Great spot for a getaway

I rented this property for a Girls weekend & it was great 👌 Had everything we needed. Property owner responded quickly to messages which was much appreciated.

Amazing location in a charming town

Such a beautiful and clean place! It’d be great to see a toaster, blender, more baking dishes and place settings in the kitchen, as well as dvds and games (they were referenced but not in the coffee table.

all was there except blender. the coffe table top lifts up. toaster is in drawer.

Beautiful countryside. Very peaceful. The pond, nicely manicured yard, and fresh blackberries were an unexpected treat.

I rented this property for 3 nights with my family. We pulled up to the house and the dumpster was overflowing and trash everywhere. We were out front starting the grill and my girls were about to get into the hot tub when a lady pulls in to throw her trash in the dumpster the sits out front of the house, later that evening a man comes to water the flowers for two of the three days. The listing details claim to have 25 acres to enjoy well that Saturday we headed over too the other pond for pictures and there was a party of 20 cars on the property that I had rented to enjoy! We had no privacy and we will not be back!

Host was very accommodating. Brought rocking chairs for the porch so my mom and aunt could sit outside. He was very friendly. Not sure if it was an oversight on my part but I thought the additional event building was included. When I inquired about it, I was told it wasn’t available due to an upcoming event. It worked out fine but I think the listing was a bit deceptive. The hot tub looked a bit cloudy the first night. We did not alert the host but I’m sure if we had he would have worked to correct it. Overall a beautiful place and friendly host. My mom enjoyed her birthday and that was what was most important. I am curious if I was mistaken about the additional venue being available. If it should have been and wasn’t then I think some money should be taken off the total.

no idea why you would think an event barn was included that is for weddings and is about $5000 for the weekend in renting this for 5 years you are the only person who thought this. i will re look at my listing but I don’t think there is anything deceptive there is 25-27acres here so the is a venue 2 vrbo listings and currently working on addition to the one you stayed in on the detached garage sorry for any confusion

Right in the middle

Nicest place we've stayed around the area. Rustic feel but with all modern things you'd want. Five minutes from a small town or 20 from a bigger one. Only "negative" would be the porch is visible from the road...but there's hardly any traffic and they have a privacy curtain if it bothers you. Honestly couldnt ask for anything more, it has everything you would need to just live there!

Loved our stay!

Thank you for sharing your place with us, we enjoyed the cozy bonfire, fishing, great deck, clean space and hot tub! Being 1 hour away from Kentucky, West Virginia and Hocking Hills meant a lot of exploring and we loved being in the middle of Amish country. We would definitely rebook. Beds were comfy, and communication was quick and friendly.

Girls weekend

We had a great time, probably just the time of year but there were a lot of stink bugs inside and wasps/ bees outside. But overall we had a good time.

yes there is a lot of bugs bees in southern ohio at the beginning of spring. they are already thinning out
