Sunset View Lake Home is situated on a quiet bay of Lake Mohawksin and on a low traffic 25mph dead end road. Lake Mohawksin is a 2,000 arce lake with a couple Bar & Grills accesible from water.

Sandy lake frontage just a few feet away from the home. A large pier makes docking your boat easy and the Bradley public boat launch is only 1/2 mi down the road. Enjoy swimming, fishing, water skiing, boating and snowmobiling.

After a fun day of play, relax with a quiet evening watching the sunset over the lake. This spacious lake home, 1500 sq ft total, has plenty of room for your family and friends. Bedrooms 1 & 2 have queen size beds. All rooms have ceiling fans for added comfort. The kitchen is fully supplied with cooking utensils. Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake looking through the large bay window from the living room or from the deck.

Catch that dream Muskie you’ve been waiting for. This lake is an excellent Muskie, walleye, and smallmouth bass lake. Your little ones will definitely enjoy catching the pan fish. Take a boat ride down the secluded Somo River and enjoy a swim along its sandy shores. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays watch the Kwahamot Ski Show, the show begins at 7:30pm at Kwahamot Bay. Spend a day at Timm’s Hill, the highest point in Wisconsin about 25 mi west from the home. Spend a day at Lake of the Torches Casino, about 45 mi away. Or take a tour of the Harley-Davidson Kaphaem Road Plant. Check out the “Tomahawk Fall Ride” and bring your Harley-Davidson. More than 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts show for this event every year!

Generally, reservations between Mid-June through End-August require a 7 night reservation. Sometimes last minute exceptions can be made.

This place was wonderful! Better than listed. Yes, the neighbors are very close. Who cares, they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. They didn't get mad at us when our dog crossed into their yard. So that was cool. Kitchen was stocked with everything except food. Bunch of spices, tin foil, baggies. No ice maker, but there was 2 bags of ice in the freezer. Thank you! No dishwasher, but that was ok. They have tons of dish soap, laundry soap, closets full of TP and paper towels! Bathroom had shampoos and soaps, hand sanitizer, air freshener and all kinds of stuff. There is a skylight above the tub! So cool! I kept thinking someone left the lights on in the bathroom! Also a skylight in the master bedroom. Many of the house lights have dimmer switches. Took me a minute to figure out why the lights sucked. It was me! Not the lights! I loved that I could bring my dog. This place is obviously owned by a dog lover. It is not glam by any means, but totally comfortable. Couple light stains on the rug, but hey- dogs. It made me feel better in case my dog had an accident. (None to report- yay!) Oh yeah, sorry my dog ate your dogs rawhide that was left. There is a HUGE kennel in the 2nd bedroom. . I think 3 labs could fit in that thing! Also had food/water dishes set up already for the dog. We nt fishing off the pier. Decent fishing from there. The view is beautiful! Amazing sunsets! Best part was watching the Packer game and the sunset at the same time from my chair! 🤣

we just love this location. Everything you need is provided. Just bring your food. So relaxing ! Great access to town but still in the Northwoods atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back again.

Tomahawk at the Lake

Sunset View met all of my hopes and needs for two weeks of fun and relaxation! The morning view of the glass lake and unbelievable sunsets! I will be back again next summer.

Another great stay: the added mosquito traps are appreciated they bugs where not bad this year. There is a comment about next door house being close. They are very nice people and work during the week so it is very quite. We had good fishing the week we went kept my young son busy catching fish almost anyplace we went on lake. Looking forward to next year if cottage is still available.

Great location, beautiful lake

We had a great time staying here. The house is super close to the water so it is very convenient. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation on the lake. It is just a 10 minute drive into town for groceries and restaurants. You definitely should see the ski show in Tomahawk when there!

fantastic vacation

This home was a fantastic place to stay. The home and property was clean. Everything you needed was there. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with all of the wildlife. We will definitely be coming back .

Amazing lake views

The cottage has everything you need to enjoy summer in the Northwoods. The sand bottom lake is steps from the patio door and perfect for kids including tadpoles and frogs (bring a net for hours of catching entertainment). Tomahawk is minutes from the property with great places to eat including Pine Tree Supper club, Castaways (can go by boat if ya wish) and the Tilted Loon. Don’t forget a bike trail ride to the Windmill ice cream stop! The neighbors are wonderful people who are happy to help with suggestions you might need about the town.

Peaceful

My wife and I enjoyed our time here. The accommodations are quite nice and not lacking anything. There is plenty of room, a deck, a boat dock and a friendly neighborhood. The nearby town, Tomahak, has plenty of places to eat or shop without being too big or congested.

Another great stay at cottage

This was our second time staying at cabin. Cabin has everything you need and more. The roku was nice to have with rain days. Dock was great, i like that dock had bumpers added we still used our rubber bumpers but it was a nice to have so boat didnt get scratches. Kids had fun swimming right off shore.

Relaxing lakeside retreat

My husband and I had a great time during our stay in Tomahawk. The house was clean and well stocked with anything we might have needed, including some extras for the dogs! We were able to launch our boat and keep it tied to the dock. There was plenty of parking for the truck and the trailer at the house. The neighborhood was quiet (except for our dogs when the occasional deer popped out!). Yhe dogs loved being able to hop in the lake and swim around right from the backyard. We had a gret weekend stay!

What a gorgeous setting

Fantastic views with unbelievable sunsets. The house was expertly clean and the property manager has thought of everything thing you might need and even more. It would be nice if it even had a half bath but guess you can't have everything. Reccomend you get pontoon or boat rental settled before you get there. Schoeders of Rhinelander is an excellent source for renting. They will deliver to Sara Park in Tomahawk. It is about a 15 minute ride from there to the house.

Wonderful

We had a relaxing time with 4 adults and 1 mini dachshund. It was her first time swimming, loved that the water was right outside and we could float and play with her, would suggest to have a latter at the dock. The house was perfect, had enough space for us. Had an enjoyable time!

Great location and very quiet.

This was a great location in a very quiet bay. Nice and close to the water with our own dock. Cabin was great. Plenty of room for all of us. Overall was a great week of vacation.

Peaceful and Relaxing Lake Home

What a wonderful ranch home to stay in on beautiful Lake Mohawksin. The home is situated in a bay area on a nice flat piece of land very close to the water and pier. Rare to find such a home so close to the water and seconds away from hopping on your boat.Very clean and tidy ranch home with plenty of supplies well stocked As an older couple, we suggest a replacement of a larger bed size at least in one of the two bedrooms near the bathroom as well as replacement of all your bedroom pillows are too flat.Other than that Todd was very accommodating to us in messaging us right back when the boat rental people pickup time would be delayed after departing hours. We will definitely come back again.

I grew up in south-eastern Wisconsin as a kid and LOVED traveling to the “Northwood’s” for vacations. As I grew older I was able to purchase this property to have a place to go snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting. There’s so much to see and do in the Tomahawk area. As for snowmobiling I’d say the best of trails are in the area. After a hard day of play it’s so relaxing to grab a beer and grill out while watching the sun set over the lake.

I chose Lake Mohawksin because its water levels are controlled by dams. So even on the driest years the water level only varies by 6 inches. Also the tomahawk are has so much to offer. Water Ski shows and even a Dairy Queen accessible by boat! The fishing is good; especially the Muskie fishing. The vacation home is conveniently located a few miles from Tomahawk; making it easy to run to the store or attend the many activities in Tomahawk.

I enjoy the Muskie fishing and snowmobiling. Not to mention the quite clam nights watching the sun set over the lake. The scenery is breathtaking. Good fishing and swimming right off the dock.
