Welcome to Wagon Wheel. Our 5 bedroom 4 full bath home is ideal for family gatherings, weddings on the property, church youth groups or friends who want to escape to the country life. Our home is less than 1 mile from the Tennessee River/ Chickamauga Lake and 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Our area of the country is known for mild weather and lots of outdoor activities. Our pool and flagstone patio are a great place to relax and we also have a covered complete outdoor kitchen with enough covered seating for a large 50+ person reception. We have leveled a grassy 7,500 square foot area behind the toolbarn that can accomadate a large tent or can be used for outdoor games and other activities. We have had several large parties here and 2 beautiful weddings recently. Consider Wagon Wheel Farm for your next getaway!

Great venue for families and friends.

Beautiful property. Great for family and friends getting together. Perfect venue for all ages. With great house, pool, large outdoor kitchen area, lots of space for kids playing outside, and attractions in Chattanooga we had a fantastic get away with our family.

Beautiful location and property will suited with great social zones and accommodations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We hosted a rehearsal and dinner one evening and everything was perfect for our event. The property is excellent in the area for large families or small groups. The property owners were very accommodating and responsive in communication.

Most incredible getaway close to Chattanooga!!

We had the absolute most wonderful stay in Harrison! Our hosts were extremely accommodating and generous with their personal home! Everything was spotless, beautiful, and the definition of relaxation. A perfect weekend spot for a large family!! Would highly recommend!!

Spectacular Getaway

This place was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here. Our family had an awesome time. So much to enjoy for the entire family. Thank you!!

A little taste of Heaven

The landscaping is absoutely beautiful. There are many places to gather for meals or Smores. Our grandchildren spent most of their time in the pool. We picked blackberries and there are other fruits not yet ripe. We had a great time and David was very responsive.

Elopement Celebration

The Shipley’s home was perfect for the type of event we wanted for our wedding. We hosted a brunch for about 40 people and then a reception/party with around 70 in attendance. We had games and activities for kids and adults, and live music as well. We hope this is our first/last wedding, but we would happily have a day like that again!

Spring break trip with the grandkids to Chattanooga TN.

David & Kim are so nice & responsive. The house was way more than accommodating to our multi family needs and it was spotless. The house and grounds are beyond beautiful. Family Softball Getaway

We were in town for my daughters softball tournament and my sister’s family joined us after returning to the States from overseas deployment. Great venue to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company. Owners were outstanding with communication and made us feel at home. So much on site to do, swimming, darts, grilling, corn hole, badminton and beautiful scenery to take in. The home is relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely book again when we are back in Chattanooga!! Close to downtown (30 min) and other activities. The Shipleys were so accommodating and quick to respond. We greatly appreciate them opening up their home to us to create our special memories.

Peaceful Getaway

We got this house for my family to come together and celebrate my mothers 80th Birthday and my daughters 26th. It was perfect for our party of 7. Beautiful countryside , a lot of outdoor places to sit and explore, and the house /kitchen had everything we needed. Upon check in - which was very easy with an electronic bolt , we noticed there was a beeping sound from the home alarm. I messaged David and he called right away offering to have his daughter come turn it off. She was there within minutes and was so sweet - leaving a note with her phone number. He also advised us how to uncover the pool so we could use it. We went into Chattanooga for a great dinner at Hennen’s . (It’s about 25 min into downtown- but easy drive) when we came back the lights in the trees and barn were lit and going out to pool. It was beautiful . My two daughters, ages 22 and 26 and their fiancé & boyfriend enjoyed the pool & hot tub while us older folks had a cup of coffee and sat out on the porch. My daughter & I both have a dog - they travel with us everywhere - and the owners were very accommodating. It was a great open space for them to run around and explore . We all came inside to have birthday cake and open presents -and we could all fit at the big table in kitchen. (One of my daughters presents had confetti all in it - which got all over the floor!) but we found a little vacuum in the closet and (hopefully) got it all! 🎉 We were very comfortable - felt like we were at home - so it made for a really enjoyable, relaxing getaway, Although David offered to let us stay longer than typical check out time - we all had to get back to our respective, scattered cities. But it was a very kind offer and we would have loved to. You would enjoy this home and the peaceful setting.

Kim and I have been married for almost 10 years and purchased this home in 2016. We are ReMax agents and this was the only home we looked at and immediately but in an offer.

We lived in the brick portion of the home for 1 year and then took the leap to completely remodel the 1200 square foot original house, gutting a bedroom to add a better stairwell and opening up the gally kitchen. We also finished the basement which was a job!!! We lived in a friend's camper in our driveway for 7 months during the remodel and our marrige survived!.

In 2019 we added the large master suite, enlarged the sun room and new laundry closet along with the office/ bedroom/ bonus room.

We enjoy our farm very much and love sharing it with great guests!

We are a very private setting. Quiet and in the country with plenty of deer, turkey, groundhogs, squirrels, birdwatching, etc. It is a slice of Heaven and we dearly love this place and hope you will, too! We call it "Hallowed Ground" and you will see why!

We allow dogs for an additional $100 per dog per stay and prefer under 50 lbs..... No dogs in the beds or on the furniture, please and thank you!

The pool has a new automatic pool cover for safty and a new propane heater . We welcome you to heat the pool at the rate per pound of gas.

We have also added a roof over our 25'x25' back deck with beautiful ceiling detail and comfy seating, can lights and 2 ceiling fans and propane fireplace! This is a roomy spot for watching TV, gathering with family and guests in the great outdoors!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our home is located about 10 minutes from the popular Howe Farms Venue and about 30 minutes to downtown Chattanooga and 20 minutes to Cleveland, Tn. Also, about 30 or 45 minutes from Ocoee White Water Rafting..... There is a little historic town, Dayton, home of the famous Scopes Trial and a Monkey Town Brewery has great food..... Try the Beer Cheese Dip with soft homemade pretzel! Yummmy!

We have hosted several families of the bride and/ or groom and have had weddings here as well as rehersal dinners, bridal showers, and office parties and church youth group and families in town for Spring Breaks and softball tournaments.

Bring your jet skis and boat! Our home is also very close to the Tennessee River and there is a boat launch just a couple of miles from this property. We have hosted several fisherman here for tournaments and there is plenty of parking for boat trailors.
