This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this property. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again. The host is excellent, the unit is well maintained and very well appropriated. The views are the BEST!

The house is very comfortable and exceptionally well stocked. We love the view and the hosts are excellent at communicating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property facing Grandfather Mountain. Unit is beautifully decorated and well stocked with kitchen items. Hosts Mary & Doug have thought of everything - stocked coffee bar, chilled bottled water, a welcome bag of goodies and a wonderful guide book for the area. Beds are very comfortable and the upstairs loft for reading/privacy is a plus. This was our third stay at this home and we will return. Excellent communication w Mary from time of booking through check out. Highly recommend

AMAZING!! From the moment you open the door. Awesome mountain view and centrally located to all hot spots in The Highlands. Host Mary and Doug rank at the top of our list for VRBO host. From the welcome bag when we arrive with a bottle of wine and a hand written welcome card. Also the ammenties were ample and great quality. Mary even had a glass jar filled with top brand chips and chocolate for us. The bed was very comfortable.We travel a lot and this home had the most attention to detail of any of our stays.We will be back very soon! Gail and Greg

Fantastic Summer Getaway

We have visited Echota for a number of years and this was the best property yet. The views were amazing and the unit was superb.

Beautiful view! Beautiful home! Kitchen was wonderful and very well stocked! My adult kids & grandkids stayed in the condo for Thanksgiving and they had absolutely everything they needed to prepare their dishes for the meal! Property owners were very attentive as well!

We booked two units, CC5 and CC7, CC7 was on the floor above CC5, so that worked out nicely for our families traveling together.The location was wonderful, and the view of Grandfather Mountain was spectacular.

Beautiful Fall Weekend Stay

This property was absolutely beautiful and included any amenity you could want. The view was spectacular of Grandfather Mountain and enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning or wine in the evenings watching the sunset could not be more peaceful!

Wonderful stay!

This is our second stay at the Red Tail Nest in the past year. Our family really enjoys all that the condo has to offer and the amenities. The unit is very clean and looks exactly as advertised. We love staying here and will be back again!

Loved being on the top of the mountain with a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain! The location felt central to everywhere we wanted to explore. Mary is a gracious hostess and the condo is immaculate and comfortable. I wish we’d planned to cook because the kitchen is well stocked and the deck and grill set up would have made for the best sunset dinners. We hope to be back for a longer stay.

Slice of heaven !

This property was top notch , beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed . The view of Grandfather mountain was the best and many hours were spent relaxing and enjoying the sunny view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The home was convenient to both Beech Mountain and Boone, perfect centralized location. The home was beautiful, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. We will be back!
