Incredible views of the rolling greens, fairways, and water features of the google five-star rated Garden Golf Course from the decks of this custom log home located on the 7th hole. Open floor plan with kitchen/dining/living room/office/loft occupying the central space. A very large full bathroom is located on the first floor along with a sleeping nook with two twin beds. A master bedroom with 1/2 bath is on the second floor adjacent to an open loft area with an additional bedroom. Each has a queen bed. In addition, you'll find a washer and dryer, and two spacious decks.

Garden Peninsula

We loved the location and exploring the Garden Peninsula. Also, it was great having the golf course right out our door. Would love to visit the area again! Home provided everything we needed for our stay.

Great location!

The property was very clean and Nicole was so detailed with her check-in, check-out, and general during stay directions that let us be able to just enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for us to get in some ice fishing but still have the comfort of a quiet getaway. We have already been bragging to our friends and family about it!

Nice getaway

The cabin is super cozy and had everything we needed. It also was very clean. We only have two suggestions, 1.A new shower head (in hopes that the water pressure would increase), and 2. A new mattress on the upstairs bed (bedroom without the bathroom). Overall our stay was good and we would definitely go back.

Overall we were pleased with our stay and appreciated the "little things" provided by the host.

The property is very nice. One of the beds is a couch, so be prepared for that. The water pressure is a little low in the shower. I would recommend replacing the head as an easy and enjoyable perk for your guests. The location is amazing, and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you!

The owner of the cottage 'accidentally' purchased it when he bought the Garden Golf Course, back in 2017. With the assistance of Nicole, a pro VRBO host, the cottage has been transformed into a luxurious stay on the Garden Peninsula.

Just one hour from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, this is your best headquarters location for the Upper Peninsula! Just a few miles from MiniMart where you can get all your groceries, including Nick's famous meat! Hit all the best sandy Lake Michigan beaches, all within 25 minutes of the cottage!

AMENITIES
We’re including everything to help you have a comfortable stay: Linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, cookware, dishes and silverware, full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, blender, pantry items, sink disposal, outdoor gas grill, outdoor seating, window A/C units, TV with preloaded Netflix and Roku stations (no cable or satellite), 40 acres of grounds and gardens to explore.

-Garden Bay access at the Garden Bay boat launch - 1 mile south on M-183
-Sand beach swimming at Fayette State Park beach (next road past the State Park entrance 10 mins south of Garden Grove), Tylene's at Garden Corners (10 mins north), Rogers Park in Thompson (20 mins), Indian Lake State Park (25 mins).
-Hiking, sightseeing at Fayette State Park and Ghost Town (10 mins), Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (1 hour), Big Spring/Kitch-iti-kipi (25 mins)
-Fish off the dock at Snail Shell Harbor at Fayette State Park -Charter boat, pontoon, or kayak rentals at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (1 hour)
