Beautiful lakefront home on a channel. Over a one-third acre with a gated entrance. 4 bed/2 bath, game room, and office space. Sleeps 12. See the Rooms and Beds tab for details and layout.

No PETS unless you ask (dogs only).

Beautiful trees make this a serene place. Cul-de-sac with no thru traffic. Fully fenced yard with gated driveway. Perfect for family getaways, multiple couples, fishing/hunting,, small family gatherings ,and holidays. ( No Parties!!) ( Please check pet policy and extra guest policy )

Amenities include high-speed internet, a fully furnished kitchen, a full-sized washer/dryer, an office desk, a fire pit, yard games, and plenty of parking. Game room upstairs with pool table, ping pong, dart board, and dining table.

Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to shopping/restaurants, including CVS, Walmart, Chili's, Denny's, and Starbucks. Less than a 10-minute drive to other great locations such as the free boat ramp, Tom Finley Park, Vernon's Lakefront, Whatz-Up Fun Park, and Cedar Creek Brewery.

Cedar Creek Stay

This property was perfect for my family! Plenty of beds for everyone including a pack and play for the baby. Very conveniently located to Main Street . Quick 25 minute trip to Canton. Just had to contact the host once with a gate issue and had no problem getting in touch with them and the issue was an easy fix. Will certainly stay there again.

Spacious and clean

Safe for girls trip. Nice pleasant drive into Canton Flea Market we did no cooking but noticed kitchen is well stocked. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed with nice furnishings

Great place

Girls trip and it was wonderful staying here. Neighborhood was quiet and the property is very secure so we didn’t have to worry about our vehicles. Loved that the house had coffee for us and K cups.

Fun family spot

My family had another rental in the area so and were moving from one rental to another. We had a 5 hour “layover” but Amber allowed us to check in early. She was super communicative before during and after our stay. The house was clean and stocked with essentials as well as extras like kitchen spices, salad dressings, and dog treats.

Series of unfortunate events :-(

Positive aspects of the trip: The home was very clean and there were plenty of supplies: linens, detergent, and cookware. Also, the host was very responsive and accommodating in regard to our pets. Negatives: we incurred a number of issues during our stay which caused the trip to be less than ideal for my family and I. 1. The air conditioner in the guest house leaked water for the entire trip. The air conditioner is above the door, so when entering we got wet. We observed the water hitting the wall and landing onto the floor. The floor in front of the door was full of water, that the towels we placed there served little purpose. We were able to find a small bucket to capture the water, but this water had to be thrown out multiple times a day. We even purchased blow up beds in case my family did not want to endure the continuous wetness. The host did send someone out the following day, but the situation was unfortunately not remedied. 2. The kitchen sink on the left side was leaking as well. We managed to find a dish/bowl that would hold the water. This issue, while relayed to the owner was never fixed. 3. We came to this LAKEhouse to be able to utilize the lake while remaining at the house. After checking in the host informed me that she did not recommend we swim in her area of the lake due to branches and debris. Nevertheless, the host did recommend a park nearby with lake access. Overall the home was nice, well stocked and has an awesome game room.

This home is what we expected. The guest house does not have beds for couples. The only downside in our stay was that I was told numerous times to read the folder, which we all did. The folder 1st said to put towels and sheets in the tub. The next point said wash and dry towels. Since we left before 7 it was impossible to wash and dry towels. (the owner told me it was in the VRBO directives). There would be a $10 charge since we did not wash and dry the towels, because that is what her cleaning lady charges. After I informed her that she needed to update her folder, she took care of the charge. I wonder if she is overpaying her cleaning lady. I use VRBO often and this is a first. But all in all, we enjoyed the facility.

THE B-E-S-T

The house is so pretty. The yard was spacious and the neighbors are so nice. We loved ALL of the niceties that the hosts provided. Just all the little cute things. It was like being at your home with the extra special things. So super nice. We all loved the place. Amber is the most gracious host. My friends and I will be back...as long as they let us. :)

We had a great time and enjoyed the home and back yard. Listing is exactly what it is. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond should you need anything.

Look no further! Amazing Stay!

This property had everything and then some. The hosts are quick to respond and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Three bedrooms plus the cottage was perfect. The one toddler slept there through all the rowdyness. The baby monitow worked great and allowed the parents to have fun while being able to keep tabs on the little one. The game room was just what was needed for those who were not glued to one of the two fire pits. We couldnt believe how much firewood was available. Thank you!!! The completely fenced in property let the dog parents relax. We've stayed at properities that listed "bedrooms" that had no doors or substituted real doors for barn doors to convert a dining area to a "bedroom".. These are all true bedrooms with real doors. Plenty of extra sheets, towels, games and much more. Quiet and relaxing for our pre-thanksgiving gathering. The dining area didnt have enough seating but we made due by bringing in folding table and chairs which were readily available. We even used the picnic table! We will definitely be back!

Cedar Creek weekend getaway close to everything

Location extremely near tons of restaurants and other necessities. Very easily walkable great family oriented place with a separate complete bedroom and bathroom. Completely enclosed gated area very friendly neighbors.

Relaxing

I don't know how I missed leaving this review, but we stayed here to celebrate my step-son's next chapter as he was leaving as a recruit for the Marines. He will now be returning as a Marine. Thank you Amber for not only the hospitality, quick responses, and support for my future Marine. OORAH We would definitely return.

Family Vacay

This home is beautiful and homey, the guest house was perfect for the teenagers to stay in. The back yard is large enough for kids to play in. The host has everything available for home cook meals to bath towels and linens.

Perfect Family Getaway and Gathering

This house has a great layout for a family gathering for a weekend. 3/2 downstairs with loft and "kids" bunk room upstairs, PLUS a cute little 1/1 cottage in the back. We slept 13 ppl very comfortably. And the kitchen has everything you will need plus all the things you will forget that you need. The 2 charcoal grills out back (a weber master touch and a smaller travel size grill) cooked iur steaks to perfection! The water was a little low during iur stay, so we did not fish, but the turtles were so fun to watch! And can i just say PLENTY of room to park on the property inside the gate. Our dogs has so much fun roaming the grounds chasing the squirels and birds.

Family Birthday Celebration

We stayed at this property over The Weekend with 7 adults and 2 infants. Super super clean and inviting. Very well stocked that we took full advantage of, PLENTY of towels (so nice), nice layout for family to be able to visit without being right on top of each other. Amber was super sweet when she called to go over everything the day before our arrival. Aside from out time spent at Canton on Friday we really spent most of our time just being together, cooking, laughing, and playing with babies at this property! Would love to stay again sometime!

Comfy and welcoming

My fiance and I rented this property as a place for our bridal party, parents, and a few out-of-state guests to stay during our wedding, as there were no hotels near our venue. The property was clean and well-stocked with many things we might need, and Walmart is just a few minutes away for anything else. The property owners are extremely helpful and responsive, and the next-door neighbor was also very kind and sweet. Overall we had a great stay. Just a couple of critiques though: The listing doesn't make it very clear how the bedrooms are laid out. We were thinking the guest cottage had a queen-sized bed, and wanted to share that as a private space as newlyweds, but it just has a twin in the loft and a futon downstairs. The bath in the guest cottage doesn't have a sink, either (from what I was told). The main house has a large living room adjacent to the kitchen. Behind the kitchen is a master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath with a shower. Off to the right of the living room is a hall with a full bath including a combo tub-shower, across from a stacked washer and dryer; and at the end of the hall are two bedrooms, one queen and one double, across from one another. Upstairs in the loft is a cozy chair and a shuffleboard table, beyond which is a large bunk room with queen bed and a set of bunks, storage, and games. It's a cool space and it did work for our needs, but it would have been easier to plan our stay with a better idea of the layout in advance. Don't hesitate to rent this home, though! The owners are great!
