Getaway from the hustle and bustle and visit this beautiful, newly renovated home nestled in the Western Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 10 minutes from downtown Boone and historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina, this home will not disappoint. Wildlife and serenity abound on the property, along with a hiking trail, natural fire pit, outdoor seating areas, games and more. The home has an open floor plan, with large newly renovated and updated kitchen and dining area, for family gatherings and lovely meals.
Each room provides scenic views with outdoor decks and seating available. Large master bedroom with walk-in closet, luxurious shower and double sinks. Two additional queen beds with private bath and shower. Washer, dryer and gas grill on site. Our home will sleep at least 6 people comfortably. Separate listing for lower level, The Intimate Gap Getaway. Check it out if you need more beds and/or space.

We have stayed here multiple times. The home and hosts are incredible. Great location, love the new paved driveway. The decks are lovely to sit out and enjoy the quiet and natural surroundings.

Great place to stay

We had an awesome time. Got caught in the snow but was one of the most memorable vacation ever. Property was beautifully renovated. Host was amazing and very accommodating.

Fantastic Getaway

The place was even more impressive than the photos depicted. We had a phenomenal time of fun and fellowship . The Host thought of every detail to ensure our stay was a memorable one. We will plan to stay again when we’re in Boone.

Weekend in Vilas

This property is beautifully appointed!! Very clean and has lovely property. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to downtown Boone. The decks of the bedrooms are great for morning coffee or just relaxing throughout the day. We loved this place so much we are headed back less than a month later. Great value!!

A fall getaway

The house was all decorated for the fall holidays and very welcoming. It was stocked with many thoughtful items and even yummy baked goods from the local bakery! Beds comfortable and each BR with a bathroom! Cozy living room and a deck that invites you to sit and enjoy.

Perfect weekend

We came up for the weekend with our daughter, her fiancé and his parents. This house is absolutely perfect. Very clean and stocked with just about anything you can imagine. We will be returning in the future.

A wonderful family weekend

My sisters and sister-in-law and I very much enjoyed staying at this home while visiting my son and his family and the Boone and Banner Elk area. It was very comfortable and spotless and beautifully decorated. We arrived late and found the twisting and hilly approach and driveway a little daunting the first time after dark but the surroundings are also lovely in the daylight!

Thanksgiving away

We stayed here for a family Thanksgiving trip. House is beautiful and everything you need is there. Pictures don't do it justice - so well decorated, comfortable and pretty! Kitchen and living room are spacious, and we had plenty of room to cook and gather. Mitchell (owner) was very responsive to the few questions I had on arrival. Would definitely recommend this cabin...thanks for a wonderful holiday!

What a Gem!!

If you are looking for a place to stay near Boone and have happened upon this gem, look no further! This place is amazing! The host are absolutely spectacular and have thought of every little detail plus more! We had a family weekend here and couldn’t have wanted for anything more! There were other renters staying in the bottom unit and we never saw any sign of them other than their car! Perfect in every way!

Very clean, modern finishes

Stayed for a week, doing work in the area. Very nice , pictures accurately depict property. Mitchell responded quickly when there was a WiFi issues. (Easy fix with a reset) Gas grill works! Each bedroom has its own bathroom and deck!

Just amazing!

This was probably the best rental house we have ever stayed at! We were 2 couples and 2 kids and there was plenty of space and privacy for everybody! The house is clean, beautiful, completely updated and has everything you could possibly need (extra blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, hair driers, etc) and everything you can possibly imagine in the bathrooms and in the kitchen! We felt at home and had a great stay! We will definitely come back! And Mitchell was super quick to reply to all pur questions. Just amazing!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

A 5-Star rating doesn't begin to describe this meticulously renovated home. Everything is brand new and tastefully chosen. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom and private balcony. The owner had seasonal decorations and a welcome basket that made us feel more like friends than random strangers. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We had plans on going out to eat, but chose to bring our dinner in so we could enjoy the ambience of the house. We would definitely choose this house in the future and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Boone area.

Weekend family getaway in the mountains

Highly recommend this property- was a lovely getaway, you will not be disappointed. Beautifully renovated home with everything you would need. Open floor plan kitchen,dining and living area. 3 bedrooms each with comfy beds and private bathrooms and balconies. Tucked away on the mountainside - peacefully nestled in the trees with its own hiking path to the ridge line. We spend time in Blowing Rock and Boone as well as Linville Caverns. We also enjoyed cooking together, completing puzzles, watching movies and rocking on the balconies. A perfect getaway location with the friendliest of hosts. Give it a try- you won’t be disappointed!

New Years Vacation

We have no words to Express how special we felt staying here. Every detailed was very special. Your welcome was spectacular. Celebrating the season here with all Christmas decorations was a detailed that made our vacation even more special. Everything was just perfect. Your attention to us was amazing; your responses were within seconds. I am amazed. The house was extremely cleaned, smelled super good and the house felt cozy. We had definitely an experience that we didn't imagine. Thank you. Our family is very happy and really appreciate everything you did.

Beautiful Mountain Home!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The home has been fully renovated to a high standard. Everything looks and feels new and modern. A few small nitpicks - the home needed to be mopped. Our feet were noticeably dirty from walking on the floor. Also, the mattresses and bed linens were uncomfortable. Everything else was so nice in the house, and the bed quality really stood out as not meeting the same standard. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed it. Just a few small things like the floors and mattress kept this from being an overall 5 star stay, considering the fact that our rate was $500/night.

Fantastic Property

This property was top notch. We were delighted to find this property beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and well stocked for all of our needs. We were touring the area for potential App State student and wished we had longer to stay. Every bedroom was extremely comfortable with its own bathroom. We loved all the bedrooms and bathrooms! Each had a spacious linen closet with tons of towels, floor mats, extra sheets, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with all we could ever need. There was a hot tea/coffee bar as well. There were also two seating areas in the kitchen so plenty of room for family meals. Great family room area where we could all hang out together. Appliances are all new with gorgeous kitchen area to make meals if you want to stay in. We woke up to snow covered mountain sides and it was just gorgeous. Every bedroom had a great view! There was also a wrap around type porch with a nice grill for our use! Very comfortable place and I would highly recommend it. We were about 10 minutes tops from downtown which wasn't an issue for us. The host is extrememly responsive to any questions. Very good experience all the way around! Can't say enough about how nice the owners and the property are!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

A delightful home and hosts! We were visiting for the Doc and Rosa Lee Bluegrass Festival so it was a perfect location. It’s not far from some of the other city centers for daytime excursions. The house is well appointed and designed well! We all enjoyed our stay!
