This exquisite 5200 sq ft home is nestled on 5 acres of woods and nature. It has been meticulously renovated with a blend of modern updates and timeless classics. Between the pool, grill, walking trail, music room, projector screen, pool table, game consoles, karaoke machine, none can be bored here. Located approximately 5-10 minutes away from Harrison Bay lake, and Bear Trace golf course. Enjoy being 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga with the peace and quiet of the woods. (Please note that there are UNMONITORED AUDIO/VIDEO security cameras located on each door of the property, solely for security and liability purposes.)

Great Stay

Beautiful home, awesome pool! The owners were very nice and accommodating. It was great to be able to go out and do tourist things and come back and swim. The family loved it. Nice, spacious, great amenities.

The entire experience from start to finish was 10/10. The owners were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who needs SPACE. There was so much space so it made our big group feel like we all had our own areas of the house. Well equipped and all we needed to bring was food! Beds were very comfortable and no detail was left out.

Awesome Stay

Our Family had a great stay. The kids and great kids really the pool and all the extras. Pool table, musical instruments and the dart board. I walked the trail several mornings.

It is a sprawling home with lots of amenities. There is so much space that you never feel like you're on top of each other. Lots of dinnerware, pots and pans, and no worries if you forgot a spice...they have it. The outside has a lot to do and a beautiful pool and patio area. The owners were very nice and were easy to get in touch with (we couldn't figure out how to light the fire pit).My friends and I are looking forward to doing another girl's trip in the spring!!

Wedding weekend

We needed a big house close to the gray dove wedding venue. It was perfect and only 5 minutes from the venue. Enjoyed our stay & it worked out great for us

I reserved this house for my son's wedding. Staying at the house were my two adult children and their family, and my sister and brother and their family.There are 4 cooks in this group and they all agree that this house has the absolutely best stocked kitchen we have ever seen at an VRBO.The pool was WONDERFUL! All of "non-cooks" enjoyed hanging out and swimming at the pool.I would recommend this house for anyone who enjoys entertaining and feeding their family and friends.

Family trip

We really enjoyed this house. It had a heated pool for the kids and great walking paths through the woods. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The host was wonderful and very prompt with getting in touch with me if I needed something. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing Property!

Great property. Clean and exactly as pictures depict. Perfect for large family gatherings. House had lots to do-pool table, karaoke, heated pool. Owners very responsive and nice. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back.

Beautiful retreat

This place was impressive as soon as you walk through the door. Very clean and roomy. There was plenty to do in the game room. This place has everything you need to entertain all ages. It is located in a private area so you can enjoy your stay peacefully. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation without having to leave the house. The heated pool is definitely a perk! We will be back to visit very soon! The owner is very good about responding!

18th birthday/Graduation Gathering

We had an amazing stay at this home! It was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend. The pool was absolutely beautiful and perfect for all ages. The entertainment room was a favorite for the teens—between the pool table, darts, and karaoke, they were never bored! We also loved hanging out in the living room playing games and just unwinding. The house had such a welcoming feel, and all the little touches and amenities were spot on. If you’re looking for a place that’s fun, relaxing, and great for families or groups, this is it! David and Lorie were fantastic hosts—so helpful and easy to communicate with.

Absolutely Amazing

This was indeed the "Ultimate Vacation Getaway"! The property was beautifully decorated and landscaped and had everything we needed (games, puzzles, darts, chess, billiards, karaoke, and a spectacular pool). The kitchen was well stocked and even had snacks and a tea and coffee bar! I often find that pictures can be deceiving, but that wasn't the case here. We had plenty of room to have privacy, but there was also ample family space for our whole group to hangout.The massage chair alone was worth the stay! I honestly could have skipped the sightseeing and stayed on property for the entirety of our stay! We have already discussed returning next year!

Very Nice

Beautiful home. Lots of space for the family. Kids loved the toys, all the grown ups enjoyed the game room, massage chair and large TV. Nicely stocked with extras. Very clean.

Felt like coming homen

It was incredible From the moment we walked in! Great communication, clear easy instructions! The house was even MORE beautiful than the pictures, usually people take pictures to help the look of the house, but this was even nicer and more spacious than we weee expecting!!They had snacks and EVERYTHING we could’ve needed!! I wish I could give 10 stars!!! We weee beyond pleased with this house and the hosts!!

The home was perfect for our group- 87 year old Mom, 4 adult children & 2 adult grandkids. Mom loved that her bedroom required no stairs. We all appreciated that we were together but still have privacy, as the bedrooms are spread out. Mornings we convened with coffee out by the pool & ended the day in the massive living room with some taking turns 'resting' in massage chair. We attended Friday welcome party in Chattanooga & Saturday wedding at Howe Farms. We were thrilled that home is equidistant to Chattanooga & Howe Farms wedding venues, so we never had to travel far.Going out to eat with my family is akin to herding turtles, so eating at 'home' was a huge relief. We got to see much more of each other than we would have in other lodging. And, still had enough privacy (key to happiness).The house itself is beautiful, welcoming, immaculate, and has absolutely everything you could need. I brought spices, pans, beach towels, coffee... and didn't need any of it! Hosts are wonderful, immediately responsive, and genuinely caring. Pool was enjoyed by most of us- perfect temp saltwater joy. I left an important (to me) box there & owner mailed it to me the same day- amazing.We all agreed we'd like to return & take advantage of amenities we didn't get to- trails out back, outdoor grill station, karaoke. So perfect for families & musicians. Most importantly, our mother was OVER THE MOON with the place and has not stopped raving about it!

Graduation stay

We stayed four nights at the property with a large group of family, including elderly grandmothers with physical limitations and teenage boys and other adults in between. We were there for a high school graduation. The property was spacious with lots of amenities. The outside pool, and the pool room with the karaoke set up was loved by all, especially the younger generation. The host provided bottled water, coffee, tea, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, spices, etc.. Check-in was easy and communication with the host was great. We had a large family barbecue on Friday night and a graduation celebration on Sunday afternoon. There was plenty of space for all. When we first arrived, we were a little concerned about the layout and who would use which bathroom/bedroom and making sure the Grandmother‘s could access bathrooms and bedrooms easily. We were able to figure it all out and everything worked wonderfully for the whole weekend. I have another son graduating in two years. If the host will have us, perhaps we will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Casa de Lorie! Both house and pool were big, clean, and beautiful. We enjoyed the pool table, dart board, and karaoke machine. We had some mores by the pool at the fire pit. There is a tv in every room, and did I mention the massage chair?? There is even a popcorn machine and a shaved ice machine. The house is well stocked with coffee, supplies for shaved ice and popcorn. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, dishes, pots and pans…Lorie and Dave have thought of everything! We had a group of 7 adults and 2 children, and there was abundant space for everyone to hang out snd not feel crowded. The house is BIG! With all that said, I’d like to mention that while the property does sleep 12 (5 bedrooms), 6 of those spots are in one bedroom where there are 2 queens and a bunk bed. This bedroom can only be accessed by going through the master bedroom or from an outside entrance. From this bedroom, one must go through the master bedroom to access a bathroom. We found this a bit awkward, since our daughter, son-in-law and their two young children stayed in that room (first world problem, but still, not ideal). There is one other bathroom on the main floor that is next to the kitchen. The third bathroom is upstairs in a small bedroom that has an en-suite. There is another upstairs bedroom that is in a separate upstairs area that has no bathroom, and requires a trip down stairs for bath access. It might be worth considering accessibility before booking.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Great hosts, they went way above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. Communication was top notch. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we could possibly need. Our family especially loved hanging out in the rec room playing pool, gathering at the dining table to eat and play games, watching tv on the super comfy couch, enjoying the deluxe massage chair, and walking on the trail. We are so grateful that we had such a lovely place to stay while in the area for our niece’s wedding at Howe Farms. The location was perfect and convenient to parks and many restaurants and it was very easy to get to Chattanooga to enjoy all that the city has to offer. We hope to return when the weather is warm to enjoy the pool next time!

5 acre lot, many great amenities with so much to do. The pool is THE BEST with lots of great seating etc. Great game room, PS 5 gaming system. Our home is very spread out with lots of space for many guests to have plenty of room without being cramped . GREAT LOCATION!!
