Cozy Pet Friendly House with Deck, Firepit & Fast WiFi in Heart of Bar Harbor

Nestled among centuries old pines near the Shore Path in the heart of Bar Harbor, Devilstone Cottage Estate’s Guest House offers a unique retreat within easy reach of Acadia National Park. Available year-round, this home is built on the site of the carriage house for one of the original mansions dating back to the town's emergence as a vacation spot in the 1800's when the Vanderbilts and other notable magnates first started visiting. Boasting a private deck and outdoor seating with a firepit, this two-story Cape Cod style home connects to the Shore Path making for an easy stroll to restaurants and shopping in town.

The interior features a living room with a vaulted ceiling that opens to the second story. A master bedroom with a king bed and den with sofa bed are on the ground floor while two more bedrooms are upstairs also have king beds. The ground floor bedroom features an en suite bath with a large soaking tub and stall shower. A second, full bath is shared between the den and the rest of the household. The upstairs master bedroom also features an en suite bath. A fourth, full bathroom is also located upstairs.

The kitchen is fully stocked for home cooking and meals that can be enjoyed together either at the six-seater dining tables inside or out on the deck. The living room offers a cozy place to unwind and gather for family movie nights on the large, smart TV.

In the evening, gather around the firepit, listen to the pine trees sway in the breeze and watch as the stars come out.

This home is available for stays up to 14 nights maximum. A stay 15 nights and over requires prior written consent from the Host. To use Instant Booking (when activated), guest must have and maintain positive reviews and provide ID to the Host at the time of booking. In addition, ID and email address for all adults staying at the property must be uploaded within 24 hours of the reservation.

Please note: There is a basement apartment for the Estate staff with separate parking and a private entrance. This may be occupied during your stay.
