needed. There is a lot of indoor and outdoor space which is great for socializing with a larger group of people. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill and the firepit in the evening. The house is in a good location and it is easy to get to many of the beaches and towns. Jamie is an excellent host. She was very proactive and offered us lots of advice and tips about the island. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again at some point.

Beautiful garden

Rented this lovely home for my family that included three babies. The garden was magical for our 2 year old and her love of mermaids and make believe. Lovely home and great spaces. The property manager and host were extremely responsive. We had a great time

Wonderful Home

We spent a fantastic week in Jamie’s home. We loved the location and the peace and quiet that this property offered. Jamie was so helpful sharing a wide range of different activities, restaurants, and sites to visit. Our ages ranged from 14-80 and we all had a wonderful stay! Thank you Jamie!!

Nantucket - Tom Nevers

Beautiful and spacious home that worked well with our two families (7 adults total). We had a glich when power and water went out for 4 hours (9:30-1:30) in middle of the week. We were told by locals that 3-4 hour power outages are not uncommon - a generator would be a good idea for the property so guests are not stuck with no water/power for hours.

A perfect family getaway!

We had six adults and three kids (14, 13, and 10) in our group, and had just the most marvelous time. Jamie was terrific from the moment we reserved the house, sharing recommendations for everything from beaches to tourist spots to all kinds of dining options. The home was absolutely beautiful, with terrific sun exposure and enough space where everyone could have their own spaces and we could also all come together for meals, games, and movies. Having all the linens provided made getting onto the island so much easier (not having to lug around all that extra stuff), and having laundry machines in the house meant we could pack that much lighter. Whether we were catching sunrises at the beach, finding special spots recommended by Jamie during the day, laughing over dinner in the evening, and taking advantage of the hot tub at night, we all had a spectacular time. Highly recommended if you're looking to get away with your family for some relaxing quality time together!

Beautiful home

My husband and I stayed at the house for a week with our two children. The home was beautiful and more than big enough. Jamie was responsive and helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions. We needed a crib for one of our children and we were referred to a company that dropped one off at the house for us. We had fires a few nights in the upstairs fireplace. The living room had great views. We would definitely recommend this home!

Outstanding hospitality, beautiful house

This property provided my family (two adults and our toddler daughter) with a beautiful, safe place to spend our holidays. Jamie was incredibly gracious, understanding and flexible with us as we faced multiple delays and changes in our travel plans due to combinations of covid and weather conditions. Throughout all of the changes Jamie was so gracious and cheerful and helped us feel welcome. Taylor the groundskeeper greeted us by text when we arrived and was always responsive when we had questions or concerns. We would stay here again and reccomend it to everyone!

Wonderful week !!

This house was perfect for our group of all adults. Plenty of space to gather all together or in smaller groups in intimate seating areas. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen and baths plus bikes, beach chairs and porches to enjoy Nantucket mornings, evenings, sunsets and stars. Jamie was so helpful with multiple reschedulings due to COVID-19 and provides lots of information and help with anything you need. We certainly hope to return.

Family reunion and celebration of life

Jamie was very responsive Her home is beautifully decorated The Great Room was perfect for our party of 12 - where we enjoying the gorgeous sunsets off the decks and watching the Olympics and movies after dinner. The rooms were spread out so we all had our space. The Tom Nevers beach felt like is was our own private beach - quiet and easy to success. The gardens were splendid. A vaca to remember

Nantucket Wins!

This lovely home was captivating from the moment we walked in. Our whole crew was deleted with the beautiful decor, luxury details, beyond charming English garden sunroom and stunning garden. The home was very clean and well-equipped with lots of towels, linens and creature comforts. The location was very central to exploring the island - delicious breakfast sandwiches in sconset, sunsets and lobster rolls in madaket, beach bar fun at jetties beach, and shopping and dining in town. Jamie is a wonderful host - with plenty of ideas for things to see and do, and very responsive to all inquiries. A car at this location is an absolute must and Jamie’s Jeep was perfect (apparently, you have to have a jeep in Nantucket!). We loved the home, the privacy and calm of Tom Nevers, the kind host, and beautiful Nantucket. We stayed for a week and still wish we had more time in this comfortable and lovely home!!

Lovely property on an incredible island

We had a wonderful stay at Jamie's property--it was absolutely lovely with plenty of room for our 2 families of 4. Her gardens are absolutely stunning, and she was easy to get in and get in touch with from the time we booked to the time we left. Highly recommend and we all look forward to visiting again!

Stunning home in a great location!

We loved this home - we were a family of five adults and had PLENTY of room for all of us to be together or spread out! The kitchen and bar area had everything you could imagine from an entertaining point of view. Large TV's in many rooms and lots of games - including a dedicated game table. The gardens at the home were truly spectacular and the sunsets gorgeous from all sides of the home -but particularly from the upstairs deck. The deck was a great place to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, or dinner. The home was in a very quiet and private location (Tom Nevers) and was just minutes from literally everywhere. Bikes were provided and you could safely bike from the home. The town of Sconset was just a few minutes away too. Jamie was a wonderful host and answered all our questions! The beach was about a 5 minute drive - very private! Their were public tennis courts as well. We did not have any wat3er views or couldn't hear the ocean (could be do to vegetation) but at night we could see the Sankaty Lighthouse blinking in the distance. This is the type of home where you could literally stay all week and never leave the house - it is that relaxing and beautiful. OR ... do what we did - enjoy a 1/2 a day away from the home exploring the island, shopping, enjoying the wineries, having breakfast or dinner out, grabbing ice cream and then come back and enjoy the other 1/2 of your day at home. We are already planning to return again next year.

A great find!

We recently visited Nantucket for the first time and were very lucky to find this home. The home is beautiful, very well-appointed, and super clean. The home is amply equipped with everything you will need — bikes, chairs, beach towels, and a ping-pong table! The kitchen is also stocked with everything you need. The house is quiet, in a lovely setting, and has a beautiful garden. The highlight is the owner, Jamie. She is super helpful, communicative, and took great care of us. (She really bailed us out by helping us find a car to rent.). We really enjoyed our week here.

Excellent!

So grateful to have had this wonderful week on Nantucket. Your home was absolutely perfect! The decor is spectacular-every room beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were very comfortable with beautiful and cozy linens. The rear garden is spectacular. And Jaime was a joy to deal with. It exceeded our expectations! We hope to return next year.

I have been in the garment industry for 20 years in NYC. I purchased and remodeled this house over a three year period to turn it into my personal sanctuary. My slice of heaven. I have three children who have vacationed on Nantucket for the past 14 years. We truly love this island and this house.

Nantucket has been my very favorite travel destination for the past fifteen years. I love the beach, ocean, biking, kayaking, shopping, history, fine dining, and spending time with family and friends on Nantucket. It is the ideal spot to do all these things.

Peace and quiet. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Outdoor activities and dining on the property. Many friends have said they never had to leave the property. The house kept them entertained and happy. Most people chose to sunbathe, garden, enjoy outdoor activities, and dine/party right on the property.
