Enjoy our cozy Lakefront home and views on your next Tahoe trip! Pier use available!

Our single level home has a view from every room, with exception to the beautifully designed mountainside kitchen. This quaint, Tahoe Classic offers lake views from every bedroom - Awake to Lake Tahoe beauty! Enter into the open living room and dining room with patio door that lead to our massive deck space with plenty of seating. The patio leads to our private beach and pier for your boat pick ups!

Bedroom Configurations:
Bedroom 1: King- Smart TV
Bedroom 2: Queen
Bedroom 3: Queen
Loft: Double plus Twin

Parking:
Parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles in the driveway. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

Everything was simply wonderful at Runabout Lakefront! What a treat to be ON the lake with your own private dock. The house was spotless...really clean!...and the decor was that charming "classic lake house" vibe: cozy and intimate. The gas fireplace was easy to use --perfect in the mornings and evenings. Staying here was a dream come true! One other note that I'd like to mention; I've stayed in several VRBO houses where it looked like someone made a mad dash through a thrift store, grabbing a random assortment of mismatched silverware to toss in a kitchen drawer. (Yes...really.) But NOT here! WOW! I opened their drawer and discovered a gleaming new complete set of matching silverware. YES!!! If you're planning a special celebration (family reunion, Thanksgiving, etc.) it's really important to be able to set a nice table. This attention to detail is emblematic of how everything in this house is top notch. I'm looking forward to coming back again. Thank you, Runabout Owners, for taking such good care of your house and sharing it with us.

Great lake house! Enjoyed bbq on the lake with a full moon. Nice to have a pier. Classic Lake Tahoe feel with great views in all rooms!

The house was clean, well stocked, and in the most perfect location. Very quiet and private, but close to everything. The adults, teens and kids thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Lovely lake stay

Beautiful location on Lake Tahoe! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking supplies, and more - made it really easy to stay in and enjoy the lake. Good living spaces to chill. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return to the area.

Beautiful, up-close lake views and beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is about as close as you can get to the lake. Steps from the shore and dock, with beautiful and unobstructed morning, evening, and all day views of Lake Tahoe. Great location, about five minutes from Tahoe City, and restaurants / grocery going the other direction as well. Great house, clean, up-to-date, with really nice great room, sitting room / den, and one of the bedrooms a cozy upstairs one. Thank you for the great house.

This home was perfect

From the moment I pulled in the drive I knew we’d made a good decision to stay at the Run-About. Truly and outstanding property. It was hands down the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The views and sounds from the deck are so much better than the pictures can convey. Outstanding home!

Runabout Lake House -Amazing

Great house, great location. Loved the house, so comfortable. Excellent property manager w/great communication. The whole house has uninterrupted views of the lake and a number of great outdoor seating areas to take it all in.

The location is exactly what you are looking for in Lake Tahoe--right on the lake with your own dock, close to a few restaurants and grocery stores, and has great views of the lake from every room. We are already looking for a summer date to book at the same house.

Better Than Advertised!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our party of six adults with two separate sitting areas so we could spread out a little. The deck and the lower seating area were fantastic, such a great place for coffee, drinks or just hanging out. The pictures don't really do the view of the lake justice, it's pretty magnificent.We hated to leave this property and would definitely stay here again - thanks!
