A very unique 1900 s Dairy Barn converted to living quarters. This separate unit within the barn is approximately 1600 sqft with its own private entrance. Sleeps 6 comfortability. It is loaded with features such as clawfoot tub, huge master bedroom, open kitchen living. Queen size beds in master, bedroom 2 and queen sofabed. Dishwasher/Washer/Dryer. 65" TV in living room, 60/55 in bedrooms. Hot Tub, Pergola, Outside large grill ,Coi Pond. Loaded with top notch Amenities and DĆ©cor. Private Office. Firepits.

Located Close to Lake Alma and easy driving distance to Hocking Hills/Old Man s Cave, Jackson County Amish Country, Athens, Jackson, Chillicothe, multiple Lakes such as Logan, Snowden, Jackson, Katherine and many more. Many local attractions and adventures in the area. Wellston has local bike trails from the old train depot to Lake Alma.

The owner has equipped the vacation rental with amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we cannot refund monies or relocate guests due to any of these (TV, VCR, DVD, gas log fireplace, jetted tub, hot tub, pool table, gaming system, small appliances, etc.) not working or malfunctioning. No refunds will be made for acts of God, loss of electrical power, water, air conditioning, or cable outages. In the event of a mechanical failure, we will make every effort to have all reported malfunctions corrected as promptly as possible. All our properties are privately owned.

We supply enough consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, laundry det, trash bags etc...to get started. If you have multiple guests, long stays, or use a lot of these items be prepared to bring your own or pickup at one of the local convenience stores nearby. We do not restock these items while being rented.

Quiet Weekend Away

Enjoyed our stay. The Inn at the Barn is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was easy to find since it is on one of the main roads in the area. It was very quiet while we were there and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Wedding Surprise

We rented this wonderful place for my son and soon to be daughter-in-law to use to get ready for their wedding at the historical train depot in Wellston Ohio. The location was great! They enjoyed their stay and loved the convenience to downtown Wellston. We will definitely recommend this property to out of town family and friends!

Great renovation of historical barn

Our family of 5 had a great stay in this nicely renovated dairy barn. Everything was very well done and we enjoyed the finishing touches (the shower was very cool) that paid homage to the building origins. We were there to visit Hocking Hills. It was ~30-45 minute drive to those areas.

Perfect place to wind down

The Inn at the Barn was great as our ā€œlanding placeā€ after taking in the sites of the Hocking Hills area. We got a good nights sleep, made a big breakfast in the kitchen and were able to unwind when we were done with the day. The washer and dryer were lifesavers after a day of ATVā€™ing and a hot day of hiking. The hot tub was a nice break too! We made the short drive to Jackson every day for the good restaurants, microbrewery and coffee shop.

Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there and we didn't get much hiking and kayaking in but i couldn't have been happier with The Barn. Bed was very comfortable, had board games to play, beautiful kitchen to cook in, the hot tub was very clean, tun in the mssterbedroom

Very unique property!

The Inn was very cute, and has great potential! I was saddened to see that Dan hadn't updated the amount of amenities to care for 6 guests, even after another review had mentioned it previous. If you list a place as able to house 6 people, there should be enough items for 6. There were only 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, 1 hand towel, 2 forks, 3 spoons, dishes for 4, etc. The kitchen definitely needs some attention to the items that would help someone actually cook, like mixing bowls, and other helpful items. Beds were comfy, and worked out nicely. Laundry was good!

Cleanliness is wonderful. Master bed is horrific, leans towards center of bed!! TV only played DVDā€™s as far as I knowā€¦texted and asked but never got a response. Surroundings are terrible! Donā€™t go to Piggly Wiggly!! All food is rotten!! Would never go back!
